    Abstract: A fluid storage container includes a container body provided with an interior space for storing a fluid and an opening for guiding the fluid from the interior space to the outside. A lid covers the opening of the container and is provided with a discharge opening for the fluid. The discharge opening is configured so that the discharge opening is normally in a closed state, sealed by a plug, but is set to an open state when extracting the fluid from the container body. Thus, outside air and impurities are prevented from entering the container, which prevents the degradation of the contents of the container and thereby drastically increases the lifespan of the contents.

The device has an operation button and a cylindrical piston that move as one, as well as a ball valve that rests on a seat. The ball valve opens as the cylindrical piston retracts after an actuation to allow more fluid into the upstream passage chamber. A downstream passage with a valve for dispensation fluidly communicates with the upstream passage through a hole. As the cylindrical piston and its seal slide over the hole, the discharge from the downstream passage stops.

The auto-seal valve adjusts the pressure of the liquid supplied from the liquid tank to the droplet ejection head to a predetermined pressure. The auto-seal valve has a valve body that is movable between a closing position and an opening position in correspondence with the difference between the pressure of the liquid in the droplet ejection head and the pressure of the liquid in the liquid tank. The valve body is arranged such that the direction of acceleration that produces force capable of moving the valve body from the closing position to the opening position differs from the direction of acceleration of the ejection unit moving in the two-dimensional direction.

    Abstract: A one-way valve device comprises a valve seat arranged in the neck of a container that extends transversely across the interior of the neck and defines a plurality of passage openings. A pin-like projection is formed on the valve seat and extends axially to the exit opening. An elastic seal is held on the valve seat and comprises a sleeve-like section which surrounds the projection of the valve seat with the exception of its end section which rests on the end section of the projection. Applying pressure to the contents of the container axially displaces the sleeve-like part of the seal relative to the pin-like projection, so that the contents of the container can exit. In the closed position, an annular projection of an outer cap firmly presses the sleeve-like section of the seal against the projection of the valve seat, so that no container contents can exit.
