  • Patent number: 10512364
Abstract: A grinder for preparing brewing materials has a main casing, a grinding assembly and an unloading assembly to measure the amount of the brewing powder to unload. The unloading assembly has an unloading motor and a measuring barrel. When the user puts the brewing materials into the main casing, the grinding assembly grinds the brewing materials into the brewing powder. The brewing powder drops into the unloading assembly. When the unloading motor actuates the measuring barrel rotates, the brewing powder is deposited in a partafilter. Therefore, a user can grind tea leaves, Chinese herbal medicine, the petals and so on to have fresh brewing powder. Brewing liquids with the fresh brewing powder keeps the nutrient content and flavor. In addition, the bags for packaging the brewing powder is no longer needed to reduce environmental pollution and packaging cost.

  • Patent number: 8616363
Abstract: Apparatus for stacking sticks of split-firewood has a drum with interior flights as well as a ramp and chute which do not rotate with the drum. The flights partition the inside wall of the drum into a procession of shelves and pockets. Each shelf extends radially between the drum sidewall and an inner edge. The ramp is mounted inside the drum and has an axially extending upper edge disposed to be spaced by a small gap from the shelf edges at about 9 o'clock relative clockwise rotation of the drum. The chute is also mounted partly inside the drum slopes from a top to a discharge end. The chute is mounted relative to the ramp to form a catch zone for sticks sliding off the ramp inside the drum. The chute furthermore extends outside the drum to discharge sticks of split firewood in neat stacks there.

  • Patent number: 5209379
Abstract: A pump spray dispenser with an inner cylindrical tube (2) in the container portion (1) and a piston mounted on the handle (6) is provided with inwardly directed projections (14) about the mouth of the cylindrical tube. During the assembly process, the container parts with tubular cylinders are slipped onto upright mandrels fixed to a conveyor belt or the like. Each mandrel bends the projections towards the interior end of the cylindrical tube and when the container portion is removed from the mandrel, the projections begin recovery towards their original shapes sufficiently slowly to enable the piston to be inserted past the projections without damaging the piston. The projections then return to a still bent position in contact with the piston stem (4) to center and retain the piston assembly.

  • Patent number: 4552460
Abstract: Apparatus and a method for handling a slurry contained in a tank having a slurry inlet and a slurry outlet. The tank has an open top, and a framework on which a plurality of buckets are mounted is located in the tank for rotation about a central axis through a shaft mounted on the upper margins of the tank. The buckets move along a circular path and into the tank to scoop settled particles on the bottom of the tank and then to lift the particles out of the slurry. In one form of the apparatus, the particles are dropped back into the slurry in the tank to thereby eliminate the growth of settled particles on the bottom of the tank to achieve uniform particle concentrations in the slurry. In another embodiment, the apparatus operates as a thickener in which the particles are unloaded from the buckets exteriorly of one side of the tank and carried away by a launder while the liquid in the tank overflows the tank at the opposite side thereof.

  • Patent number: 4049161
Abstract: The ice making and vending machine of the present invention will be seen to minimize to the extreme any ice bridging or fusing within the ice storage bin by virtue of the unique design and relationship of the bin rotor to the configuration of the bin. Additionally, the ice making and vending machine of the present invention will be seen to be extremely positive in operation in assuring that ice cubes are not delivered to the dispensing cavity of the machine housing except during such time as the vend switch is actuated, with the brake arrangement associated with the drive motor functioning to positively position the rotor at the termination of each vend cycle. It will be noted that the brake mechanism will function in two directions so as to not only prevent forward rotation of the rotor at the termination of a vend cycle but will also prevent rearward rotation as might occur when the rotor is subjected to certain loading conditions due to the quantity and orientation of the cubes within the bin.
