  • Patent number: 9631398
Abstract: A lock includes a housing and a pivot is located in the insertion hole of the housing and has the first end thereof connected with a slide. A spring is received in the insertion hole, biases the second end of the pivot. When the slide is positioned at a close position, the slide is applied by the resilient force of the spring as to cover the installation recess so as to prevent dust and water from entering the core. When the slide is positioned at an open position, the slide is applied by a force to overcome the resilient force of the spring, and at least one portion of the slide does not cover the installation recess for convenience of unlocking the lock or replacement of the core. The housing includes a positioning member which positions the cover at open and close positions of the slide.

Abstract: A lock includes a housing having an insertion hole in which a pivot is inserted. A slide is connected to one end of the pivot. A spring is located in the insertion hole and applies a first resilient force toward the insertion hole, and a second resilient force toward a direction that the slide pivots. When the slide is located at a first position, the installation recess is covered by the slide to prevent water and dust from entering into the installation recess. When the slide located at a second position, at least one portion of the slide does not cover the installation recess to allow the lock to be unlocked. When the slide located at a third position, the slide is located higher than the first end face of the protrusion and is pivotable so that the installation recess is explored for convenience of replacement of the core.

  • Patent number: 8857646
Abstract: A filter housing having a lid that is mateable with a vessel portion. An arm that is rotationally fixed relative to the housing having threads that mate with threads in a ratcheting mechanism. Rotating the ratcheting mechanism raises the lid because the ratcheting mechanism is fixed from longitudinal movement. A slot in which a pin rides is used to fix rotation, the slot has an aligned portion and an angled portion. The aligned portion is aligned with the longitudinal axis of the arm and the angled portion is angled with respect to the longitudinal axis of the arm. As the arm raises and the pin rides in the aligned portion of the slot, the lid raises without rotation, and as the pin rides in the angled portion the lid raises and rotates.

  • Patent number: 7134385
Abstract: Cooking apparatus, comprising a support structure, a cooking vessel having an opening therein, a cover controlling access to the vessel, and cover actuation apparatus. The cover actuation apparatus pivots the cover, and optionally includes slide structure enabling the cover to slide out of full overlying relationship with the vessel opening to a partially overlying relationship, before the pivoting action occurs. Optional biasing structure biases the cover upwardly from a position overlying the vessel opening. Preferred structure combines both sliding action and pivoting action to displace the cover from over the vessel opening, and to present the cover to the opening for sealing over the cooking vessel.
