Abstract: A food bowl assembly includes a bowl (12) and a food platform (14) that lies in a lower portion of the bowl. The platform supports solid food and allows grease and other fluids to flow to a lower compartment (34) that lies under the platform. The platform has support surfaces (40) on which food lies, has recesses (42) that lie slightly below the level of the support surfaces and into which fluid drains, and has drain holes (50) in the recess though which fluids flow to the lower compartment. All of the holes lie closer to the vertical axis (16) of the bowl assembly than to the rim (24) of the platform, which avoids fluids spilling out of the holes when the bowl assembly is tipped. The bottom of the bowl or the platform, forms a deflector (64) around a region below the holes, with gaps in the barrier that allow fluid to flow to the periphery of the lower compartment.

Abstract: A portable organizer has a container portion that has a plurality of compartments that are formed by an arrangement of inner walls. The inner walls may be adjustable or statically arranged. A tongue is connected to the container portion that is used to anchor the container portion by fitting between a mattress and box spring or cushion and couch frame, etc. A hinge may be used to connect the tongue to the container portion to aid in storage. The tongue may be attached at an upper portion or lower portion of the container portion to match selected uses. In one embodiment, the tongue is compact and removable for easy and compact storage.

Abstract: The inventive cover-container for self-contained mixing comprises a body consisting of side walls, a bottom and a sealing surface which form the inner space of the body, in which an insert that interacts with the bottom is disposed. The body is provided with a mechanism for joining the body to a vessel stopper ring, the bottom or the side wall of the body is corrugated, and the sealing surface is in the form a film which is hermetically attached to the side walls. The aim of the invention is to design a novel structure of a cover-container which provides aseptic conditions for dissolving or mixing substances in a liquid contained in the vessel and reliably insulating the vessel contents from the environment.

Abstract: A food item delivery apparatus is disclosed, that includes a delivery container, as well as one or more removable shelves stackable within the delivery container, such that each of the one or more removable shelves is configured to be inserted and removed from the delivery container using a finger-gripping mechanism. The one or more removable shelves are configured to be inserted and removed from the delivery container while the food item is resting thereon. At least one shelf is supported by one or more variable-sized support members attached thereto, the one or more support members being perpendicular to a top surface of the shelf, and resting on a bottom of the delivery container or a top surface of another shelf directly underneath the shelf. The delivery container and the shelves may be coated with insulating material to promote heat circulation and to avoid sticking.

Abstract: Multi-chambered containers having peelable seals and methods of sterilizing the same are provided. In an embodiment, the present disclosure provides a flexible fluid container comprising a first chamber and a second chamber. The second chamber is attached to a tube for providing fluid communication from the second chamber to the exterior of the container. The first chamber and the second chamber are separated by a first peelable seal having a channel so constructed and arranged to allow a controlled quantity of fluid to pass therethrough.

The container includes a bottom structure that is displaceable in the interior of the container in a direction in parallel with the container side walls and at least one spindle drive having a vertical screw spindle rotatably mounted in a container side of the container, and a spindle screw nut on which the bottom structure is supported. The bottom structure can be lowered step by step in the interior of the container by the spindle drive.

Abstract: A bellows design collapsible polymeric storage tube. The device incorporates separate flexible plastic disks as segregating spacers that are dropped inside the device creating separate spaces for a plurality of items. The spacers lock into the widest part of the bellows securing them in place. The disks are printable/markable for promotional/informative media and labeling. In a first instance of the bellows receptacle, the collapsible bellows tube consists of two threaded ends and two threaded lids. The lids pop open and have their own separate space(s) that also uses a disk to create a separate segregated compartment. When a lid is empty the top of the lid collapses in upon itself thus saving space when the lid is empty and packed away, likewise the body of the tube collapses and expands as it is filled or emptied of the contents inside in order to save space when it is packed away.

Abstract: The present invention provides a manufacturing method by which a substrate (typically, a TFT substrate) can be installed directly in a treatment apparatus by using a transfer container without shifting the substrate from the transfer container to another container. It is possible to use the container efficiently and transfer different substrates in size with one container. A manufacturing method in which a substrate is directly installed in an electrostatic-protected transfer container by a substrate supplier, and then the container is directly installed in a treatment apparatus by a substrate demander after transferring can be realized, thereby making it possible to transfer substrates such as a TFT substrate. A contamination of a substrate due to particles and electrostatic discharge damage of a TFT substrate can be avoided because a transferring operation is not needed.

Abstract: A method is described for reducing a dead volume of a microfluidic circuit that includes, in one embodiment, a reservoir, an outlet, and a microfluidic flowpath fluidly connecting the reservoir and the outlet. The method includes providing a microfluidic flow component between the reservoir and the outlet for performing a function and in fluidic communication with the microfluidic flowpath, wherein the microfluidic flow component includes a total volume including a working volume and a dead volume. The working volume is a volume necessary for the microfluidic flow component to perform the function and the dead volume is a volume unnecessary for the microfluidic flow component to perform the function. The method includes configuring at least one of the reservoir, the microfluidic flowpath, and the microfluidic flow component to reduce the dead volume, such that the working volume of the component is substantially the same as the total volume.

Abstract: A food package for sliced food products to be maintained with a fluffed appearance, the package including a rigid base member forming a compartment for receiving the food product and a rigid lid sealed to the compartment. Advantageously, the base member includes a bottom wall and side wall portions that are configured to engage the food product to hold the slices in a fluffed arrangement thereof. Preferably, one or more tapered side wall portions hold the food product upwardly toward the lid and inwardly toward a center of the package. In preferred embodiments, the base member and lid provide a rigid-rigid construction of the food package. In preferred embodiments, the food package is also configured to stand-up in a vertical display orientation and does not require the food product be contained within a sealed pouch within the compartment.

Abstract: A sink according to the present invention includes a sink basin having a bottom surface and a top surface with at least one side wall extending therebetween. The sink includes a divider that may be inserted into or removed from an interior area of the sink for selectively dividing the basin into multiple smaller compartments. An electromagnet is positioned beneath the bottom surface of the sink and is attracted to a ferrous material on the bottom of the divider for holding the divider securely when actuated. Channels defined by the sink side wall and other sealing components establish a watertight seal between compartments when the electromagnet is actuated. The electromagnet may be connected to the residential power source and may be activated by a user or, automatically, by a sensor. When the divider is removed, the larger single basin may be used for washing larger items.

The removability of the partitioning structure enables the receptacle to be selectively partitioned into smaller storage spaces than a storage space without the partitioning structure which would occupy the entire receptacle. Use of the partitioning structure would be dependent on the objects sought to be stored by the user.
