The housing supports the trigger for pivoting movement between first and second trigger positions. The housing supports the adapter member for sliding movement between first and second adapter positions. The trigger engages the adapter to displace the adapter from the first adapter position to the second adapter position as the trigger moves from the first trigger position to the second trigger position. The adapter engages a valve assembly such that the valve assembly is in closed and open configurations when the adapter is in the first and second adapter positions.

  • Patent number: 9181004
Abstract: Containers are to be mounted with cap having structure usable without removing the cap. Cap with an openable lid of the present invention is that lid is rotated when reactive force against force added on pushing portion 3 reaches from hinge 4 to the lid 2 since radius of rotation of the hinge 4 provided at a predetermined position is smaller than radius of rotation of the pushing portion 3. Further, push button 5 is pushed in connection with opening of the lid since the pushing portion 3 is provided at the position where the pushing portion is adjacent to top edge of the push button 5 at the lid 2 being opened by the hinge 4. Thus, the force reaches the push button 5 through the pushing portion 3, and backward of the push button inclines. This makes it possible to realize a structure of discharging contents of container without removing cap.

  • Patent number: 9060654
Abstract: A product dispenser includes a housing adapted to receive a refill unit having a product reservoir. A multidirectional pushbar is carried by the housing and movable in a plurality of directions to actuate the pump. The multidirectional pushbar may be carried by a collar pivotally secured around a pushbar support member in the shape of a spherical zone. Pivoting movement of the multidirectional pushbar is converted into an actuating force by a transfer mechanism, which may include a vertically movable carriage. In other embodiments, the multidirectional pushbar may include ramped surfaces and may support a carriage having rolling elements. Lateral movement of the multidirectional pushbar causes the carriage to roll up the ramped surfaces and actuate a pump to dispense a product.

  • Patent number: RE48010
Abstract: A pump for dispensing fluid includes a dome portion for storing the fluid received through a pump inlet. The dome portion is movable between a compressed state and an uncompressed state. The pump includes a flexible membrane having a first pliability when a first voltage is applied and a second pliability when a second voltage is applied. The pump includes a first biasing device that applies a first force in a first direction to the flexible membrane. The flexible membrane moves the dome portion from the uncompressed state to the compressed state. The pump includes a second biasing device that applies a second force in a second direction to the dome portion to move the dome portion from the compressed state to the uncompressed state when the flexible membrane has the second pliability. Alternatively, the dome portion moves in the second direction in response to a gravitational force.
