  • Patent number: 8286828
Abstract: A storage/transport container has a plurality of walls defining an upwardly open vessel having an upper rim and a generally flat cover panel hinged on one of the walls and having an inner edge. The rim has opposite to one of the walls structure forming another inner edge. The cover panel is pivotal into a closed position with the inner edges juxtaposed, retaining formations projecting generally perpendicularly from the inner edge of the cover panel and oppositely from the other inner edge that fit together in the closed position. Hooks are formed on the edges and positioned so as to be opened directly at each other in the closed position. The hooks normally are spaced apart but, on deformation of the cover panel, hook together and preventing separation of the edges.

Abstract: A clam-shell container system can include first and second container pieces that are hingedly connected. The first container piece can include a perimeter and a hangable tab, the hangable tab having an opening configured to receive a rod. The hinge connection can be perforated, such that it breaks upon actuation of the hangable tab to open the container system. The second container piece can include a cutout in proximity to the hinge connection and the hangable tab. Accordingly, the cutout can provide clearance for the rotation of the hangable tab beyond the hinge connection. Further, the second container piece can have a perimeter having a shape substantially similar to the perimeter of the first container piece. The perimeters can form a substantial seal in combination.

  • Patent number: 7987578
Abstract: An attached lid container has lids that are hinged to the top edges of the side walls of the container. When the lids are closed, the free edges of the lids engage one another to form a joint that interlocks the lids together. The lids are attached to the container at the hinge joints after the molding of the container and lids, while the molded parts are still in the mold press. Specifically, the lids are molded next to the container and then moved laterally to be aligned with the hinge line of the container after the mold cavity is withdrawn. Then, the ejectors push the lids out toward the container. The force of the outward movement causes the hinge parts of the lids and container to snap together. Subsequently a robot arm removes the container from the mold press with the hinged lids assembled on the container.

The longitudinal side parts and the transverse side parts are pivotably mounted on the base part about pivot axes which each run parallel to the base part, so that they can be folded open from a folded-together arrangement, which extends parallel to the base part, into an arrangement which is perpendicular to this and in which they bound the transportation space, and the transportation space can subsequently be closed by the at least one cover part.

Abstract: The invention relates to a container (10) with a container body (12) and a cover (14), with which the container body (12) can be closed on its upper side. The container (10) is embodied as a hood container which has a lower part (16), which can be detached from the container body (12) and is further provided with a recess. The container body (12) has on its lower side a circumferential extruded profile (44), which interacts with an extruded profile (44) on the upper side of the lower part (16), wherein a plurality of bent lever closures are provided for connection between the container body (12) and the lower part (16). By closure of the plurality of bent lever closures the container body (12) can be connected to the lower part (16) such that a seal (62) inserted between both extruded profiles (44) can be compressed by stop faces of the extruded profiles (44) by a specified level.

Abstract: A dispenser having a storage compartment may hold a blister package or other object. The blister package may be slid in and out of the dispenser through an opening. Corner latches pivotally attached to the dispenser on either side of the opening move between a first position and a second position. In the first position, a portion of the corner latches extend into the opening thereby preventing the object from being removed from the dispenser. The corner latches are moved to the second position such that the corner latches no longer block the opening to the dispenser so that the blister package may be removed.
