  • Patent number: 10799082
Abstract: An infused spray mop is disclosed that has a novel cleaning solution arrangement where a dispensing bottle contains a capsule fixture that receives a small infusion capsule filled with a cleaning solution concentrate. The dispensing bottle is filled with water, and through the action of a capsule actuator the infusion capsule releases the concentrate into the water contained in the dispensing bottle, creating a cleaning solution for dispensing and use with the infused spray mop. The infusion capsule of concentrated cleaning solution stores easily, has less waste and cost than one time use containers that attach to a mop, and are not prone to spills and the time consuming process of mixing cleaning solution from a bottle of concentrate and water.

  • Patent number: 9334088
Abstract: A dispensing device for a multi-component composition comprises a plurality of collapsible bag compartments (109, 110) located within a housing (101). The compartments extend adjacent each other and have cross-sectional areas that are proportional to an intended volume mixing ratio for the multi-component composition. Each compartment has an opening (123) that communicates with a device outlet at one end of the housing, and an opposite, sealed end that is exposed to pressure from a compression device (103). The compression device acts to collapse the compartments and dispenses the components through the device outlet. The components have different viscosities. The chamber of a less viscous component has a flow control regulator (111) to compensate for extra pressure exerted on that compartment by an adjacent compartment containing a more viscous component.

The plunger device is rotatable within the housing to permit a follower extending from the plunger device to ride in the helical channel to move the plunger longitudinally in the housing. As the plunger moves upwardly within the housing, a preselected amount of liquid is drawn into the housing. When the follower is positioned in a vertical channel associated with a desired dosage level, the plunger may be forced downwardly to deliver the desired dosage through the passageway and out of the dispenser.

  • Patent number: 5887757
Abstract: A rotatably adjustable angled nozzle for attachment to dispenser modules which deposit melted thermoplastic materials such as melted adhesives on a substrate. The nozzle has a nozzle body permanently and rotatably attached to a connector nut which threadably engages an outlet nipple of an adapter fitting on a fluid dispenser module and is tightened securely to sealingly seat against the outlet end of the nipple. The nozzle body has a transverse bore in communication with an axial bore and having one end in communication with a nozzle tip and orifice. Rotation of the nozzle body changes the angle of the transverse bore and changes the direction of the stream of fluid emitted by the nozzle tip. The nozzle body can be rotated relative to the nut with a single tool without rotation of the nut. The transverse bore can be at right angles to the axial bore or can be at any other desired angle of inclination.

A pulling on a tab rotates the arm to action, in puncturing the cartridge and a spring then locks the visual display in position. The pin is provided with a cone-shaped head which prevents any re-arming of the arm from changing the display to show that the cartridge is full, when in fact the cartridge has been spent.

Abstract: A dispensing device comprises a body having a chamber sized to accommodate a volume of solid halogen source therein. The chamber comprises an open end and a closed end. A number of apertures extend through the body and into the chamber near the closed end. A control member comprises an open end and a closed end separated by a wall. The open end of the control member is rotatably mounted over the closed end of the chamber. Openings extend through the wall and are positioned at locations that correspond to the apertures so that alignment of the openings with respective apertures form dispensement ports. The ports has a degree of closure that can be precisely controlled by rotation of the control member about the body for dispensing the halogen solution to the water. A cap is releasably attached to the open end of the chamber to form an air and water-tight seal therebetween, creating an air head within the body when placed into the water.

Abstract: A twist-to-open dispensing closure has a cap which threads directly onto the container neck. A bead at the bottom of the cap skirt snaps over a flange on the container neck for primary retention of the cap on the container neck. An upwardly projecting lug on the cap bead cooperates with a pair of axially extending walls on the container flange to give the user, while unthreading the cap, a sense of approaching the open, dispensing position of the closure and the cap locks in this dispensing position against further rotation, preventing accidental removal of the cap by snapping the cap bead over the container neck flange.

  • Patent number: 5284273
Abstract: A rotatable cap and modified container neck. Depending from a top panel of the cap is an annular exterior wall and a smaller concentrically positioned interior wall with a space between the two walls sized to receive an upper and thinned portion of the container neck with a tight fit providing a fluid seal. The interior wall of the cap contains a dispensing notch which is aligned straight across with a dispensing opening through the exterior wall. With rotation, the cap raises and lowers on threads relative to the container. When the cap is lowered, the container neck blocks the dispensing canal between the notch in the interior wall and the dispensing opening in the exterior wall of the cap. The top rim of the container neck abuts the interior cap ceiling between the two walls to form a seal. When the cap is raised, the container neck is in part below the notch in the interior wall and the dispensing opening, and thus the dispensing canal is open.
