The bracket includes a first portion configured to be coupled to an outer surface of the electrical box; and a second portion coupled to the first portion and pivotable relative to the first portion. The second portion includes a leg and a plurality of tabs, and the tabs are pivotable relative to the connecting portion.

Abstract: A ceiling fan brace bracket assembly with a bracket, at least two holes, at least one first screw, and at least one second screw. The bracket has a channel that opens toward a bottom of the bracket and at least one lip that extends along the channel. The channel is sized and shaped to extend around a ceiling fan brace. The at least two holes extend through the at least one lip, and each of the at least two holes is configured to align with a corresponding screw hole in an electrical box. The at least one first screw is a press-fit screw and is configured to extend downward through a first hole of the at least two holes. The at least one second screw is configured to extend upward through a second hole of the at least two holes.

Abstract: A slider bar for mounting one or more electrical boxes of non-standard stud spacing. The slider bar is adjustable to ease the positioning and installation of one or multiple boxes where they are needed in the stud cavity. The slider bar provides a stable mounting platform between the studs and eliminates the time-consuming need to modify the non-standard stud cavity. The slider bar includes pre-formed holes in one or more of the bars to facilitate easy attachment of electrical boxes. An interlocking tab stop prevents accidental disassembly. Bending guides on bracket ends assure proper positioning on studs. The slider bar may be used to mount one or more plastic boxes or metal boxes rated for non-metallic cable or metal clad cables.

Abstract: A mounting bracket is provided for an electrical device that can be configured for use with a support that has a first and a second rail. The mounting bracket can include a mounting body with a mounting face configured to secure the electrical device to the mounting bracket between the first and second rails when the mounting bracket is secured to the support. The mounting bracket can include a first attachment device connected to the mounting body and a second attachment device connected to the mounting body opposite the first attachment device. Each of the first and second attachment devices can include a first arm configured to engage with a first side of the corresponding first or second rail, and a second arm configured to engage with a second side of the corresponding rail, opposite the first arm.

The top slide is configured to slide in and out of the top side of the main frame for positioning the top side. The bottom slide is configured to slide in and out of the bottom side for positioning the bottom side.

Abstract: A Z-bracket is adapted for mounting an electrical box to the open face of a metal stud. The invention has two mounting platforms with self-tapping screw holes. The flat brackets of an electrical box are secured to these mounting platforms. The invention has a retaining tab with at least one retaining indentation for screwing the retaining tab to the open face of a metal stud. A connector connects the retaining tab to the mounting platforms. The front edge of each mounting platform has a groove, which accommodates the tongue on a tab of the metal stud. Multiple triangular braces connect the mounting platforms to the connector for structural support. The invention is sized to fit a standard metal stud, providing an improved method for attaching electrical boxes to the open face of a metal stud.

Abstract: A bracket system for mounting an electrical box and other components to a ceiling structure can include a support bar and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket can be configured to receive an end of the support bar and selectively secure the support bar at any of a plurality of positions relative to the mounting bracket.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to electrical box assemblies and universal stabilizing brackets that can be used to stabilize electrical boxes attached to different size wall studs. The electrical box assemblies include an electrical box and a stabilizing bracket. Each stabilizing brackets includes a base, a front stop, a rear stop and one or more rear stop segments. The front and rear stops and the rear stop segments include a face member that extends substantially perpendicularly relative to the base. One or more notches are positioned at a junction between each rear stop to facilitate the breaking away of rear stop segments to modify the length of the stabilizing bracket.

Abstract: An electrical box which utilizes fastening devices to provide improved box fastening to wall assembly materials with common fasteners. The electrical box possesses one or a plurality of externally situated fastener housings each with characteristics that support fastener placement, guide fastener insertion, limit fastener travel and house the fastener, once fully driven, outside of the box body interior. The externally situated fastener housing's placement outside of the box body allows for fastener insertion from the box body interior while not diminishing volumetric capacity of the box body. Alternative embodiments include round enclosure and bottom mount versions.

Abstract: (1) Clips for installation of electrical boxes into a finished framed wall. Plus the box clips can be used on various types of handy boxes for installation on existing walls, the old work box clips fasten the electrical box into a rectangular cutout in drywall. (2) The box clips are made from a 7 and ¾ inch by 2.5 mm or about 3/32's of an inch of cylindrical metal formed in a manner to support a plastic or metal electrical box in drywall. (3) To be used for adding electrical devices or circuits in offices or homes.

Abstract: There is provided a utility junction box including a first housing portion with three sidewalls, a top sidewall, a rear access opening with a removable access cover, and an open bottom opening into an interior volume for receiving at least one line from a first location, and a second housing portion forming a weather guard extending cantilever style from the top sidewall and the three sidewalls including a sloping front face, a front wall, and a lower sidewall formed with a plurality of openings facing downwards, wherein each opening formed in the lower sidewall of the weather guard is configured to allow at least one utility line to pass from within the interior volume of the housing through the opening and direct the utility line through the opening formed in the lower sidewall of the weather guard to a second location exterior to the utility junction box.

