Abstract: A modular storage container including multiple storage compartments and integrated compartment connectors is disclosed. The compartments may be repeatedly connected and disconnected for use as a single multi-compartment container or as separate containers with separate lids. Multiple compartments may be connected together into a single unit for storage, transport, and/or serving. However, the compartments may also be temporarily disconnected to allow heating of a food item without the need for another container, and then the compartments may be optionally reconnected for serving. Any number of storage compartments of any suitable shape and size may be combined in this way.

Abstract: A pocket flask to be carried within the user's pocket having a hollow housing provided with a curved side wall and a bottom wall connected to the sidewall. A first partition wall divides the housing into a first liquid chamber and a second chamber. A second partition wall divides the second chamber into a tobacco chamber and a pipe housing chamber. A pipe is telescopically receivable within the pipe housing chamber and a first cover, which is pivotally connected to the housing functions to move pipe inwardly of the pipe housing chamber against the urging of a spring. The first cover is movable between a first open position and a second closed position to gain access to the pipe and to the tobacco. A closure wall which has a pouring opening, is connected to the housing for substantially closing the first liquid chamber. A cap removably closes the pouring opening.

Abstract: A trunk organizer for the trunk cavity of a police vehicle that forces the orientation of long, stiff items typically carried within the trunk cavity of police vehicles into a transversely extending orientation. The transverse orientation of these items typically found in police vehicle trunks reduces the likelihood of a high speed rear collision driving the items through the walls defining the trunk cavity, particularly the waterfall of the trunk cavity, into the fuel tank. The trunk organizer is preferably formed from high density polyethylene with a forward panel of Kevlar affixed to the front panel of the trunk organizer to provide further penetration resistance. Translucent lids provide a ready inspection of the items without requiring the opening of a compartment. The trunk organizer is sized and configured to fit snuggly within the trunk cavity of a conventional police vehicle and permits an easy removal therefrom.

The second compartment, in turn, tapers at an upper portion thereof to form a mouth. The mouth facilitates dispensing of a second consumable product from the second compartment. The first and second compartments are assembled to one another in a side-by-side fashion such that the spout abuts the mouth. With this configuration, during use, a first consumable product and a second consumable product can be dispensed from the container in close proximity to one another for convenient consumption. In one preferred embodiment, the first compartment contains a volume of milk and the second compartment contains a quantity of cereal.

The partition may be pectinate and integrated with the body member into a single structure. Abstract: A revolveable laundry hamper for individually storing laundry in a plurality of chambers into which garments and items requiring laundering can be separated according to wash cycle required. The laundry hamper consists of a box-like structure having four side doors with fasteners on each door and the underside of the structure to hold a laundry bag open. The entire structure is mounted on a turntable to be rotated to select the appropriate laundry bag for the item to be washed.

Additionally, the fire extinguishing substance containing chamber may constitute a means for extinguishing cigarettes in table ashtrays of an otherwise conventional form.

Abstract: A hand-held carrier for manually carrying parabolic skis and associated ski poles, the carrier having a double open-ended molded plastic receptacle having a bottom wall, first and second side walls extending up from the bottom wall and a partition wall disposed between the side walls. The walls of the receptacle define first and second elongated compartments each sized especially for holding a section of a parabolic ski and its associated ski-boot binding hardware. First and second molded plastic closures are pivotally coupled to opposing upper portions of the receptacle, for respectively closing the first and second compartments. The closures include integral handle sections which come together to form a single carrying handle when the closures are pivoted to close the compartments.

Abstract: A pill dispenser having a tray body with multiple side by side compartments and a lid hinged to the body. The lid in a closed position is secured to the body by a latch mechanism. The latch mechanism includes a tongue having multiple shoulders. A first of the shoulders engages a bar attached to the lid so as to hold the lid in a closed position. The lid can be released and opened only by physical flexing of the tongue each time the bar engages the pair of shoulders, making the device child resistant. The tongue is also pivotal and can be moved to a non-locking configuration for use by the infirm where children are not present. The dispenser lid spans over and prevents access to multiple pill receiving compartments when in the closed configuration thereof.

Abstract: The reagent package includes a container housing section and a container lid that arc sealed together to define one or more inside chambers. An opening in the container lid provides access to a corresponding chamber. The chamber opening is controlled by a valve that is pivotable from an open position to a closed position and vice versa. When the valve is in an open position the container chamber can be accessed through the valve with an aspiration probe and a dispensation probe. The reagent package accommodates a filter screen member and a glass ampoule in the container chamber. The glass ampoule contains one reagent ingredient, which can be a dry powder and the space within the chamber outside the glass ampoule can contain a reconstituting liquid. When the reagent package is ready for use a pressure force is imposed on the outside wall of the chamber adjacent the glass ampoule to crush the ampoule and permit the liquid within the chamber to mix with the dry powder released from the glass ampoule.

Abstract: A microplate assembly comprising a multi-well microplate, a plurality of vent caps and a porous vent film. The microplate includes a frame that houses a plurality of open wells in a rectangular array. Vent caps mount on the microplate to seal and vent the wells. When the vent caps are coupled to the wells, an interior volume is formed in each well. The wells function as a vessel for liquid samples that occupy predetermined spaces within the interior volumes. Each liquid sample remains within its predetermined space for all orientations of the microplate assembly. The vent cap comprises an array of well inserts. Each well insert comprises a sealing plug and a vent tube. A flexible perforated web interconnects the well inserts to each other. The vent tubes are fixed to the sealing plugs and terminate in a vent. A barrier formed from a plurality of nested flaps resiliently mounts on the vent tube to partially cover the vent and help inhibit the evaporation and loss of the liquid samples.

Each of the lips has a threaded external surface. An intermediate wall is positioned between the first and second ends such that a pair of compartments is defined. Each of a pair of covers selectively closes the openings in the tubular body. Each of the covers is adapted for threadably engaging one of the lips. A first cup is positionable over a first of the covers and frictionally engages the first cover. A second cup is positionable over a second of the covers. The second cup has a diameter generally equal to a diameter of the tubular body and is adapted for frictionally engaging the peripheral wall.
