Abstract: The invention is an improved ice handling container and methods for using the container. The container includes a bottom wall with upstanding sidewalls terminating in a mouth. A bail having an apex and opposing ends is pivotally attached to opposing sidewalls of the container. The bail has a handle generally at the apex and a hook extending generally outwardly from the bail generally near the apex of the bail for hanging the container with the mouth facing generally upward. One sidewall has a handle generally adjacent the bottom wall and a hook generally adjacent the handle extending generally outwardly and upwardly from the sidewall for hanging the container with the mouth facing generally downward.

Abstract: A universal cap to be placed on standard containers for lip balm and lipstick that contains one or more modules that house therein functional items to assist the user for personal health and safety applications. The cap includes modules that contain space for the inclusion of identifying information, interior space for a flashlight and battery, interior space for an audio alarm, an interior space to house medication, a place for a nail file and a place for a glass breaker along with a flange to allow attachment to a lanyard or similar item.

Abstract: A packaging assembly for car floor mats including a main body portion; at least one support member extending from the main body portion, and a securing arrangement releasably secured to the support member, wherein at least one car floor mat can be retained on the support member when the securing arrangement is secured to the support member, and wherein the at least one car floor mat can be removed from the packaging assembly when the securing arrangement is released from the support member.

Abstract: A portable hand sanitizer dispenser which contains hand sanitizer within an internal cavity, and which includes a dispensing body having tapered left and right sides and a U-shaped opening on a top end thereof, a pivotally attached metal clip across the opening by which user clips the dispenser onto an item, such as a belt loop, and also including a grip pad member on a front side having rows of spaced apart protuberances thereon thereby enhancing the ability to grip the dispenser during use.

Abstract: A storage container includes a jar and a cap removably connected to the jar. The jar has a cavity defined by a first base and a first wall extending upwardly from the base. The cap has an upper portion connected to a lower portion by a connecting member. The upper portion has a second base and a second wall extending upwardly from the second base to define a receiving area that receives an item stored in the cavity of the jar. The connecting member has an opening therethrough to connect the storage container to a support.

Abstract: A bottle-type blow-molded plastic infusion container that can be set in an upright position. When liquid is discharged from the container, almost no dead space occurs in shoulder and bottom portions (required amount of air to be placed in the container to remove residual liquid is less). The blow-molded container has a mouth section (1), a neck section (2), the shoulder section (3), a barrel section (4), and the bottom section (5). The barrel section (4) has a pair of broad side faces (41, 41) and a pair of narrow side faces (42, 42). The bottom section (5) is formed in a shape symmetrical about a longitudinal axis of the bottom section (5) and bent inward in a V shape. Further, the shoulder section (3) has a pair of broad side faces (31, 31) and a pair of narrow side faces (32, 32). In the narrow side faces (32, 32) are formed grooves (33, 33) symmetrical about a longitudinal axis and bent inward in a V shape.

Abstract: A cleaning and storage holster or insert for a body cavity aspirator instrument includes a substantially longitudinal body defining an interior for receiving the instrument. The body includes a distal region having a closed end portion and a proximal region having an opening for receiving the instrument. An instrument support is included in the distal region for supporting the instrument in a position above the closed end portion.

Abstract: The invention described herein is generally directed to a snack or dip or food holder assembly that can attach to bowls, dishes, plates, trays and the like. Specifically, a snack or dip holder is provided that can be removeably attached to a bowl or plate edge.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a trash bin, which is suitable for hanging over a kitchen drawer or cabinet door under the kitchen counter. A particular feature of the trash bin of the present invention resides in the arrangement/relationship between the top rim of the trash bin and the mounting means. The mounting means include at least one over-the-door hook. Each hook includes a top member that mounts on the top frame of the drawer. The top member of the hook is positioned just beneath the top rim of the trash bin, thus, once the mounting means is hung over the top frame of the drawer, the top rim of the trash bin is almost leveled with the counter top, and thus, a user can simply wipe the trash off the counter top into the trash bin without missing any trash on the floor or on the cabinet.

The accessory case has an opening that can be selectively closed by a cover element. A space is provided between the handle and the accessory case for receiving a user's hand when the handle is gripped, and when a user's hand is not gripping the handle, this space allows access to the accessory case.

