Abstract: In a method for processing a payment, a seller-end electronic device transmits payment information to a transaction platform, which transmits an authentication code to the seller-end electronic device. A buyer-end electronic device allows the user thereof to input a verification code associated with the authentication code, and to transmit the verification code to the transaction platform. When the verification code is deemed valid, the buyer-end electronic device receives a personal identification number (PIN), and transmits a confirm signal to the transaction platform when the PIN is correct. The transaction platform then communicates with a bank terminal to process a payment, according to the payment information.
