Abstract: A recyclable multilayer synthetic foam container that does not wick, for direct and non-direct food contact and aseptic packaging application is disclosed. In one aspect, a container comprises a pre-creased and/or folded multilayer synthetic foam sheet comprising at least one foam layer, that can be hermetically sealed along the edges, wherein the synthetic board sheet is a recyclable material that does not wick. In another aspect, the product has a bending stiffness value greater than 17 in Taber stiffness unit configuration according to TAPPI/ANSI T 489 om-15. In some embodiments, the product can have an oxygen transmission rate of less than 20 cc/m2/24 hr, according to ASTM D3985. In some embodiments, the product can have a water vapor transmission rate of less than 10 gr/m2/24 hr, according to ASTM E398-13.

Abstract: To manufacture a metal can having a tear-open lid and having a storage space for an object above the tear-open lid, the following procedure is used: first, a top edge of the can which has a smaller diameter than the inside diameter of the can body is formed, wherein a transition region (6) is formed. After the tear-open lid has been attached, this transition region is deep drawn so that the tear-open lid (2) is displaced towards the bottom (5) of the can. This produces the storage space. This procedure allows previously formed tear-open lids to be used, which safely guarantees the imperviousness of the seal of the tear-open lid.

Abstract: A peelable foil closure includes a base extending longitudinally along a first, longitudinal axis and laterally along a second, lateral axis, and a skirt extending from the base. The skirt includes a first portion including a circular edge having a predominant portion located on a first side of the second axis. The skirt also includes a second portion including a wavy edge, and a pull tab located on a second side of the second axis.

Abstract: A resealable closure or package for a container in which package integrity is indicated by a structure which breaks and/or produces an audible sound when the resealable closure is opened for a first time. The package integrity feature, in one form includes at least one strip or frangible structure that is initially affixed to two portions which comprise the resealable closure so that upon opening the resealable closure for a first time, at least one of the strips breaks. The strips may include a weakened portion such as a narrowing. Integrity of the package is indicated by an intact strip viewable upon opening the resealable closure and conversely, a broken or non-intact strip would indicate that the resealable closure has been previously opened. Package integrity may also be shown by a movable second panel or movable die cut tab portions.

Abstract: A reusable single-piece tamper-evident cover for protecting a drinking area of a beverage can before and after removal of the cover from the can. The cover includes: a cover top, a clasp ring positioned below and contiguous with the cover top, and a skirt being positioned below and contiguous with the ring. The ring includes at least one tamper-evident seal that includes two tear lines. The tear lines do not extend to the inner cover surface. Tearing along the tear lines results in tampering the seal, and does not tear the inner cover surface. An entirety of the inner cover surface is able to be continuous when the skirt extends along an entirety of the ring, as well as after removal of the cover from the can.

The at least one tab is arrange to press the outermost radial portion while the lid is being removed from the body so that the outermost radial portion maintains a bent orientation.

Abstract: A content-saving system featuring a plunger series, a cap series, and a winder series. After a hand-squeeze type tube or a cartridge gun type tube is opened for use, the caps are used to prevent hardening of contents during storage. The winder aids in forcing the contents out of the hand-squeeze tube. If the product contents harden to prevent use, the plunger is used to clear the obstruction in the end of either type tube. Additional caps of both sizes and winders may be provided with the plunger assembly in kit form or sold separately when the consumer needs additional units for storage surplus.

Abstract: The useful model is related to devices for temporary overlapping of access to a container, in order to prevent penetration of various substances from outside, and to prevent spillage of liquid from the container, particularly to plugs for bottles. The purpose of the useful model is to reduce materials consumption. The useful model is implemented as follows. The user overturns the bottle, with its neck facing the bottom, and sets it in a bottling system. In such case, the bottling system is equipped with an opposite part, e.g. a tube with edge, which is not perpendicular to the tube axis. The tube is inserted in hole and breaks the diaphragm under the effect of the weight of the bottle with liquid. Liquid is thus supplied to the bottling system. Therefore, if the device consists of a side wall, edge wall, the first lip and diaphragm, such a design ensures saving of the expensive material required to make the device (side wall, edge wall and the first lip), since the diaphragm is made from another material.
