When the integrated member is received in the opening in an unlocked orientation, the key portion is oriented in alignment with the keyway opening to permit the key portion to pass through the keyway opening. When the integrated member is received in the keyway opening in a locked orientation, the integrated member is oriented with a locking detent engaging and retaining the integrated member in the locked orientation in which the key portion is prevented from passing through the keyway opening.

    Abstract: A clam shell plastic container includes a rectangular container body with a floor and tapered sides and an integral lid. The container body and lid are thermoformed in one piece and in an open configuration. A first hinge along the side of the container body between the container body and the lid allows the lid to rotate into a closed position on the container body. A tear strip adjacent the first hinge allows a user to separate the lid from the container body to open the container body. After separation the lid is relocked to the container body along the side opposite the first hinge and a second hinge along this opposite side is used thereafter to open the container.

    Abstract: A cover for a pie pan or similar type of pan or plate has a ring and a lid pivotally attached to the ring by a flex joint. A pan is placed into the ring with a lip of the pan resting on top of the ring. The cover is folded over and pressed down onto the ring. Interlocking elements on tabs on the ring and lid engage each other and hold the lid down onto the ring, with the lip of the pan between them. The lid may include inwardly projecting teeth spaced apart on an inside surface of the lid, with the teeth adapted to hold the lip of a pan between the ring and the lid.

    Abstract: A method for compression packaging of a compressible product within a product packaging for commercial distribution and sale includes compressing a compressible product within the product packaging and zipping a gusset located in a sidewall of the product packaging to thereby maintain the compressible product in a compressed condition during commercial distribution and sale. The product packaging includes a base and peripheral sidewall that define an interior containment space in which the compressible product is received. A zipper is located along the peripheral sidewall and secures a gusset in the sidewall when zipped up with the product packaging in a compressed condition. Another zipper is used to secure a lid of the product packaging. The product may be decompressed without opening the product packaging by unzipping the second zipper.
