Abstract: A lid for a container for cooking food, the lid for resting on a free edge of the container, the lid including a covering element, a shaped element and connector for connecting the two elements, the shaped and covering elements configured to allow them to move between: a first closure operating position of the lid, in which the two elements of the lid combine to close the cooking container on which the lid rests, and a second opening operating position of the lid, for allowing venting of the container when the lid rests thereon and to prevent escape from the container. The lid includes at least one thermal actuator, on reaching a first pre-set temperature, for automatically moving the covering element with respect to the shaped element to bring the latter into the opening position, to allow venting of the container when the lid is placed upon it.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for physically protecting an interface on an electronic device having first and second protrusions, each having a surface. The mechanism includes first and second clamping mechanisms, a hinge assembly and a cover plate. Each clamping mechanism has a pair of blocks that are detachably fastenable together. As assembled along the protrusion surface of the device, the blocks form a channel that rigidly engages that surface. The hinge assembly forms a pivotable joint and can be removably attached to the first clamping mechanism to orient the pivotable joint substantially parallel to the interface. The cover plate can be removably attached to the hinge assembly for disposal to swing on the pivotable joint between closed and open positions. In the closed position, the cover plate securely connects to at least the second clamping mechanism.

Abstract: An interlock vessel has an air-tight body having open opposing ends. A portion of the body is designed to fit into a decompression (hyperbaric) chamber, wherein a diver or a patient undergoing a decompression treatment is positioned. The opposing ends are closed by pivotally moveable doors and latching assemblies that retain the door in a closed position until the pressure inside the decompression chamber and the exterior of the chamber is equalized. Both latching assemblies are manually operated.

Abstract: A device to be detachably mounted on the neck of a bottle in replacement of the bottle's screw cap, and which as mounted provides a reversible closure function by which a flow communication to the interior of the bottle is shifted between open and closing modes, the device including a mounting part (1; 1?; 1?) having an internal thread which engages an external thread formed on the bottle's neck, and a handle (7; 7?; 7?) which is journalled in the mounting part for rotation. The handle carries a head (9; 9?; 9?) which in result of rotation of the handle upwards/outwards from the bottle in a vertical plane provides access to the mouth of a canal (15; 15?; 15?) running through the mounting part, and which head further includes a seal (17; 17?; 36) which, in result of rotation of the handle downwards/inwards towards the bottle, is positioned for closing the canal through the mounting part.

Abstract: An apparatus for attaching to an opening of a drum that includes a lid, a base for attaching to the opening of the drum, a circular inner wall formed on the base, a circular outer wall formed on the base and extending between the base and the lid, the circular outer wall being circumferentially spaced about the circular inner wall and defining an open space therebetween, and an exhaust opening formed on an outer surface of the circular outer wall.

Abstract: An animal reward dispensing apparatus for attaching to an animal trainer's forearm, the apparatus having a dispensing tube defined about a longitudinal axis, the dispensing tube having at least a first and second attaching straps for attaching the dispensing tube to the animal trainer's forearm. The dispensing tube also having a first and second spaced apart ends defining an interior cavity, and a spring located inside the interior cavity of the dispensing tube and positioned between the first and second ends of the dispensing tube.

Abstract: A case includes a case body, a case cover and a hinge structure. The hinge structure includes a first joint extended from a rear panel of the case body, a supporting arm having a front biasing surface and a rear biasing surface, and second joint which is extended from the rear wall of the case cover and has a holding slot to define a closed stopping surface and an opened stopping surface. The supporting arm is shaped and sized to slidably fit into the holding slot. Therefore, the supporting arm is slid outwardly from the holding slot until the rear biasing surface is biased against the closed stopping surface to close the case body with the case cover, and the supporting arm is slid into the holding slot until the front biasing surface is biased against the opened stopping surface to open the case body with the case cover.

Abstract: A closure arrangement comprises a hub 314, a head 320 adapted to be disengageable from the hub 314. A davit arm 300 is mounted on a swivel mount 316 provided on the hub 314, and the swivel mount 316 is arranged to allow the davit arm 300 to swivel in a plane. The davit arm is free to move in a longitudinal direction in the plane, and to rotate about the longitudinal direction. The closure arrangement is further provided with an adjustment device adapted to adjust the position of the head 320 relative to the hub 314 in a direction perpendicular to the plane.

Abstract: A handle assembly for use with a trash receptacle having a vertically oriented door in a vertical plane, and a receptacle interior on one side of the vertically oriented door. The handle assembly is made up of a handle body with a center of mass; a first end attached to said vertically oriented door and a second end. The handle body is configured so that said center of mass is located approximately within the vertical plane of the vertically oriented door, so that said vertically oriented door with said attached handle assembly hangs in said vertical plane.
