Abstract: The invention relates generally to housings such as storage containers and to containers for sets of items that are likely to be selected either singly or in groups. In particular, but not necessarily so restricted, the present invention relates to a housing for receiving items for recording/recorded media such as floppy diskettes, computer/audio/video data tapes on reels or cartridges, dvd/ cd/ computer discs/ game discs and the like which should be stored in a clean and secure environment. Prior storage elements for computer disks, including floppy disks and diskettes, generally do not provide adequate simultaneous dispersement of the disks for ease of viewing and access. Storage containers for computer disks generally do not provide means for storing the containers themselves in an efficient manner, but users must rely on conventional bookshelves or other filing means which are not always appropriate or convenient. CDs/DVDs are generally stored in cases which are generally rectangular.

Abstract: Described are preferred methods and compositions for controlling aquatic weeds that involve the use of an herbicidal combination including a first herbicidal agent selected from triclopyr and 2,4-d and at least a second selected herbicidal agent. In preferred methods of the invention, the selected second herbicidal agent can be fluridone, diquat, an ALS inhibitor, or 2,4-d, with the proviso that when the second herbicidal agent is 2,4-d the first herbicidal agent is triclopyr. Preferred herbicidal combinations allow for enhanced control and/or selectivity when treating a body of water to control a target weed population, such as a watermilfoil, curlyleaf pondweed, Brazilian elodea, and/or hydrilla weed population.

Abstract: A coupling piece for joining two containers (35, 36) that are stacked one atop the other, particularly onboard ships is provided. Such a coupling is provided at corner fittings (43, 44) and each include a stop plate (21) and a coupling projection (22, 23) on each side of the stop plate (21). A first coupling projection (22) can be placed on the corner fitting of one container (36) and the other coupling projection (23) is provided with a locking catch (28, 46, 54) for locking inside a corner fitting of the other container (35). The drawback that front-side openings in upper corner fittings (43, 44) of a container (36) are obstructed by a locking catch of the coupling piece, hindering the use of lashing means is overcome with the coupling piece locking catch (28, 46, 54), when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the containers (35, 36), being arranged laterally on the other coupling projection (23).

Abstract: The present invention relates generally a platform and multiple box case for housing electronic and acoustical equipment for stationary and transitional operations, and more particularly to offer an apparatus for safely and adjustably providing an upper platform mated to the upper and lower boxes of the multiple box case. Traditional types of cases and racks are suitable for typical audio gears in the DJ field. However, more users of such boxes are using laptop computers and other accessories. Yet, such users are discovering that traditional boxes lack the space for such devices on the typical cases that they are currently utilizing. The present invention provides a solution for the placement of additional gears in a variably slidable platform without taking any more space than in typical DJ boxes.
