Abstract: A multi-looped ski-pole strap arranged to be releasably disconnected from the pole and/or the skier's wrist under adverse conditions, the strap comprising an elongated, flexible, soft strip of material defined by first and second section members which are interconnected by a longitudinal, stretchable, elastic band member, providing a flexible predetermined length of strap, wherein one end thereof is formed with a small loop so as to be releasably attached to the pole adjacent the pole handle thereof, and wherein the other end is arranged to provide an enlarged releasable loop for releasable attachment around the skier's wrist by means of two opposing, cooperating, fastening-sheet-material members.
Abstract: A sling and pouch assembly for attachment to a carbine, without requiring existing sling swivels and without modifying the carbine. The sling assembly includes a front swivel having a hook which fits beneath the existing barrel band of the carbine. The rear swivel is attached to one side of a cuff which fits around the stock adjacent the butt plate. The cuff assembly includes one or more pouches for storing ammunition or the like. The cuff assembly has a skid-resistant inner surface for retention on the stock of the carbine.
Abstract: The invention relates generally to carrying slings adapted for temporary attachment to, for example, rifles and shotguns. More particularly, the sling, according to the present invention, consists in a single, intergrally molded element of flexible, resilient material having end portions adapted to engage respectively, the stock and the nozzle of the firearm, and to be maintained in elastic engagement with the firearm by means of a common strap member.
Abstract: A shoulder-supported golf club carrier formed from a single flexible strap curved to engage the shoulder of the user, the ends of the strap containing endless loops allowing the adjacent portions of the strap to extend loosely through the loops to form free running nooses in which golf club shafts are releasably securable. A stabilizing member is fixedly secured to the strap a fixed distance from each end of the strap. Self-releasing means in the form of elastic bands are connected to the loops and the strap so that the bands urge the strap through the loops to loosen the nooses when the weight of the carried clubs is removed.
Abstract: A shotgun butt cup comprises an elongated cup-shaped pad for receiving the butt portion of a shotgun or the like stock. The butt cup is secured to a strap for placement around the shoulder of the user so that the same gun placement and alignment can be maintained on each shot.