The first set of mounting openings can be configured to receive a plurality of fasteners to attach the mounting bracket to a first electrical box.

The upper wire outlet hole is arranged on the shell and configured for leading wires, the lower wire outlet hole is provided on the bottom cover of the shell and configured for leading wires, and the side wire outlet hole is provided on the shell and configured for leading wires.

Abstract: A lighting junction box assembly includes a lighting junction box housing having a body with a partially cylindrical sidewall, a closed end, and a circular opening opposite the closed end, and flat inset facets with knock-out holes formed on the sidewall. A pair of bracket assemblies attaches the lighting junction box housing in a vertically adjustable position onto hanger bars fixed between ceiling joists. The adjustable vertical position provides for use and mounting in ceilings of various thicknesses. The bracket assemblies provide the ability to adjust the vertical position of the lighting junction box housing during installation by a simple fastener inside the junction box which may be tightened without the use of tools. This capability is accomplished by the use of a carriage bolt which may be vertically positioned in a slot in the bracket.

Where at least one of the front and two sides is apertured and interchangeable with a second one of the front and two sides, the pull body is convertible between Type LB, Type LL and Type LR pull bodies. On-the-job-site construction of different types of pull bodies is possible from a selection of component parts. Methods of improving cavity access and creating different pull body types are disclosed.

And the pair of hanger-bar-to-box-attachment-devices that are also attached to the pair of hanger-bars, are adjustable in a horizontally slidable and lockable manner along a finite horizontal path, defined by a length of the pair of hanger-bars. The junction box may also have a set of height-markings on its exterior to facilitate adjusting the junction box to a desired height with respect to a given ceiling.

Abstract: A ventilating system including a housing, a ventilating assembly and a mounting assembly coupled to the housing. The mounting assembly can include two support members, two first mounting brackets, two second mounting brackets, and two third mounting brackets. The third mounting brackets include a first and second flange, and the second mounting brackets include bendable tabs to secure the mounting assembly to a structure. The first mounting brackets each include lead in features comprising an alignment plate and a pair of guiding plates. The first mounting brackets include a portion between the lead in features that is spaced from the lead in features to provide housing clearance.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a ventilator mounting bracket, belonging to device installation brackets. Existing ventilator mounting brackets are smaller in adjustable distance range, difficult in installation and fixation and low in efficiency. The ventilator mounting bracket of the present invention is provided with two telescoping rod components which can extend and shorten and two folding rod components which are connected between the two telescoping rod components and can be folded and unfolded; the two folding rod components are unfolded to stretch the two telescoping rod components such that the two telescoping rod components and the two folding rod components form a mounting hole for mounting a ventilator; the two folding components are folded to withdraw the two telescoping rod components for packaging and transportation; moreover, the two ends of each one of the two telescoping rod components can be fixed at corresponding fixed parts by adjusting the length of the telescoping rod components.

The guide walls may include flexible support for the wire with a protrusion to contact the wire. The flexible support may also include a tab operable for moving the protrusion away from contact with the wire. Abstract: An electrical box bar hanger includes an adjustable channel having a plurality of locking tabs at distal ends thereof and first and second end plates with each of the first and second end plates having a plurality of locking apertures thereon. The first and second end plates are integrally connected to each distal end of the adjustable channel. When each end plate is bent 90 degrees against each corresponding end of the adjustable channel, each of the plurality of locking apertures aligns with each corresponding locking tab, such that the plurality of locking tabs can be inserted into corresponding locking aperture to allow the first and second end plates to be perpendicular with the adjustable channel without the use of welding.

The inner bracket and outer bracket may each include a slot or track to provide slidable or telescopic adjustment of the spanner system. The slot or track may also provide an adjustable point for attaching the spanner system to the elongated vertical member. The inner bracket and outer bracket may also each include an end plate configured to be positioned to abut opposing joist members. The end plates may also include one or more apertures configured to receive a fastener for securing the spanner system to opposing joist members.

The second surface has at least two slide mounting openings and at least one second surface fastening hole. The third surface has a plurality of fastening holes disposed along the length of the third surface. The bracket is configured to fasten to a wall and to an enclosure while permitting the enclosure to also fasten to the the wall. The enclosure is mounted by leveling the bracket and fastening the bracket and enclosure to each other and the wall.

Abstract: Improvements in a bracket is disclosed for mounting an electrical box onto a mounting bar. An electrical box can be preinstalled onto the bracket and clamped onto the mounting bar using wings. Bendable tabs can be articulated to secure the bracket and onto a rail. Fasteners are used to secure an electrical junction box onto the bracket and an additional fastener secures the sub assembly to the rail. The tabs can be unbent for removal. An installer can secure the bracket and electrical box using a screw and adjust the position of the bracket on the mounting bar. The bracket provides a low profile assemble that allows the bracket to be installed between the inner surfaces of stud walls.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a television monitor wall mount is provided that allows a television monitor to be mounted flush against a wall, such as directly against the SHEETROCK, drywall or other wall surface material. When attached behind a wall to a wall stud, the television wall mount serves as a bracket to support the weight of the television monitor that is located on the front side of the wall. The weight of the television monitor is supported by bolts which extend through a mounting plate surface behind the wall and through the wall and into the back of the television monitor that is on the front side of the wall. When tightened, these bolts secure the back of the television monitor flush against the first front side of the wall.

