Abstract: The present disclosure provides a quick-switching waist buckle for a tool bag, including: a female component and a subcomponent fixed to the female component, the female component is a detachable buckle structure, the female component is fixed to the belt, the detachable subcomponent is fixed to the female component and used for fastening the tool bag. The fixing method between the female component and the belt can ensure that it will not separate from the belt, and the pressing unit can prevent the female component from sliding on the belt. The female component is fixed by pulling and fastening between the front and rear side plates for easy disassembly from the belt when needed. The front side plate on the female component and the fixing plate on the subcomponent can be quickly fixed by blind insertion.

The securing mechanism also includes an attachment mechanism that is configured to attach the securing mechanism to the computing device. In various embodiments, the securing mechanism is attached to the computing device at a point below a center of gravity for the computing device.

Abstract: Retractors and vests having retractors are disclosed, wherein the retractor can be attached by an attachment mechanism to a web system on the vest. An accessory can be attached to a line within the retractor, and the line can be extended from the retractor housing during accessory use. When the line is extended from the housing, the retractor housing rotates so it aligns with the extended line. This alignment of the housing and line reduces stresses on the line, which extends the reliability and lifespan of the retractor. Further, a retraction force can retract the line back into the retractor housing when the extension force is released. The retraction force can be strong enough to prevent the line from extending from under weight of the accessory. The retractor can also minimize the dangle length of the retracting device to the attachment point to minimize movement when not in use.

The case has a front side, a back side and a perimeter edge extending therebetween. The front side is substantially open. A grip is coupled to the case. Abstract: A duck or game call organizer includes a band to be worn on the duck hunter's body and several retractors located along the band. Each retractor provides a line to connect a respective call device so that the user may select a call device, extend it from the band and operate it, and release it. The retractor then retracts the call device to the band. The band may provide a cradle for each retractor to orient or align the call device in a predetermined position when it retracts.

The support members support the equipment holder against a wearer's torso or limb. The extensible tether is attached to the carrier is attached to the equipment item. Abstract: A ski harness has a back panel with connected shoulder straps that a person wears. A flap is connected to the bottom edge of the back panel, and to left and right pocket points on the back panel sides near the bottom edge, so the bottom portions of the flap and back panel form a pocket. The flap extends upward beyond the pocket points, but is not connected to the back panel above the pocket points, so the flap can fall away from the back panel. A release strap is connected to the top edge of the flap and to the user's shoulder straps to hold the flap against the back panel, and the release strap has a quick release fastener. Skis can be placed between the flap and back panel such that the bottoms of the skis are in the pocket, and the release strap holds the middle of the skis against the back panel and within the ski harness. The skis can be quickly released and dropped by unbuckling the quick release fastener on the release strap.

Abstract: A decorative handkerchief deploying device comprises a wrist strap, a handkerchief assembly, and a spring retraction mechanism. The wrist strap is designed to be worn around a user's wrist. The handkerchief assembly is made of an absorbent material and is intended to be used primarily to control sneezes or coughs. In use, the user grasps a knob portion of the handkerchief and extends the handkerchief outwardly. The spring retraction mechanism allows the handkerchief assembly to be retracted back into a “ready” position on the bracelet.

Abstract: An attachment device secures attaching a handheld device, such as a mobile phone or tablet. The device has a first connecting element connecting it to the handheld device and a second connecting element for securing it, e.g. to a beltloop, handbag or user's wrist. A tether cord is stored in a housing, may be withdrawn from the housing, and has a free end connected to one of the first and second connecting elements with the other connected to the housing. A retraction device, such as a spring, in the housing retracts the tether cord into the housing, A locking element may be provided for locking the tether relative to the housing. The spring can be strong enough to take the full weight of the device with the phone, while preventing the tether cord from being pulled from the housing, to prevent the handheld device from being dropped, lost or misplaced.

Abstract: In an object holding device, it is possible to prevent loosening of a cord-like body for holding an object without requiring any user's special operation. The object holding device includes a fixing belt (3) wound on a plastic tank (2), a male buckle (9) provided at a fixing belt, a reel (4) having the fixing belt wound around and urged to rotate in a winding direction of the fixing belt and a reel housing (11) connecting with a male buckle. When the male buckle is connected to the reel housing, a rotation of the reel is restricted at least in a counter-winding direction of the fixing belt.

Abstract: An extendable and retractable earpiece cable assembly for mobile communication or sound devices including a reel housing integrally formed with or detachably connected to a casing for protecting a mobile electronic device. The reel housing includes a reel mechanism around which the earpiece cables are removably wound. The reel housing includes a flexible wall that is located adjacent an actuator in the reel housing, the actuator operable to retract the earpiece cables into the reel housing. The earpiece cables are extendable from and retractable into the reel housing. Each of the earpiece cables have one end attached to an earpiece and each of the earpiece cables have a second end attached to a connector plug to electrically connect the earpieces to the mobile electronic device. The casing or the reel housing also supports a carrying clip that allows a user to attach the mobile communication or sound device and earpiece assembly to an article of clothing or other accessory item supported by the user.