The cup support assembly is connected at the proximal end of the clamp assembly, and comprises a body portion and a pair of arcuate cup-encircling arms having respective spaced-apart free ends. A pivot pin enables pivot adjustment of the cup support assembly at the proximal end of the clamp assembly, such that the cup support assembly is movable between a desired in-use position depending from the clamp assembly, and a folded stowed position beside the clamp assembly. In the stowed position, the clamp assembly passes between the spaced-apart free ends of the cup-encircling arms and into an area defined between the cup-encircling arms.

Abstract: A hanging condiment container holder is provided including a clip portion for removably attaching the holder to an upper portion of a food package, a loop portion for receiving a condiment container, and an extension wall extending between the clip portion and the loop portion. The clip portion may be contoured to the shape of the upper edge or lip of a food package such as a cup. Various clip portions may be employed for removably attaching the hanging condiment container holder to a food package such as a cup.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment providing one or more improvements includes wig or hair piece boxes for both the efficient storage and display of wigs or hair pieces before sell, as well as providing simple, efficient and effective storage facilities for wigs or hair pieces for use of the consumer. The wig or hair piece boxes include a form which holds the wig or hair piece and preserves the curl, style, and one directional curl of the hair tip end on the wig or hair piece. This avoids the common problem of loss of original curl and style of the wig or hair piece which plagues conventional wig and hair piece boxes.

Bracing members and/or embossed surfaces at the rails and tine receiving channel cover pieces strengthen the covers and direct water runoff Fabric or expansible hinges provide flexible transitions at intersecting sidewall corners. Alternative cover assemblies provide lifting towers, panels with tine receiving apertures or interconnected tension members.

Abstract: A PIM holder for attaching a PIM device having a cable to a rail in a medical environment includes a holster and a clamping device. The holster includes an open end sized to receive a PIM device and includes a cable opening extending from the open end on a side adjacent the open end to a side opposite the open end. The clamping device is sized and configured to attach the holster to a rail. The clamping device includes a stationary jaw secured to the holster and a moving jaw disposed adjacent the stationary jaw. The stationary jaw and moving jaw form an opening that receives the rail in a lateral direction and forms a passage therebetween to capture the rail. An actuator is pivotable between an open position and a closed position to displace the moving jaw to open and close the clamping device.

Abstract: A debris receptacle is removably attachable to an edge or lip of a work surface. A receptacle portion of the device has vertically extending sides and defines a volume for receiving debris swept from the work surface. Panels with clamp arms that are configured to extend over a work surface are pivotally attached with pivot pins to each side of the receptacle portion. The pivot pins also secure helically coiled springs disposed in cavities formed within the sides. The springs provide a biasing force that urges the clamp arms toward clamp surfaces at each side of the receptacle portion, gripping an edge of a work surface. The debris receptacle is thus mounted to receive debris swept from the work surface.

In some embodiments, the magnetic item is a tape measure. In further embodiments, the magnetic item and the universal base comprise interlocking geometry.

Abstract: A self-locking package comprising a sleeve having a self-initializing locking tab and a slidable insert. The sleeve comprises a plurality of panels forming a substantially quadrilateral cross section. The locking tab extends between a top panel and a bottom panel and is offset from corners of the qudralateral. An insert for retaining an item is at least partially insertable within an opening of the sleeve and includes a notch formed in at least one portion of the perimeter of the insert, such that when the insert is properly inserted into the sleeve, the locking tab seats within the notch to substantially prevent relative movement between the insert and the sleeve.

Abstract: A waste cart includes a container having first and second wall portions, and first and second openings defined by the wall portions to receive and support a grab bar. The container includes at least one positioning element to constrain the lateral movement of the grab bar. During assembly, the first end of the grab bar is inserted through the opening in the first sidewall, and the grab bar is pivoted to align the grab bar with the opening in the second sidewall. During the pivoting of the grab bar, the first positioning element is deformed. The second end of the grab bar is inserted into the opening in the second sidewall, allowing the first positioning element to snap back to its original, non-deformed orientation. When the grab bar is installed, the positioning elements are positioned at the outer ends of the grab bar.

Abstract: A foldable package made from one sheet of material where the top portion folds into 3 or more layers. Cutouts in each of the layers line up in a way to make a J-shaped hook. The 3 or more layers fold longitudinally to form a flat tab with a J-shaped hook. The J-shaped hook is then used as a supportive apparatus which allows easy removal of items from a peg.

The tab is extended through the slot and the second fastener part is detachably connected to the first fastener part to attach the receptacle to the panel.

