Abstract: The present invention provides a lotion pump, comprises: a nozzle head; a plunger connected with the nozzle head, in which an upper one-way valve is disposed; a container cap which is engaged with a mouth of a bottle; a housing, its upper end is connected to the container cap, and on its lower end there is a lower one-way valve; and a spring, its lower end abuts against the bottom of the housing, and its upper end abuts against the head of the plunger; characterized in that, the diameter of an upper portion of the plunger is larger than that of a lower portion of the plunger, thereby a step is formed at the position where the diameter is changed, said step forms a valve seat for said upper one-way valve. The lotion pump of the present invention can be realized by a very simple structure, minimum parts and a very low manufacturing cost. While greatly increasing the productivity, it can obtain good sealing and leak-proof performance.

Abstract: A manually operated personal care pump, wherein a twisting motion is converted into a linear displacement that compresses the fluid in the accumulator. Pumps of this type may typically dispense between about 30 and 1000 ?L of product per dose. The removal of the conventional button actuator at the top of the pump, allows the aesthetic intent of the design of the package to be carried all the way to the top of the package. It also, enables the top of the pump to serve as a customizable product applicator.

Abstract: Manual piston pump having a lockable dispensing head, having a cylinder, an inner locking sleeve forming a cylindrical passage for a hollow piston rod, one end of this extending into a pump chamber of the cylinder and the other end carrying the dispensing head, which is provided with an outer shaft section. A spring presses the piston rod outwards in relation to the cylinder, into a rest position, and in opposition to the spring the piston rod may be lowered by pressing on the dispensing head to dispense substance. To block the dispensing head at least one projection can be placed in engagement with a recess, and the recess has a latching lug arranged on a resilient web articulatedly mounted at the end side and can be latched as a joining partner to the projection.

Abstract: A pump-equipped container (10) includes a tubular container body (11) that is made of a sheet material having flexibility and a pump device (13) that includes a pump body (15) and a nozzle portion (14). A one-end section of the container body is closed off, and the pump device (13) is attached to the other-end section of the container body. The pump body (15) has an outer-circumferential-surface section (16) that comes into close contact with an inner circumferential surface of the other-end section (11b) of the container body (11). The pump device (13) is attached to the other-end section (11b) of the container body (11) in such a state that the outer-circumferential-surface section (16) is covered with the container body (11) by being brought into close contact with the inner circumferential surface of the other-end section (11b) of the container body (11). The container body (11) is formed using a sheet material having a gas barrier property.

  • Patent number: 8308029
Abstract: A dispenser has a reservoir to hold a fluid, in at least one embodiment a viscous cosmetic, with a pump and a set of groove protrusions attached integrally. The dispenser fits within an outer casing that houses the reservoir and has a set of grooved passages with a flat upper section, a flat lower section, and a slope in between which seat the set of groove protrusions. The dispenser is raised and lowered within the outer casing with a hollow rotating body that has a set of straight grooves that simultaneously seat the set of groove protrusions so that when the hollow rotating body is twisted on top of the outer casing, the dispenser can move up or down. The hollow rotating body also has a notch to seat a button and nozzle actuating top when the dispenser is rotated to its lowest position. When the button and nozzle are depressed, fluid is dispensed through the nozzle. More or less fluid is dispensed depending on how high the dispenser is raised with respect to the outer casing.

Abstract: A device and method are disclosed for driving an electromagnet for operating a pump. The electromagnet includes a primary winding and a moving element that is attracted within the primary winding when an energizing current is higher than a first threshold value. The moving element lets a liquid dose into an external hydraulic circuit depending on the a travel of the moving element. A control logic unit detects an energizing current to provide the energizing current to the primary winding until the energizing current assumes a second threshold value, depending on a value of the liquid dose to let into the external hydraulic circuit. The second threshold value is higher than the first threshold value and not higher than a third threshold value in correspondence of which the moving element arrives at a stop.
