Abstract: Fastening patches with fastening material (VELCRO, 3M DUAL LOCK) on both surfaces each include a column with outwardly extending tabs. Fastening patches secure to a backing layer and the tabs of fastening patches may secure to one another to form loops for securing items. The backing layer may include fastening material for securing to an inner surface of luggage. The arrangement of the tabs may correspond to the MOLLE or PALS standard. Fastening patches may include smaller anchor tabs at the top and bottom of the column and be secured to luggage without stitching.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for carrying a battery of a portable communication device. The battery carrier includes a body, a carrier sealing surface, and a wiper. The carrier sealing surface engages a battery seal while the battery is positioned in the battery carrier. The wiper is positioned on a support surface of a battery receptacle in the body. The wiper is aligned with battery contacts of the battery. The wiper wipes the electrical contacts when the battery is inserted into the battery receptacle.

Abstract: A holder for holding an electronic device includes a frame and a harness pivotably connected to the frame. The harness has a pair of parallel elongated bars and at least one bracing member extending between the elongated bars. The frame has one or more side tabs for retaining an electronic device within the frame. A holder for holding an electronic device has a retaining member including a plurality of retaining tabs; and a harness member rotatably connected to the retaining member and rotatable between a stowed position and an inclined position. A holder for holding an electronic device has a harness having two parallel elongated bars; a frame having a base member and two parallel arms each having an opening therein; and a pivotable retaining member pivotably connected to the parallel arms. The retaining member releasably holds the electronic device. The elongated bars are slidably inserted into the openings of the arms.
Abstract: A carrier apparatus for holding an object such as a film canister is disclosed. The carrier comprises a flexible elastic body having a ring portion adapted to receive and hold the object therein, an eyelet portion having an aperture therethrough and an elongated flexible tail portion. The tail portion has a free end and a plurality of linearly spaced enlarged nodules thereon. The tail portion is sized to pass through the aperture in the eyelet portion. The nodules are sized to elastically deform and frictionally pass through the aperture in said eyelet portion when the tail portion is pulled through the aperture. In use, the free end of the tail portion may be bent around a support structure such as through a button hole and passed through the aperture through the eyelet portion.
Abstract: An article holder having adjustable loops comprises a foundation piece having a slot therein for receiving a looped strip of flexible material therethrough and locking structure comprising a member having greater width than the slot, positionable beneath the slot, for frictional engagement with the looped strip and through the looped strip when the member is beneath the slot.
Abstract: A hanger attachment for use with a knife holder having an attachment loop to be hung from a trousers' belt comprises a support member having a groove receptive of the belt therein, and a hook member detachably mounted on the support member for removably supporting the attachment loop of the knife holder.
Abstract: A camera hold steady strap composed of elastic stretch fabric having a certain amount of "give" which acts as a shock absorber when a hook having a base pivoted to the lower end of an adjustable loop formed by a portion of the strap is connected to the user's belt with the so pivoted base of the hook located behind and slightly above the top of such belt. Thus, when the strap is looped over the belt top, as when the camera falls or depends below the belt, or the camera is pulled away from the user by a camera snatcher, the hook is locked on the belt by the strap overlapping the belt top. The strap also serves as an elastic hold down link to the user's belt, for the camera, when carried by the user's camera neck strap; so that the "give" in the elastic stretch fabric permits the user to jog, etc. without damaging the camera. The "give" in the strap also enables the user to take pictures with the camera either horizontal or vertical without having to adjust the strap length.