Abstract: A beverage holder for use with luggage having a pair of upwardly extending spaced-apart rails with a handle extending therebetween includes a beverage support member, a pair of spaced-apart elongated arms, and a pair of clips. The beverage support member has an open top and a bottom with an outer wall extending therebetween. The beverage support member is configured to receive a beverage container through the open top and hold the received beverage container. The arms extend upwardly away from the open top. A proximal end of each arm attached to the beverage support member. Each clip is at a distal end of each respective arm. The clips are configured to removably attach to the luggage handle. When attached, the clips are pivotable about the handle to maintain the beverage container in a substantially level position regardless of whether the luggage is in a tilted or a non-tilted position.

Abstract: An inverted bottle holder is described for holding a bottle with a neck upside down inside a container having an exterior wall. The bottle holder includes a clip having an inner wall and an outer wall spaced to accept the exterior wall of the container in between, wherein the clip is formed having a diameter corresponding to the diameter of the container, and a deck connected to the clip and extending into the container, the deck including an aperture sized to accept the neck of the bottle, such that the bottle is held upside down in the container when inserted into the aperture.

The removable trash can liner system includes a liner defining an at least semi-flexible membrane having an open upper portion defining an upper circumferential edge. The removable trash can liner system further includes a liner holder defining a substantially elongated member adapted to be secured along the trash can upper rim. The liner holder includes a clip configured along the liner holder which is adapted to engage at least a portion of the liner upper portion to releasably secure the liner within the trash can along the trash can interior surface.

The first container piece can include a perimeter and a hangable tab, the hangable tab having an opening configured to receive a rod. The hinge connection can be perforated, such that it breaks upon actuation of the hangable tab to open the container system. The second container piece can include a cutout in proximity to the hinge connection and the hangable tab. Accordingly, the cutout can provide clearance for the rotation of the hangable tab beyond the hinge connection. Further, the second container piece can have a perimeter having a shape substantially similar to the perimeter of the first container piece. A substantially oblong flux enhanced magnet may comprise a flux enhancing layer and a magnetic layer. A tether encases the magnet. The tether has a first end configured to suspend the magnet proximal an inside wall of the bottle and a second end configured to extend beyond a bottle opening. The method for securing the bottle includes tethering the magnet proximal a side wall, a bottom wall or a top wall of the receptacle and placing the magnet within an attracting distance to a magnetically attractive surface to secure it thereto. The system includes a retainer comprising at least one magnetically attractive device affixed thereon to attach to the tethered magnet through the bottle and an optional scratch-inhibiting material. The retainer is configured to attach to a user's pants pocket, clothing item or tool.

Abstract: The present invention is direct to an item holding device having a container body and a flexible tail and method of use. The flexible tail, which is repositionable when sufficient force is applied, yet allows the invention to be reasonably fixed once configured, allows a user to attach the item holding device in locations unsuitable for traditional fastening mechanisms. The flexible tail facilitates the positioning of the item holding device within convenient reach of the user by enabling the user to wrap the flexible tail around a static structure or configure it to form a support stand for placement upon a surface. The flexible nature of the tail allows the tail to snugly conform to the shape of the attachment point, keeping the item holding device securely in place.

Abstract: A waste cart includes a container having a wall, with a pocket formed in an outer surface of the wall that creates a first sidewall facing a second sidewall, with an opening formed in both sidewalls. A grab bar has a free-sliding end and a retention end. The free-sliding end is inserted through the opening in the first sidewall, and the retention end is inserted through the opening in the second sidewall. The retention end includes a retainer for securing the grab bar with respect to the second sidewall. In the current embodiment, the grab bar includes a snap element near the retention end and a flange portion between the snap element and the free-sliding end. When the grab bar is installed, a portion of the second sidewall is positioned between the snap element and the flange portion.

Abstract: Several molded, hard plastic cover pieces and attached fabric or hard side wall assemblies are disclosed for mounting over a storage container. One cover piece provides raised channel rails that support a layered sub frame assembly. The sub frame secures fabric or plastic side wall assemblies to the cover piece. Fabric or expansible hinge pieces mount between fabric or plastic panels to provide flexible transitions to facilitate the mounting and removal of the cover piece and/or sidewall assembly. Cross pieces fitted to channel rails define lifting supports to permit attachment or removal of the cover piece from a wooden storage container. Truss pieces formed between channel pieces strengthen and control water runoff. Alternative cover pieces provide lifting towers, panels with tine receiving apertures or interconnected tension members.

