Abstract: A metal holster for allowing a magnetic doorstop to be held in place so that the holster can be attached to handtrucks. The magnetic doorstop can be triangular wedge shaped with at least one exterior side portion having a magnetic surface. The holsters can be made from aluminum and have a metal portion inside for attracting the magnetic doorstop, or the holster can be completely made from a magnetically attractable metal. The holster can be rectangular box with an opening in one side, and a string bent tab inside for further keeping the doorstop within the box. The box can include a ledge portion such as a pin across the opening. An expandable clip allows the holster/box to be attached side legs and members of the handtruck. Another embodiment takes advantage of a pre-existing side leg and cross-member cavity in the handtruck.

Abstract: A work-order clipboard is shown which can be suspended or mounted on the door window of a vehicle such as an automobile door window. The clipboard has a writing surface and an oppositely arranged, weather resistant pouch. Once mounted on a vehicle window, the writing surface of the clipboard is located within the vehicle interior and thus protected from the elements. The oppositely arranged pouch is positioned on the exterior of the vehicle window and can be used to store car keys or other objects in a convenient fashion.

Abstract: A scoring board mounting arrangement includes a mounting frame fixedly mounted on the main rod member of a golf cart, a scoring board covered with a hinged cover plate and having a front end pivoted to a front end of the mounting frame, a coupling member coupled between the scoring board and the mounting frame and moved between a first position where the scoring board is closely attached to the mounting frame, and a second position where the scoring board is lifted from the mounting frame and retained in a horizontal position, and retaining means provided at the mounting frame to hold the coupling member in the second position.

Abstract: An accessory for an automobile having an armrest structure or console intermediate the driver seat and the passenger seat includes a device adapted to cover the armrest structure. It is fabricated from cloth, leather, synthetic leather or other suitably pliable material. A top portion of the device rests atop the armrest structure while a side or skirt portion extends downwardly from the top portion alongside the armrest structure. One or more upwardly opening pocket arrangements on the side portion hold personal items (e.g., a beverage container, a pair of eye glasses, a mobile telephone, a pencil, a pen, a tape recorder, a calculator, a camera, a wallet). One forwardly opening pocket arrangement on the top portion holds a pad of paper and another holds business cards. The top portion of one embodiment includes a first leaf adapted to hold a laptop computer, a second leaf adapted to hold the pad of paper, and a third leaf that covers the pad of paper.

Abstract: Holsters for supporting clipboards to cross-braces on hand trucks. A first version includes a rectangular box having a longitudinal slot for receiving the clipboard therethrough, the box has a solid base for receiving the bottom edge of the clipboard and interior bent metal tab for locking the clipboard within the box. A spring clip couples the box to an existing cross-brace on the handtruck. A second version has a second longitudinal slot in the bottom of the box so that the clip board passes through both the top and the bottom slots. Another version has a top box and a bottom box pivotally attached to one another by two parallel plates. The top box has a through-hole shaped longitudinal slot for allowing the entire clipboard to pass therethrough and the bottom box has an interior base for supporting the lower edge of the clipboard. A spring clip attaches the top and bottom boxes to a cross-brace on the handtruck.

Abstract: A motor vehicle window visor attachment that when affixed to visors will provide operators of vehicle with a handy place to store and log personal information pertinent to operator and geographic area where vehicle is most generally operated. A plastic pouch for storage of important papers, a writing instrument, advertising, a map, and an area on attachment that erasable notes may be written.

Abstract: A business card dispenser, mountable on an exterior surface of a vehicle used by a business person, stores business cards or other promotional materials and is accessible to prospective customers located in the vicinity of the vehicle so as to permit the prospective customers to remove promotional materials from the business card dispenser. The business card dispenser preferably includes 1) a base mountable on the vehicle, e.g, by adhesive strips and 2) a card holder mounted on the base and receiving the promotional materials. The card holder is preferably removably mounted on the base to permit its removal, thus preventing theft or damage to the card holder. The card holder also incorporates measures to protect the cards from the elements. Indicia preferably are provided on the vehicle in the vicinity of the business card dispenser to draw prospective customers' attention to the business card dispenser.

Abstract: A portable collapsible door stop and holsters for supporting door stops and for attaching the holsters to hand trucks. The preferred embodiment of the door stop includes two main rectangular plates hingedly attached to one another at one end. Third and fourth plates hingedly attach beneath one of the rectangular plates having their opposite ends which are received in recessed grooves in the upper surface of the other main rectangular plate. The collapsible door stop has a side mounted clip for holding the door stop in a shirt pocket. The holsters include open topped boxes wherein the angled portion of wedge shaped door stop are inserted therein. Hinges formed from coiled springs or bent metal strips compress and fixably hold the door stops inside of the box. Expandable side clips allow for the holsters to be attached to the legs and bars of a hand truck or dolly. The boxes can be sized to allow plural door stops to be positioned therein. The collapsible door stop and the holsters can be formed from aluminum.