Abstract: A low-profile retractable cord system in which a line is attached to a pair of retractor mechanisms located in the sides of an article to be carried (such as a briefcase, a purse, a handbag, suitcase, tote, bag, knapsack, sports bag, gym bag, etc.). The line is high-tensile braided line threaded out through eyelets which are offset inwardly and downwardly from the upper corners of the article to be carried. This way, the line and shoulder pad attached thereto lie flat along the carried article. Various retractor mechanisms are shown, including an opposed pair of coil-spring-biased reels, opposed independent pulley mechanisms, or a common pulley mechanism. An alternate embodiment employs a single retractor mechanism and line for a single loop-handle is also shown.

Abstract: The hydration pack apparatus for a bicyclist herein described includes a hydration fluid container that is removably mounted to a bicycle. Hydration fluid is transported from the container to the bicyclist via a flexible tube with one end connecting to an outlet on the container and the other end terminating at a bite actuated valve. The tube is routed on and mounted to the bicycle in a novel fashion. The cyclist, with the brief use of one hand, is able to easily access the bite valve and tube to retrieve hydration while continuing to ride the bicycle and maintaining a neutral and ergonomic posture. Retracting reel assemblies are used to automatically return and hold the tube in a stored position on the bicycle while not in use. The hydration pack can be equipped with additional features allowing for convenient storage and retrieval of nutrition supplements and for secure storage of other accessory items commonly employed by bicyclists.

Abstract: A releasable attachment apparatus has multiple components that allow for easy storage, deployment and detachment of small portable items carried on the apparatus. In one embodiment, the apparatus has a retractable unit having a housing inside of which are a reel, a spring coil biasing rotation of the reel, and a tensile member carried on the reel. The housing has a female opening that fittingly receives a connector so that there is minimal swivel action in the connector and thus minimal strain on the tensile member when the tensile member is fully retracted in drawing the connector to a stored configuration with the retractable unit. The apparatus also includes a fastener that is adapted to carry the small portable items and is removably attached to the connector. The apparatus also includes a locking switch which is movable between a neutral position that allows rotation of the reel and a locking position which locks the reel against rotation.

Abstract: A retaining apparatus for a tool or accessory includes a first and second hanger each having a first and second end. The first ends each include an attachment member securable to a wearer. A leg strap includes a fastening device to allow the leg strap to be opened and closed and secured around the thigh of a wearer. The second ends of the hangers are attached to a leg strap. The first hanger is spaced from the second hanger along a length of the leg strap.

Abstract: An earphone protector device includes top and bottom compartments partitioned by and releasably attachable to opposite sides of a central partition member. A passage through the partition member is sized for insertion of earphone cords, wherein the corresponding earphones are located on the top side of the partition member and the earphone plug is located on the bottom side of the partition member. When used in conjunction with a portable media player, the earphones and earphone plug may be extended through slots located on each corresponding compartment, thereby limiting the amount of slack in the earphone cords during use. In another embodiment of the device, the central partition member does not include a passage and the device may be used for separately storing complimenting articles in the two compartments.

The keeper mainly comprises a housing formed by a shell (12) and a base (14), a spool assembly (16) controlled by a spiral spring (18) and a ratchet mechanism consisting of a ratchet plate (32) in the spool, a ratchet bead (20), and a straight slot (50) in the base, a clip (22), and a length of cord (24) with a bob (72) securing a strap loop (90). The shell has a cord port (28) and is rotatable independently from the spool so that the cord remainder is adjustable even after the cord is fully retracted by the spring. The strap loop ties a personal portable device directly through its strap holder or the like. The keeper is fully operable through the cord dragged by the portable device that is normally held and operated by one hand.

The adjustment mechanism provides a tactile response to the user to indicate whether the fastener is adequately engaged with the clothing of the user. The haptic or tactile technology implemented in embodiments provides an indication of the success of the engagement. No secondary visual or physical inspection is required to determine engagement. Based on the positioning of components of embodiments when in a closed position, the user is given a tactile response regarding the engagement with the user's clothing.

Abstract: Disclosed is a tape roll support device attachable to a wearer's belt. The device comprises a belt connector element and an arcuate roll support member. The belt connector is an elongated strap or hoop adapted to accept a wearer's belt and secure the assembly thereto. The tape roll support member connects to the base of the belt connector and comprises a closed loop and compressible member having an open interior and a teardrop configuration. The member is compressed and fed through the open interior of a tape roll, whereafter the member is released to return to its original shape, supporting the roll along its length. Several tape rolls can be stacked in a horizontal and suspended configuration, whereafter each roll can be successively removed for deployment by the user.

Abstract: A harness (10) for reducing the load on the arms of operator working with a pole saw or pole hedge trimmer at operating positions at angles particularly between 10 to 105 degrees from a vertical line, in which the power tool (1) is suspended in a strap (31) extending from a front portion (12) of the harness (10), through at least one fairlead (6) provided on the power tool (1) and to a rear portion (11) of the harness (10). The strap (31) is included in a tool balancer (30), which includes a spring loaded reel (32) for the strap (31) and is attached to or preferably integrated with a chest plate/buckle (14) in the harness (10), and which permits locking of the reel (32). The at least one fairlead (6) includes a hook (8) for easy hooking of the power tool (1) onto the strap (31) and unhooking of the same therefrom.