Abstract: Provided is a key locator comprising a) a bent rod-shaped first member having opposing first and second end portions and b) a second member that selectively retains keys. The first member incorporates a bent interior region between the end portions. The end portions are not urged against each other and allow the bent interior region to hang from or clasp to an edge. The first end portion substantially permanently and flexibly engages with the second member. In one embodiment, the second end portion is substantially rigidly affixed to the key locator such that container movement necessarily causes key locator movement. In another embodiment, the container is rotatably mounted to the second end portion and comprises a hinge that attaches a first face to the container. The first face moves between an open configuration that exposes an interior portion of the container and a closed configuration that seals the interior portion.

Abstract: A dispensing container includes a selectively removable cap to which a variety of articles may be securely and selectively attached. The dispensing container includes a dispensing body in which material for dispensing is stored. The dispensing body includes a closed end, at least one side wall and an open end through which the material is dispensed. The dispensing container also includes a cap shaped and dimensioned for selectively covering the open end of the dispensing body. The cap includes a first end shaped and dimensioned for frictionally engaging the open end of the dispensing body for secure and selective attachment thereto and a closed second end including a clasp extending therefrom. The clasp includes a first arm and a second arm.

Abstract: A security tag that includes a mechanism for preventing the unauthorized removal of a security tag from its article. The security tag includes a housing having a clamp axis. A clamp is contained within the housing. The clamp is rotatable about the clamp axis from a locked position to an unlocked position. The clamp includes a lock region lockable to the housing, and a release region. The mechanism prevents the security tag from being removed from its article unless the lock region is unlocked from the housing and a force is applied to the release region.

Abstract: A ball throwing device includes a shaft having first and second ends and a ball holder formed on the first end of the shaft. The ball holder has first and second U-shaped pieces that define four curved finger elements and are arranged perpendicular to one another. In one embodiment, the shaft and the ball holder are made of bamboo. A cork handle is formed on the second end of the shaft. The ball throwing device can be combined with a hang card to form a display package. The hang card has a mounting aperture formed therein through which the shaft extends so that the ball holder abuts the hang card.

Abstract: A storage device for retaining an extended length of floating oil boom therein and a method of using the same. The storage device is made from a sheet of material that is foldable to define and surround an interior cavity in which the oil boom is received. A closure mechanism is engaged to secure the folded storage device about the oil boom. A lifting mechanism on the storage device is engaged with a cable extending from a suspension assembly mounted on a vessel for use on a large body of water. The suspension assembly maintains the storage boom adjacent a side wall of the vessel and a distance above the surface of the water until the oil boom retained therein is needed in an emergency.

Abstract: A drum assembly having opposite ends and a cylindrical drum surface extending between the ends, and a central through opening extending between the ends, a support carried in the opening and having an extended position in which a portion of the support projects endwise from the opening and a retracted position in the opening, and there being retention structure associated with the opening to retain the support alternately in positions.

Abstract: In one example, we describe a new structure and shape for the packaging objects, for storage, display, and transportation. For example, it can be helpful for the consumers to test/examine/try-before-buy the object(s). It has an opening/closing mechanism, for the object to be secure inside that packaging, without destroying the merchandise or packaging (by the consumer at the store), so that it can be redisplayed on the shelf (at the store), again. Many examples and variations are given here.

Abstract: A bulk container for storing materials comprises a tank having a peripheral side wall connected to a generally rectangular top wall. A lifting lug is secured to the tank at each corner of the top wall. Each lifting lug comprises a generally L-shaped metal plate having first and second legs. A corner sling adapter is mounted at each lifting lug. Each corner sling adapter includes a stiffener plate having a base connected to upturn sides and a padeye comprising a planar body with a through opening. The padeye planar body is secured to and extends upwardly from the base. Each corner sling adapter is fastened to one of the corner lifting lugs whereby the padeye planar body at each corner of the top wall is substantially in-line with the padeye planar body at an opposite corner of the top wall.

Abstract: A mud pan includes a container having a bottom wall, a mounting structure, a handle and a supporting structure. The mounting structure is connected to the bottom wall of the container and extends downward from the bottom wall of the container. The handle is connectable to the mounting structure to define a connected position and a disconnected position. The supporting structure is connected to the container. The supporting structure is operable to levelly support the container with respect to a surface when the handle is in the disconnected position.
