Abstract: A baby carrier has two strap loops, which are interconnected and arranged to extend around the two shoulder areas of the wearer, with each strap loop having a first part and a second part. A carrying pocket is mounted to the strap loops and has a front piece at the strap loop, and a seat part is adjustably attached to the respective strap loop by a lower connection device. A first part of the respective strap loop is connected with the lower connection device. The second part of the respective strap loop is connected with the first part on a level with an upper second connection device. Regulation of the size of the baby carrier according to the child's length is solely carried out by regulating the seat part so that the lower second connection device is always situated immediately below the child's arms.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to infant support garments configured for supporting and maintaining an infant against a wearer of the garment. In one exemplary embodiment, the garment provides a first pocket suitable for placement and securing of an infant. The garment further provides a second pocket that is adjustable to provide further securing and support of the infant. In one particular exemplary embodiment, the garment further provides a third pocket for added securing and support.

Abstract: An attendant-assisting baby walker that allows an attendant to remain upright while comfortably helping a baby to practice walking is provided. The attendant-assisting baby walker includes an open-top body suit with attached right and left support straps. The body suit includes both a torso-encircling component and a crotch component. The crotch front and back attach at or near the lower front and lower back edges of the torso-encircling component, respectively. The torso-encircling component is configured with a zipper, allowing fast and easy placement and positioning of the baby. The support straps are preferably adjustable to accommodate attendants of varying heights. Optionally, the torso-encircling component is configured with a width-adjustment mechanism, such as one or more cinches to improve the fit.

Abstract: An infant carrier comprises three interconnected loops of fabric, the three interconnected loops comprising a first loop, a second loop and a third loop. The first and second loops are each configured for being worn over a respective shoulder of a wearer, and the third loop is configured for being worn about the waist of the wearer. Abstract: A harness is provided for transporting an injured, incapacitated or disabled individual. The harness is designed to enable a single user to transport a person on their back, thereby freeing up the hands of the user while evenly distributing the weight of the person being carried. The device comprises panel having a proximal section, a mid-section, and a distal end. The panel includes first and second pairs of interconnecting straps. The first pair of interconnecting straps is located along the vertical plane of the proximal and distal ends of the harness, whereby the distal end of the panel is capable of folding upward and being connected to the straps of the distal end, thereby securing an individual therein. The proximal end also comprises a second pair of securement straps, whereby the second pair of straps wraps horizontally around the individual to further secure them within the harness.

Abstract: An infant carrier and implement storage assembly provides for comfortable and safe carrying of an infant and necessary implements needed for caring for the infant. The assembly includes a pocket having a front panel, a rear panel, a closed bottom end, an open top, a first side, and a second side. The first side and second side each extend between the bottom end and the open top. A pair of leg apertures extends through the front panel proximate the bottom end of the pocket to receive legs of an infant positioned in the pocket. A first strap is coupled to the rear panel of the pocket for coupling the pocket to a person. A first side closure and second side closure are each coupled to and extend along opposite side of the pocket to allow use of the pocket in an open position as a changing pad.

The first loop of material and the second loop of material may be connected in an upper back region of the wearer. First and second handholds may be provided at the shoulder area of the first and second loops of material. The child carrier may have positions to attach accessories such as a water bottle, small enclosure for storage, and the like. In a first embodiment, a rigid or semi-rigid elongated platform having a width adapted to permit a child to stand on the platform may be suspended from the back of the shoulder harness by flexible straps, where the platform may be compact folding to allow the entire child carrier to be stored in a small pouch.

The carrier has two loops 1, 2 joined together by a connecting device with an optional sash. The method of carrying the child or animal involves wearing the loops 1, 2 and placing the child or animal in the loops 1, 2 in a variety of positions. In certain positions the child is carried vertically on the front of the user's torso and either faces the same direction as the user or faces inward toward the user's torso; or the child is carried vertically on the user's back facing toward the user's back. In other positions, a child or animal can be fully or partially cradled in the loops 1, 2. In another position, the child or animal is slung in the loops 1, 2 and carried against the user's hip or at the front of the user's torso. The connecting device allows the user to adjust the position of the loops 1, 2 for comfort and back support.

The infant carrier is adaptable to support an infant in a forward facing position or a rearward facing position. Abstract: A baby nursing and carrying device, specifically one that allows a mother to switch breasts when breastfeeding a baby while still remaining covered and while still supporting the baby. When not in use for breastfeeding purposes, a mother can use the device for easily carrying the baby without strain on the mother's back and without having to support the baby with her hands, thus allowing the mother's hands to be free to do other things.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for securing a child to a wearer in a first arrangement and for securing a child to a chair in a second arrangement is provided. According to one embodiment, an apparatus includes a base panel having a first edge, a second edge, and opposing third and fourth edges. The apparatus also includes a crotch panel having first and second securing devices and attached to the second edge of the base panel, where the securing devices of the crotch panel are configured to wrap around the back portion of the chair and fasten to each other. The apparatus further includes a waist panel attached to the second edge of the base panel such that the base panel is configured to wrap around the waist of the wearer in the first arrangement and to wrap around the seat portion of the chair such that the child situated within the apparatus is unable to stand upright in the second arrangement.

Abstract: Disclosed is a child-carrying device designed to help a wearer support a child, baby, infant, or toddler with their arms and accommodate a variety of holding positions. The child-carrying device includes a dual-shoulder harness, a rigid bar assembly including a rigid bar, and a hand/wrist support assembly slidable along the rigid bar. The rigid bar assembly is secured transversely between frontal strap portions of the harness. The movable hand/wrist support assembly can freely move along a portion of the bar toward on either side of the front of the wearer's rib cage, and optionally rotate about the bar. The device allows the wearer to support a child with their arm using minimal exertion.

Abstract: A baby carrier with an adjustable back plate comprises a main body, a back plate, a belt and a belt adjustment mechanism. The main body has a bottom wall, two long side walls and two short side walls. The back plate is pivoted on the bottom wall for support baby-occupant in a selected inclination. The belt has a distal end affixed to one side of the main body and an adjustable length for passing across underneath the back plate for retaining the back plate in the selected inclination angle. Abstract: A combination of a vest and a versatile, adaptable bag allows a person to comfortably carry articles, even while physically active. The vest is contoured to the shape of a person's body, limiting the jostling of the vest and integrally attached bag as the person moves. One advantageous feature of the convertible bag is that its size can adapt to the desired contents: the upper portion of the bag acts either as a flap for the lower portion, or as a vertical extension of the lower portion when the bag contents are more voluminous. Further, the vest portion sits high on the chest of the person wearing the vest. This increases comfort to the person by distributing the weight better, and reduces sweating, particularly during physical activity such as riding a bicycle.