Abstract: A novel dashboard organizer (10) for mounting on the dashboard of a vehicle such as an automobile, boat or airplane provides security and ready access for various items such as pens, pencils, calculators, rulers, letter openers, maps, notes, or turnpike tickets. The organizer has a base (20) that attaches to the upper surface of the vehicle dashboard, and approximately conforms to the general shape of the dashboard. The body (30) of the organizer is attached to the base such that the body is held in a substantially vertical position. The forward-most portion (32) of the body is arranged so that it comes in contact with the vehicle's windshield, and the remainder (34) of the body is arranged to provide storage (42, 44, 46, 48) for one or more of the above mentioned objects. When mounted in proper position on the vehicle dashboard, the organizer lies generally perpendicular to the long axis of the dashboard, thus dividing the dashboard into two sections.

Abstract: A holder for supporting a plurality of business cards relative to a vehicle. The inventive device includes a base plate having a mounting assembly for coupling to a vehicle. A dispensing assembly projects from the base plate and supports a plurality of stacked business cards for individual reception by a person.

Abstract: A store coupon organizing and dispensing apparatus. The apparatus has a coupon holder disposed in an elongated frame with a lower notch adapted to engage a handle of a shopping cart. The lower notch is adapted also to serve as a carrying handle. The coupon holder has a rotary mechanism which includes a drum with rods disposed on it. The rods are adapted to hold the coupon file cards, such that when the drum is rotated the coupons are serially revealed for selection by a user. Alternatively, the coupon file cards may be pivoted about an arcuate hub which is housed in a similar elongated frame. A calculator is preferably mounted on an external top face of the frame to allow a user to tally and compare prices of items. An internal enclosed storage cavity is included in the frame for storing coupons selected for use by the shopper.

Abstract: A holder for parking garage keys and rectangular documents is to be used for storing credit card sized pass-keys, credit cards and similarly dimensioned items inside motor vehicles. The holder has a fold-and-finish construction. The holder comprises a back face, a front face connected to the back face at the bottom of the holder, and two side faces connected to the back face at the sides. The front face has a substantial indentation and beveled top edge so as to allow easy access to the contents of the holder. The holder is intended to be mounted in an motor vehicle in order to provide ready availability of parking garage pass-keys or other cards or documents, such as credit cards and visas, that might be necessary while travelling by motor vehicle.

Abstract: A holder for a scorecard includes a scorecard retaining unit which is secured to a wearer's waist in a freely slidable relationship. The retaining unit may be comprised of three generally planar sections joined together at their ends with one section having a scorecard retained on its inside face and one section having two loops attached to its outside face. The freely slidable association of the unit relative to the wearer's waist is accomplished by an outer elongated strip which surrounds a wearer's waist, passes through the two loops on the retaining unit and is attached at its ends to a belt which also surrounds the wearer's waist.

Abstract: A map holder comprises a holder and a positioner for maintaining the holder in a first position and for applying a force to and urging the holder to a second position. The positioner further comprises a latch for maintaining the holder in a first position and a spring for urging the holder to a second position when the latch is released. The holder may also include a sleeve or support for connecting the map holder to a person's arm or wrist, or to a steering wheel, dashboard, windshield, or handlebar.

Abstract: The present device has a plurality of accessories, including a cup, an office supply kit and a cosmetics kit, each having a base portion of like dimensions including a flat, extended bottom flange. The base portions fit and latch interchangeably into a base mount which is installed on a vehicle dash or console.

Abstract: An attachment device for grocery carts consisting of a pair of large plates attached to one another with one plate on each side of the front wall of the shopping cart basket. The large plates are about the same size as the front wall of the cart and act as a support surface for advertising indicia. A smaller plate is hinged to the top of the large plates and has an index for locating items in the store. The smaller piece may comprise a pair of plates of transparent material.

Abstract: A readily transportable desk structure is provided for positioning upon a vehicular seat of the bench type. The desk structure preferably takes the form of an tub-like body having a compartment housing transceiver means and a plate-like top covering the compartment with a cover providing access to the compartment. Various means are disclosed for preventing excessive verticle and horizontal movement of the desk stucture during vehicular travel utilizing the vehicle seat belt, the center armrest, the seat cushion and the seat back. A power outlet is provided for utilizing electrically powered accessories with the desk stucture.

