Also a method of inhibiting a person's appetite comprising spraying into the mouth of the person an effective amount of a taste spray which simulates a food spray.

Abstract: An improved fluid infusion apparatus is presented of the type having a power means and a syringe connected therewith. The syringe is comprised, in part, of a piston and a cylindrical body. The improvement comprises a flexible connecting member for connecting the piston of the syringe to the power means, thereby permitting the syringe to be responsive to the power means, even when the two are not coaxially aligned, for the administration of a predetermined amount of fluid at a predetermined rate.

Abstract: A lubrication system including a base with shoulder straps. A motor pressurizes grease received from cylinders having spring urged pistons. The pressurized grease is discharged by a grease gun at the end of a grease hose with a grease gun mounted switch controlling motor operation. The grease cylinders are removably mounted on the base by brackets and straps.

Abstract: The invention relates to a manually operated man-portable sprayer comprising a reciprocating pump the body of which extends through the upper wall of the reservoir, through which it can be caused to slide by a side-mounted actuating lever, said pump being disposed centrally in relation to the reservoir. Force is transmitted from the actuating lever to the pump body by a stirrup-shaped two-branch connecting-rod having its top hingedly connected to the pump body and coextensive therewith, and its two branches partially engaging into undercut reinforcing grooves formed in the reservoir wall on either side of and adjacent to the location of the pump body.

Abstract: A dispenser for applying non-solid, thixotropic, viscous materials -- as, for example, mastic, caulking compound, coatings, paints or heavy greases -- the dispenser being adapted to removably receive disposable, interchangeable, collapsible bag means which contains the material to be dispensed, and including a trigger-operated handle adapted to receive a flexible discharge tube therethrough. Various discharge tips or rollers can be interchangeably attached to the discharge tube. The dispenser also includes a manually operated, compressive means to dispense the needed material in required amounts.

Abstract: A portable self-contained pressure apparatus including a pressurized tank releasably fastened on a backpack carrier for carrying the tank on the back of a user during operation thereof while a handle attachment on the tank and backpack carrier assembly allows them to be manually carried to the point of use. A line pressure control and flexible hose coupling assembly couples the tank pressure to an air pressure responsive load device herein shown as a hand-held spray gun with a feed hopper for applying a texture coating to walls. The line pressure control reduces the tank pressure and affords selective pressure ranges as well as on-off pressure control to the spray gun. The line pressure control and flexible hose coupling assembly are detachable from the pressurized tank when not in use and carried in the feed hopper.
