Abstract: The present invention provides a discharge mechanism has a drive unit that moves a rod reciprocally, and a discharge unit including a liquid chamber allowing the rod to pass therein and a valve seat communicated with a nozzle, the nozzle discharging a liquid mixed with solid particles with an operation of moving the valve seat and a tip of the rod relatively away from each other. The discharge unit includes an inflow path through which the liquid mixed with the solid particles flows into the liquid chamber, and an outflow path through which the liquid mixed with the solid particles in the liquid chamber flows out. The inflow path and the outflow path are connected in a V-shape, the liquid chamber is disposed in a valley portion of the V-shape, and the valve seat is disposed at a lower end of the V-shape.

Abstract: Embodiments of lost motion foam pumps are disclosed herein. One exemplary embodiment includes a liquid chamber, a liquid piston movable in the liquid chamber, an air chamber and an air piston movable in the air chamber. The air piston is linked to the liquid piston. A connector is linked to the air piston or the liquid piston. The connector includes an engagement member for connecting to an actuator of a foam dispenser. Movement of the actuator in a first direction moves the liquid and air pistons to contract the liquid chamber and the air chamber. Movement of the actuator a first distance in a second direction does not move the liquid piston or the air piston; however, continued movement of the actuator a second distance in the second direction moves the liquid piston and the air piston and expands the liquid and air chambers.

Abstract: A sectional liquid dispensing (lotions, creams, soaps, cleansers, etc.) container that includes a finger actuated pump assembly which extends a dip tube near the bottom of a container. The container has three individual components to form the complete assembly. The upper section of container has been designed to contain a tamper evident closure member; mold incorporated at its lower most edge. The lower section (base); containing a closure member mold incorporated onto its top edge, is designed to snap fit into upper section of container. The lower section is approximately one third the height of container or less. The lid cover snaps onto the bottom surface of the lower section, using the tamper evident closure member. The usage of these closures provide frangible edges for easy removal of locking tear bands; which allow for separation of components, while also providing evidence of any product tampering.

Abstract: Dispensers, refill units and pumps are disclosed herein. An exemplary refill unit for dispensers includes a container with a cap secured thereto. A piston shaft having a piston is located through an aperture in the cap. A pump chamber is located within the neck of the container. The piston is movable at least partially within the pump chamber. When the piston is located in the neck of the container, the piston creates a seal with the neck. The piston is movable within the container between a first position creating a seal with the neck of the container and a second position wherein the seal with the container is broken to allow liquid to flow into the pump chamber. The pump chamber includes an outlet. Movement of the piston in a first direction compresses the pump chamber and movement of the piston in a second direction expands the pump chamber.
