Patent number: 7399264Abstract: A process for producing high pressure tubing from austenitic stainless steels. The process entails passing a continuous austenitic stainless steel strip through pre-weld rolls enclosed in a forming housing to produce a continuous tubular shape having opposing edges separated by a longitudinal gap. While the gap is maintained with a seam guide and a liquid-free gas mixture of an inert gas and a gaseous flux is directed at the gap and into an interior of the tubular shape, the tubular shape is caused to pass through a high frequency induction coil to cause heating of the opposing edges of the tubular shape. Pressure is then applied to the tubular shape with weld rolls to force the opposing edges together and form a continuous tubing having a continuous butt weld joint. The weld joint is then quenched with an inert gas without the assistance of a liquid coolant.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 2005Date of Patent: July 15, 2008Assignee: Mill Masters, Inc.Inventors: William E. Patent number: 7359654Abstract: An image generating apparatus is provided which can maximize the throughput without causing thermal damage of the fusing components. It determines a sub-thermistor temperature threshold value for switching small size paper feed intervals in response to a sub-thermistor initial temperature. It supplies a heating body with current for heating, and starts feeding recording mediums at the feed interval determined by a feed interval initial value. Patent number: 7280794Abstract: A fixing roller 30, which has an internal heating device and is supported to rotate around a cylindrical shaft 40, and a pressure roller 81 whose circumferential face presses against the fixing roller 30, and which is supported to rotate around the pressure roller axle 82, are mounted in a housing 11, so that, by passing paper P to which a toner image has been transferred, a fixing process is performed on this toner image. The fixing roller 30 is mounted in the housing 11 by heat resistant bushings 50, which are fitted on both ends of the cylindrical shaft 40. Annular grooves 41 are arranged on the cylindrical shaft 40 for receiving C-shaped retaining rings 70, for preventing the heat resistant bushings 50 from coming off. The heat resistant bushings 50 and the retaining rings 70 engage with each other to rotate in unison around the cylindrical shaft 40.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2005Date of Patent: October 9, 2007Assignee: Kyocera Mita CorporationInventor: Masashi Fujimoto
