Abstract: A paint holder and delivery device comprising a container. A disposable insert fits within the container to facilitate the application of paint with a paintbrush.
Abstract: A container includes a lid member arranged for reception within spaced parallel U-shaped brackets mounted on opposed walls of the container to orient the brackets and the lid in a predetermined angular position relative to contents within the container. The lid structure includes plural rows of parallel ribs for accommodating a paint roller to express paint therefrom.
Abstract: A new and improved pouring attachment for a paint can comprising an arcuate section having an interior surface, an exterior surface, a bottom edge, a top edge, a first side and a second side. The surface of the section is sloped inwardly from the top edge to the bottom edge. A first planar sidewall has an interior surface, an exterior surface,a bottom edge, a top edge, a first side and a second side, the first side of the first planar sidewall being integral with the first side of the arcuate section. An arcuate pouring section has an interior surface, an exterior surface, a bottom edge, a top edge, a first side and a second side. The surface of the section is sloped inwardly from the top edge to the bottom edge. The first side of the pouring arcuate section is integral with the second side of the first planar sidewall. A second planar sidewall has an interior surface, an exterior surface, a bottom edge, a top edge, a first side and a second side.
Abstract: A manipulatable and detachable container clamp adapted to engage an open paint container. The clamp has an elongated body formed into a manual gripping handle and a platform support. A flared brush-cleaning and brush-support platform is fixed to the platform support so as to project away from the handle. A container-engaging clamping bracket having a pair of spaced fingers is fixed to the body with each finger facing opposite sides of the container sidewall when the bracket is seated upon the upper edge of the container so that the platform projects into the container. A manually-adjustable screw is coupled to the bracket for clamping the bracket tightly upon any container engaged by the bracket. One of the bracket fingers is preferably seated in a paint-container reinforcing groove which is commonplace in many paint containers. This seating arrangement enables the clamp to be fixedly secured to the paint container.
Abstract: A lid device for a wide-mouthed container comprises a metallic lid body having an inner margin defining an opening of a predetermined shape, a resinous rim member extending along and anchored to the inner margin of the lid body, and a closure film attached to the rim member to close the opening of the lid body. The lid body is fittable to an open mouth of the container. For opening, the closure film may be peeled off the rim member or torn along the rim member.
Abstract: The specification discloses a removable paintbrush wiper and apparatus holder which can be mounted on the inner rim and outer surface of a conventional paint can. Two outwardly projecting tangs (12L and 12R) supported by a pair of angled arms (20L and 20R), hold the device to a paint can. An elevated primary wiping surface (14) is used to unload excess paint on a paintbrush. Two secondary wiping surfaces (16L and 16R) at right angles in respect the the elevated wiping surface (14) are used to wipe excess paint of the sides of a paintbrush. A vertical surface dam (18) is used to divert subsequent paint residue, caused by the wiping action on the primary wiping surface (14), to flow back into the can. There is also a location for placing painting apparatuses called the apparatus holder (26) open at the top surface and closed on the sides and bottom. The apparatus holder (26) can also be used for soaking a paintbrush after usage.
Abstract: An open topped container (1) for liquids such as paint, which container is provided with a pivotally mounted carrying handle(5), wherein the handle is pivotally mounted substantially off-center with respect to the container body (2), whereby when a user holds the container suspended by the handle (5), at least a major part of the open top of the container (1) is unobstructed by the presence of the handle (5) and the user's hand. A wide pouring channel (9) is provided located so that any paint left on the channel (9) after pouring drains back into the container (1) as the container (1) is subsequently held by the handle (5) in readiness for painting.
Abstract: An open top container attachable to the back of the hand, the container having upwardly directed side walls with adjacent walls having flanges slanting inwardly from the side walls toward the open top.
