Abstract: Apparatus transportable by an exercising person, for maintaining a liquid drink within one-handed reach while the person is exercising, includes a container for the liquid drink, an adjustable belt for fitting about the person's waist, a holster connected to the belt, for releasably retaining therewithin the container, and a cradling web extending between the holster and the belt, connected thereto at respective web extremities but being arcuately spaced therefrom along a middle portion of the web.

Abstract: A tool and tool holder assembly includes a tool and a tool holder. The tool has an enlarged portion and a neck portion adjacent to the enlarged portion. The tool holder includes a hollow sleeve. The sleeve has a receiving opening, two side openings, and two elastic arms extended from one end of each side opening. Each elastic arm has a pushing surface and a retaining surface. When the tool passes the receiving opening, the enlarged portion abuts against the pushing surface such that the elastic arm expands. When the neck portion abuts against the retaining surface, the at least one elastic arm retracts to firmly secure the tool.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to structures that are adapted to facilitate the retention, storage, and transport of arrows. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, for example, an arrow retainer is described that includes a resilient portion having a plurality of passageways extending therethrough for retaining a plurality of arrows therein. Each passageway is resiliently expandable upon insertion of an arrow to maintain the position of the arrow. In another embodiment of the present disclosure, for example, an arrow storage system is disclosed that provides an efficient and secure means of storing and transporting arrows. It is contemplated that the presently disclosed arrow retainer and arrow storage system may be used in conjunction.

Abstract: This is knife sheath combination lock assembly configured to minimize foreign elements from interfering with the operation of the lock assembly. The lock assembly can be used for both fixed blade knives and foldable knives. The locking mechanism for securing the knife to the sheath, the locking mechanism including; a lock assembly, and a spring attached to the lock assembly, wherein when the knife is inserted into the sheath, the lock assembly secures the knife; and wherein the spring has a first spring area distal a second spring area, the second spring area adjacent the lock assembly, and the first spring area adjacent the sheath.

A hinge interconnects the inner and outer cups at the closed bottom end of the chamber. The hinge is configured to accommodate swinging movement of the outer cup relative to the inner cup between a closed position at which the sides of the article received in the chamber are tightly confined between opposite interior surfaces of the inner and outer cups, and a release position deflected outwardly from the closed position to accommodate removal of the article from the chamber via its open upper end.

Abstract: This invention is carrying device to aid a person with a large flat portfolio or pad of paper. It is made of, but not limited to, bent steel, with a handle which is separate, but attached to the steel at the top by holes in the handle. It makes it possible for a person to carry a large flat item that would otherwise not be able to be carried under the arm, because of the size of the object and limitation of the length of an arm. The portfolio or pad sits in the cupped section of the carrier, and the handle is held in the hand of the user. The portfolio or pad is supported against the body naturally, and sits in the cup of the lower section of the carrier.

Abstract: Devices and methods are provided for detachably securing cans for use in plumbing, painting, construction, and home improvement. The devices are configured for mounting a structure such as a ladder, scaffold, bench, tool box, saw horse, table, railing, pipe, wood, lumber, metal, or plastic support or other object and further configured for detachably securing cans, such as cans containing PVC glue or primer for a plumber's use. In one device, the securing members have two arms configured to be arranged in an open state for receiving the can with substantially zero insertion force. In that device, the arms have end portions with latching members configured to join together in a first engagement position with the can. In a closed state, the latching members are in a partially overlapping configuration that pulls the arms tightly around the circumference of the can and thereby supplies a compression fit with high pull-apart strength.

Abstract: Tool holder devices are provided, which are designed to hold tools having spring clip mechanisms. In one aspect, a tool holder device comprises a guiding portion and a mounting portion. The mounting portion is adapted to engage a spring clip of a tool for mounting the tool. The guiding portion is adapted to guide a spring clip towards the mounting portion as a person slides the tool from the guiding portion to the mounting portion while maintaining contact between the spring clip and the guiding portion.

Abstract: The object of this disclosure is a tool retaining and carrying device where the tool to be carried has an elongated handle, and a head connected to the handle. The device has a head receiving portion that is generally configured to substantially encase and protect the head portion of the tool. A connector portion is provided and is operatively configured to rotate about a lateral axis and reposition the holder about a lateral axis. There is also provided a handle retaining portion configured to engage and retain the handle portion of the tool. The entire apparatus can be attached to a user by way of a belt or similar structure.

Abstract: A knife sheath is provided. In various embodiments, the knife sheath includes an automatic swing-away retention strap that includes at least one biasing device. The biasing device is adapted to automatically pivot a detachable distal end of the retention strap about a fixed proximal end of the retention strap to swing the retention strap from a fastened position to an open position.

Abstract: The invention is a defensive retainer bottle combination. The bottle contains a defensive spray that immediately immobilizes a person when sprayed upon at the upper extremities of the person. The retainer is made of molded plastic and has upper and lower plates with upturned lips to retain a bottle placed there between. The retainer further has upper and lower springy retainer clips that assure a sure retention of the bottle within the retainer until an emergency requires the use of the bottle whereby a hard pull on the bottle by a hand will dislodge the bottle and make it ready for use. Once the bottle is filled with a defensive fluid. The bottle is inserted into the retainer with a top screw cap first and is then securely caught between the retention clips. The quick restraint includes a mechanical blocking element located in the inner cavity to engage a portion of the handgun adjacent the ejection port to inhibit withdrawal upwardly prior to rearward movement of the handgun. A second mechanical blocking element is also provided adjacent the rear of the trigger guard that is biased into a first position to prevent rearward movement of the gun and a second position that allows for rearward movement of a gun when the second blocking element is moved by pressure on a thumb or finger ledge. Abstract: This invention teaches a multi-purpose bottle holder that is suitable for securely transporting water and beverage bottles over long distances or during vigorous exercise programs. The bottle holder can be supported either by an adjustable shoulder strap, or around an individual's waist. The bottle holder comprises an elongated, cylindrical body having a closed bottom and an open top, which define a cavity therein for receiving a bottle. The bottle holder has an expandable front pocket containing a top flap with a securing device. The bottle holder also contains a first securing assembly on one side and a second securing assembly on the other side. The first securing assembly contains a first D-shaped ring and a key holder clasp. The second securing assembly contains a second D-shaped ring.

Abstract: A movable blocking member is pivotally mounted to the holster and movable between a first position where ratable motion of the hood is blocked and a second position where rotatable motion of the hood is allowed. The hood is rotated to allow a handgun to be removed from a holster. The hood must be depressed downwardly prior to rotation. In one aspect of the block the blocking member prevents rotation of the hood after downward motion of the strap. Alternate embodiments of the block provide a blocking member positionable to prevent the initial downward motion of the hood. Detents and detent recesses are provided to secure the blocking member in a desired position.
