Abstract: A device for holding a lid to a pot to permit the pouring of liquid from the pot while retaining a food product within the pot, including a pair of spaced apart hook members attached to opposed top edges of the pot and positioned off-set from a centerline of the pot. The hook members each include a horizontal top flange turned inwardly toward the pot, whereby when the pot is moved to a pouring position, the liquid forces the lid to separate from the pot and the top flanges of the hook members to engage the lid to maintain a predetermined pouring gap between the lid and the pot and also to prevent the lid from sliding forward off the pot due to their off-set positioning from the pot centerline.
Abstract: The present disclosure describes an apparatus for moving objects from above that need support at eccentric locations thereof during moving and methods of using the apparatus to move such objects. The apparatus restricts objects from moving relative to the apparatus in multiple directions and, together with the apparatus' support of the objects from below at multiple eccentric locations, provides stability and reduces the possibility of the user being injured or other things being damaged during the object's movement. According to an example embodiment, the apparatus comprises a hand tool having a handle and a plurality of interface members secured to the handle. The handle has an ergonometric shape for comfortable grasping by a user. The interface members depend from and extend outward from the handle to interact with and support an object being moved at multiple eccentric object locations.
Abstract: A foldable water bottle has a base, a folding body and a handle device. The folding body is made of silica gel, is mounted on the base and has a connecting ring, a folding segment and a neck. The folding segment is formed on and protrudes from the connecting ring and has multiple folding rings. The neck is formed on the folding segment and has a spout and two inserting mounts. The handle device is detachably connected to the folding body and has an inserting handle and a lid. The inserting handle is connected securely to the neck and has a handle mount and a grip. The lid is connected to the inserting handle and is used to close an opening top of the neck.
Abstract: A cover-handle assembly for a kitchen vessel comprises a cover element having an outer central support element swingably housing plate gripping means which, in a rest position thereof, adjoin the surface of the cover element and, in a use position thereof, project with a slanted attitude from the cover element surface.
Abstract: A liquid-proof enclosure includes first and second casing members engaging each other to define an interior space for receiving, retaining and protecting an electrical device. Each casing member has a mating flange engaging each other to encase the electrical device. A rib is formed along the mating flange of the first casing member and a corresponding slot is defined along the mating flange of the second casing member for receiving and engaging the rib thereby attaching the first and second casing members together and increasing length of a possible leakage path between the first and second casing members. An opening is defined between the first and second casing members. At least a circumferential slot is defined along a circumferential wall of the opening. A cable retainer retaining a cable forms ribs received in the slot of the opening for attaching the cable retainer to the first and second casing members and to prevent liquid leakage into the enclosure.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cooking system having a conventional style pot with a multi-function reversible top. The system comprises two pieces, a pot and top (with a lid), that can be used individually and collectively to function as a cooking pot, colander, steamer and strainer. The pot functions by itself as a conventional cooking pot. The top functions by itself right-side-up as a colander. The pot and top with a lid functions as a steamer. And, the top, when positioned up-side-down on top of the pot, functions as a strainer. When used as a strainer, the top and pot preferably have engaging handles that allow the top and pot to be held together with one hand, to help avoid dropping food and steam burns.
