Abstract: A combination cap hanger and visor press includes pivotally connected spring loaded gripping members, adapted to receive a cap visor between them and curved in the direction appropriate to the cap visor. The curvature of the gripping members and the force of the spring combine to press the cap visor into a desired shape. Several alternatives for hanging the device and cap are disclosed.
Abstract: A cap shaping and drying apparatus (10) for caps (100) having a crown (101) and a bill (102); wherein, the apparatus (10) includes: a suspension unit (11); a bill capturing unit (12) operatively associated with the suspension unit (11) and adapted to captively engage the bill (102) of the cap (100), and a support unit (13) connected to the bottom of the suspension unit (11); wherein, the support unit (13) is configured to support the interior of the crown (101) of the cap (100).
Abstract: A form-maintaining insert for a cap which underlies the crown of a cap in face-to-face relation and provides tension in order to resist wrinkling or creasing of the crown so that the rear wall of the cap may be folded inwardly thereby reducing the space occupied by the cap.
Abstract: In order to maintain the shape of a folded garment, and to hold it in the folded position, there is provided a display device comprising a first support element adapted to extend across the shoulders of the garment at the back, a second support element adapted to enter the neck of the garment in the area of the shoulders so as to hold the garment in position, and a pair of bars about which the sleeves may be folded so as to lie generally parallel with the sides of the garments and with each other. The support element also includes a pair of clips or latches which retain a lower marginal portion of the garment when the latter is folded up. For particular effectiveness in maintaining the shape and ease of folding, there is preferably also provided a generally rectangular frame comprising side frame elements and a bottom frame element which assists in the folding up of the lower marginal portion.
Abstract: A shirt-type garment having a turn-down collar and a central row of buttons is folded longitudinally and transversely folded into approximately rectangular shape with a button at the back of the folded garment near a lower transverse fold. A cardboard panel having a width and length approximately equal to the width and length respectively of the folded garment, a tab at its upper end of a size and shape to fit under the garment collar, a central hole large enough to receive a button spaced from the lower end of the panel and a narrow slit extending down from the hole almost to the lower end of the panel, is placed on the back of the folded garment so that a button is received through the hole in the panel.
Abstract: A former and carrier for maintaining the shape of a baseball glove placed within it, which comprises an integral, molded plastic clam shell-like body which is closed upon the glove, maintaining pressure upon it during carrying and storage.
Abstract: A convenience device for a motorcycle helmet formed of pivotally interconnected flexible structural elements or members which unfold from a compact storage condition into encircling relation about the helmet, to thereby bound a compartment in which the helmet can be safely stored during non-use, and which can be pad-locked or otherwise attached to the parked motorcycle.
Abstract: A device for preserving the shape of a visored uniform cap, or the like, is of compact size to fit in pocket of the user. It is formed of at least two elements of rigid material movable longitudinally from pocket length to cap length while held together laterally by one portion seating in an undercut portion of the other. Three rigid, dovetail-slidable, elements permit extension to three times the length of the compacted device. Leaf springs fitting in spaced recesses along the members lock the device at selected lengths. In use the device is at sweat band level within the cap.
