Abstract: A method for producing a plastic container by internal pressure forming including arranging a hose-shaped preform between the molding dies of a mold, formed having a mold cavity; closing the mold and forming or preforming a container from the preform by internal pressure, wherein a circumferential section of the preform is pressed through a mold gap into a chamber surrounding the mold cavity and is pressed in the chamber against claw pairs having stationary inner retaining claws and movable outer tear-away claws; and laterally moving the outer tear-away claws, causing the circumferential section between the outer tear-away claws and the inner retaining claws to be torn open and the container to be split into two container halves. Also disclosed is a mold suitable for performing the method.

Abstract: A method of roasting nuts comprises placing water and a mixture of nuts and sugar in a roaster bowl, mixing the water and mixture, heating the roaster bowl during mixing to roast and sugar coat the nuts, covering the roaster bowl with a cover after roasting and sugar coating, adding water to a reservoir disposed within the cover wherein the reservoir includes at least one metering hole, flowing through the metering hole, from the reservoir to the roaster bowl, the water added to the reservoir, glazing the nuts during the flowing of water into the roaster bowl from the reservoir, and removing the cover from the roaster bowl after glazing the nuts. The measured flow of water through the reservoir results in well coated glazed nuts and prevents the formation of a large burst of steam, thus protecting the operator against being scalded during glazing of the roasted nuts, as well as providing other benefits.

Different embodiments of the system include a non-cylindrical container component, a removable container edge-protecting lip component that engages an upper edge of the non-cylindrical container, and a sealing lid component that provides an airtight seal to cover and seal the container. The lip component may be stored in the lid component when not in use. In one embodiment, the system provides a non-cylindrical container that may function both as a painting tool carrier and as a resealable paint container.

The lid may be mounted onto the fence via a locking mechanism in a first position and a compressed second position, where the locking mechanism provides resistance against internal upward forces when the BLS has been compressed into a second position. The BLS may be soldered to the PCB while in the first position, and subsequently compressed into the second position after the solder has hardened.

A pull tab extends from outside of a sealing rib that can be inserted into the concave camber. Moreover, there are two tamper-proof structures disposed on the lid. The first is that the first score line has to be poked through, and the second is the second score line needs to be torn off when opening the lid. When either structure is tampered, it could be easily distinguished, which ensures the integrity, safety, and qualities of the food inside the container. With these features plus its sealing effect, the present invention has dual function of tamper-proofing and easy-opening.

A single-use storage device for medical equipment comprises a container portion, for holding one or more pieces of medical equipment, a closure portion, designed to engage with the container portion to form an enclosure around said medical equipment, a plurality of apertures permitting fluid flow through the storage device, and securing means to secure the closure portion to the container portion, the securing means arranged such that once the closure portion has been secured to the container portion using the securing means the closure portion and container portion cannot be separated without permanently disabling the securing means.
