Abstract: A device dispenses dosages of a substance in powder- or paste form contained in a supply container, when a head (1) of the device is connected to the supply container. The head has a housing with an outlet opening (107) of circular cross-section and a delivery- and closure element (100). The outlet opening and the delivery- and closure element are arranged on a central lengthwise axis (15) of the head. The delivery- and closure element rotates relative to the housing about this axis and is arranged for translatory displacement relative to the housing along the axis. The delivery- and closure element is cylindrical in its fundamental contour shape. A closure portion (101) thereof closes off the outlet opening. A delivery portion (102) is adjacent to the closure portion and delivers substance that is to be dispensed. A shaft portion is adjacent to the delivery portion. A conveyor body (103) on the delivery portion conveys substance to the outlet opening.
Abstract: A weighing hopper includes a tubular main body having an upper end opening constituting a loading port and a lower end opening constituting a dispensing port and a gate provided on the main body swingably in such a way that the gate opens/closes the dispensing port, wherein the main body and the gate are formed by bending components after joining the components by diffusion.
Abstract: A rotary valve meters the flow of particulate material from a supply source into a pneumatic conveying system and includes a central rotor rotatable within a cylindrical housing. The interior surface of the cylindrical housing is formed with grooves extending from pinch points at the inlet opening to facilitate the passage of particulate material past the pinch points without being trapped between the rotor vanes and the housing. The grooves are preferably formed in a configuration that has an increasing depth from the proximal wall to the distal wall, and preferably is configured with a spiraled surface shaped to increase the depth of the groove channel to a rounded end chamber at the distal wall. The groove channels can be oriented in alignment with a triangular ridge, in a circumferential direction perpendicular to the direction of movement of the rotor, or perpendicular to the angle of the triangular ridge.
Abstract: A dispensing apparatus for gravity feeding of a dispensable product includes containing means and dispensing means. The containing means is adapted to contain the dispensable product and is operatively connected to the dispensing means whereby the dispensing means includes a chute means. Rotation of the chute means can cause the dispensable product to be able to be dispensed.

Abstract: A package for flaked and/or granular, consumable material includes a container having a bottom surface and sidewalls that transition through a funnel shape to a dispenser chute terminating in a container opening. A rotating dispenser wheel disposed in the dispenser chute includes a plurality of fillable compartments, and the wheel has a fill position, wherein one of the compartments is filled with contents contained in the enclosure, and a dispense position wherein the contents are released through the package opening following a predetermined rotation of the dispenser wheel. In the preferred embodiment the dispenser wheel has four quadrants defined by panels extending outwardly from a central hub. Two opposing quadrants may define fillable compartments, whereas the other two quadrants may define non-fillable compartments. The dispenser wheel is contained within a holder disposed in the dispenser chute.
Abstract: A dosage-dispensing device has a drive unit and a receiver for a dosage-dispensing unit. The drive unit has a drive shaft. The dosage-dispensing unit has a delivery orifice with a closure element that is disposed in the delivery orifice. The closure element is coupled to the drive shaft when the device is in an operating state. The closure element provides the delivery orifice with an aperture cross-section that varies between a closed position and a maximally open position. To couple the drive shaft to the closure element and to open the delivery orifice, the drive unit linearly advances towards the dosage-dispensing unit. A closure spring holds the closure element in a closed position up to the point of complete coupling. To prevent premature opening of the delivery orifice during the coupling process, the drive shaft has limited linear mobility in a direction away from the dosage-dispensing unit.

Abstract: Method and device for metering granular materials which comprises a least one dispensing element, driving means arranged to control the dispensing element, sensing means designed to detect the amount of granules delivered by the dispensing element, and a program control unit designed to control the control means and disable it as soon as the amount of granules delivered by the dispensing element has reached a predetermined amount.
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing particulate matter includes a hollow elongate body having sidewalls extending between opposite first and second ends. First and second end seals seal the first and second ends respectively. The first end seal has an orifice through which the particular material, when stored in the body, is dispensed. A baffle is mounted within the first end, generally abutting against one side wall of the body. The baffle at least partially occludes the orifice and forms a pocket between the orifice and the baffle. A convoluted dispensing flow path is thereby formed for dispensing the particulate material from the body, around the baffle and out of the dispenser through the orifice.
Abstract: A hand-operated device for measuring, dispensing and storing of powder, granular and grain materials, having filling and discharging/storing positions, comprising: a container wherein the material is stored and a measuring and dispensing unit attached to the container.
Abstract: An automatic fish feeding apparatus includes a housing that has a bottom wall and a peripheral wall. The bottom wall has a feed opening extending therethrough. A funnel is mounted in the housing. The funnel has pour opening therein that is unaligned with the feed opening. A conveyor belt assembly is mounted within the housing and positioned beneath the pour opening. The conveyor belt assembly includes a conveyor belt extending over the feed opening. A motor is mechanically coupled to the conveyor belt assembly for selectively rotating the conveyor belt in first direction such that an upper portion of the conveyor belt moves toward the front wall. Fish food may be positioned in the funnel such that the fish food is positioned onto the upper portion of the conveyor belt. The fish food falls through the feed opening when the conveyor belt is rotated. A control actuates the motor.
Abstract: A product dispenser which includes a main housing and a second housing. The main housing contains a pivot arm that closes an electrical switch via a tension spring for producing a desired sound. The pivot arm is operated by a push button which functions to raise a scissor jack which in turn raises a conveyor tube in which a product has been loaded from a product reservoir. The conveyor tube is provided with a slide door that prevents discharge of a product from the reservoir. The conveyor tube also includes a push rod that contacts a pivotable character when the conveyor tube is raised. The push rod pushes the character over so it appears that the character is pouring a product from a container. At the same time the product moves from the conveyor tube to an exit tube. Then the movements are reversed to a rest position from which they started.
