Integral With Container Walls Patents (Class 222/572)
  • Patent number: 11940317
Abstract: A filter device and methods of use thereof are provided. The filter device may include a pitcher for removably engaging with a base in fluid communication with a fluid source. The pitcher may include a magnetic float assembly, and the base may include a sensor, e.g., a Reed switch, for detecting when a magnetic float of the magnetic float assembly is within a detectable range of the sensor. Upon detection of the magnetic float within the detectable range by the sensor, a controller of the filter device may instruct a pump to pump fluid from the fluid source, through a filtration system of the filter device, and into the pitcher. When the pitcher is full of fluid, the magnetic float will be out of the detectable range of the sensor, such that fluid will stop being transferred from the fluid source to the pitcher.

Such a nozzle is a liquid pouring nozzle constituted by fusion-joining its base end portion to an inner surface of a soft package bag main body at a side portion of the package bag main body through a sealant layer as an outermost layer, in which front and rear laminate films comprising a uniaxially oriented or biaxially oriented base film layer and sealant layers sandwiching it are fused to each other at a surrounding portion other than the base end at a posture of opposing one sealant layers to each other.

Abstract: A vessel for dispensing a fluid contained therein includes a bottom surface, a side wall extending upwardly from the bottom surface and terminating at an open upper rim, two or more spouts extending outwardly from the side wall and being disposed along the open upper rim and arranged for simultaneously dispensing the fluid from the vessel in use, and one or more raised rim portions. The or each raised rim portion is located between a group of two spouts of the two or more spouts and is adapted to inhibit a flow of the fluid over a central portion of the open upper rim located between the spouts of the group of two spouts in use. Advantageously, fluid can be dispensed from the two or more spouts simultaneously into two or more drinking vessels, thereby saving time when preparing more than one of the same drink.

Abstract: A vessel for culturing of cells is disclosed. The vessel is capable of exhausting substantially all liquid material from the vessel's internal volume through an outlet port. A flange incorporated with the outlet port is utilized as a flow diverter for removing liquid media from internal surfaces of the vessel. The flange also engages the vessel body so that the flow of a liquid medium is directed outward from the internal surfaces of the vessel through the outlet port. The top surface, flange base, and planar surfaces of the flange further assist to redirect surface tension of the fluid toward the port.