Abstract: Improvements in a bracket is disclosed for mounting an electrical box onto a mounting bar. An electrical box can be preinstalled onto the bracket and clamped onto the mounting bar using wings. Wings on the bracket are biased towards a closed position and can be moved to an open position by squeezing tabs on said wings. A fastener hole on the central body of the bracket allows for installers to preinstall an electrical box onto said bracket. Thus, an installer can secure the bracket and electrical box using a screw and adjust the position of the bracket on the mounting bar.

Abstract: An apparatus for conduit to box unitary support bracket uses a plate. An electrical conduit box has end knockout openings on sides thereof, each end knockout opening having an elevation and size and location. The plate is disposed substantially perpendicular to said end knockout openings and comprising opposing rows of thin, selectively bendable fingers bent towards the knockout openings to support at least one wire carrier in alignment with an elevation and size and location of corresponding end knockout openings. A method of assembling bends tabs on the plate 90 degrees, installs a connector in an end knockout on a side of the box, bends in a direction toward the electrical conduit box opposing rows of a plurality thin metal fingers on the tab, secures the box to the plate, and feeds a wire carrier through the tabs, resting on the metal fingers bent and feeds the wire carrier into the connector.

Abstract: A floor stand system for mounting an electrical box above a floor includes an electrical box mount having a mechanical interface thereon. A set of substantially interchangeable floor supports have mating mechanical interfaces at their upper ends for connecting to the mechanical interface on the electrical box mount. The set of floor supports includes a plurality of floor supports having different fixed lengths. The floor supports are substantially interchangeable so that one of the floor supports having a fixed length suitable for supporting the electrical box mount at a desired elevation above the floor can be selected and connected to the electrical box mount using the mechanical interfaces to create a floor stand suitable for supporting the electrical box mount at the desired elevation above the floor.

One of the plates has a bend line for adjusting the total width of the bracket for mounting on a narrower stud.

Abstract: A bracket secured to a vehicle body is firmly attached to an electrical junction box without causing any loosening. The electrical junction box includes a bracket securing section provided integrally on a casing outer surface and a bracket made of a resin molding material fixed on the bracket securing section by a bolt and a nut. Bolt holes are provided in the bracket securing section and the bracket, respectively. Positioning pins project near the bolt hole in one of the bracket securing section or the bracket. The positioning holes are provided in the other of the bracket securing and the section or bracket to receive the positioning pins. After the positioning pins are fitted in the positioning holes to position and hold the bracket on the bracket securing section, a bolt is inserted into the corresponding bolt holes and is fastened by a nut.

The electrical box has a bottom wall with a sight window with a dimension to enable visual inspection of the indicia on the mounting bracket after installation of the electrical box to the mounting bracket.

Abstract: An electrical box support assembly for mounting an electrical box between a pair of studs is provided. The electrical box support assembly includes, but is not limited to, a pair of telescoping overlapping struts and a pair of engaging tabs detachably coupled with each end of the pair of telescoping overlapping struts. Each strut has a face to which the electrical box may be secured. Each of the pair of engaging tabs includes a first engagement member for primarily engaging a closed face of one of the studs and a side engagement member connected generally perpendicular with the first engagement member. Each end of the pair of telescoping overlapping struts may be detachably coupled at one of two positions on each engaging tab in order to accommodate electrical boxes of varying depths.

Abstract: A mounting assembly and method are provided for mounting an electrical fixture to a ceiling structure. The mounting assembly includes a mounting plate and a cover plate overlying the mounting plate. The mounting plate includes a plurality of strengthening ribs and a plurality of fastener holes for receiving fasteners to mount the mounting plate directly to the ceiling support structure. The mounting plate has a dimension to overlie the support structure and a portion of an electrical box mounted adjacent the support structure to define an open area of the electrical box. Mounting bolts extend downwardly from the mounting plate for attaching to a bracket which supports an electrical fixture such as a ceiling fan. The mounting bolts and the bracket supporting the electrical fixture are cantilevered with respect to the ceiling support. The mounting assembly can be used as a retrofit and mounted over an existing ceiling substrate with screws that can pass through the ceiling substrate into the ceiling support.

Abstract: An electrical enclosure for use in poured concrete construction having a peripheral wall with opposed longitudinally extending walls longer than opposed laterally extending walls and at least one physical support located substantially midpoint along the opposed longitudinally extended walls to resist deflection of the opposed longitudinal walls caused by the hydraulic pressure of concrete poured around the enclosure. The physical support can be a crossbar extending across the opening of the electrical enclosure with the ends of the crossbar fixed to the longitudinally extending walls. The physical support can also be fastening sleeves extending along at least a portion of the width of the longitudinal walls for receiving elongated fasteners which extend into the concrete form thereby resisting deflection of the opposed longitudinally extending walls.