Abstract: An auto trunk organizer comprising a cabinet member, a storage member, and mechanism for detachably securing the storage member to the cabinet member. The cabinet member has an outer housing enclosing an interior cavity, a plurality of draw members having draw latching mechanisms, and at least one pivoting door member having a latching mechanism. The storage member is portable and includes multiple, separate compartments suitable for storing documents. The storage member preferably includes an accordion type file folder. The attachment mechanism is connected between the cabinet member and the storage member. The attachment mechanism allows the storage member to be detachably secured to the cabinet member. Any attachment mechanism that will allow the storage member to be detachably secured to the cabinet member may be used. The attachment mechanism preferably includes either, or both, a hook-and-pile type fastener or a snap type fastener.

A strap suspends the bag so that the opening into the first receptacle faces upward. The second receptacle is designed to hold a container and is collapsible when not being used.

Abstract: A device for mounting to the steering column of a golf cart for supporting and displaying looseleaf pages, in particular for displaying golf course information. The device includes a base for supporting pages generally perpendicular to the cart's steering column. A binder is secured to the base for holding the looseleaf pages and an attachment element is provided for mounting the device to the steering column of the golf cart.

Abstract: A note pad holder to be used in motor vehicles. The note pad having a base, a spring clamp for securing a note pad and a clip for holding a writing utensil. The base is removable secured to a vehicle dashboard such that pressure on the writing surface of the base will cause the base to pivot from a first position substantially parallel to the dashboard to a second position wedged between the dashboard and the windshield.

Abstract: A tray for use by both children and adults while traveling in an automobile has a box-like frame and is supported by hinged panel legs. The box-like frame has a food serving surface on one side, a smooth desk surface on the opposite side, and a storage compartment within the box-like frame. A hinged door provides access to the storage compartment. The tray is placed over the legs of a user and secured to the user's seat belt. The hinged panel legs may be rotated 180 degrees to allow the tray to be used as a food tray in the normal position and as a desk when the box frame is inverted. In an alternative embodiment, the tray includes a food serving surface supported by hinged legs which may fold under the food serving surface for storage. A storage bag, which may be attached to the back of a passenger seat, provides for convenient storage of the folded tray.

Abstract: A tissue rack including a springy mounting plate fastened to the inside rear view mirror of an automobile and the roof thereof, and a rack body welded to the mounting plate for holding a body of tissue, wherein the rack body is made by bending a metal wire into shape, having two front clamping portions and a back clamping portions disposed in parallel for clamping on two opposite sides of the box of tissue paper, and two supporting portions connected between the front and back clamping portions at two opposite sides for supporting the box of tissue paper.

Abstract: An apparatus for mounting to a golf cart for supporting and displaying looseleaf pages, in particular for displaying golf course information. The apparatus includes a base for supporting looseleaf pages at an oblique angle relative to the cowl of the golf cart. A binder is secured to the base for holding the looseleaf pages and a first attachment element is provided for securing the base to the cowl at the edge. A second attachment element is provided for also attaching the base to the cowl. In a second preferred form, the apparatus is configured for mounting to the steering column of the golf cart, rather than to the cowl itself.

Abstract: A clipboard attachment for a steering wheel that can be used when the steering wheel is being manipulated. The clipboard attachment has a clipboard and a housing to which the clipboard is attached. The housing securely attaches to the inner rim of the steering wheel. Opposed telescoping securing portions partially enclosed within the housing extend outward and are spring biased to engage the inner rim of the steering wheel. Mating hook and loop fasteners releasably attach U-shaped ends of the securing portions to the steering wheel.

Abstract: In a shopping cart comprising a main basket and a transverse handle mounted behind the main basket, two bars are mounted fixedly to the handle so as to extend forwardly from the handle. Also, a cupholder formed of wire is mounted slidably to the bars so as to permit the cupholder to slide forwardly to a storage position and backwardly to a usage position within a limited range of movement of the cupholder relative to the bars. In the usage position, the cupholder is capable of holding a large cup and a small cup. Each of the bars is wrapped around the handle and has a lower portion, to which one of the end portions of the cupholder is mounted slidably, and an upper portion, on which a coupon tray formed of wire is mounted fixedly.

Abstract: A tissue container which is mounted to the visor of a vehicle and which can be filled with tissues or a box of tissues without removing the container from the visor. The tissue container has a fairly narrow width so that it takes less head room in smaller vehicles. However, for larger vehicles, an increased number of tissues, which are greater in volume than the volume of the housing of the tissue container, may be inserted in the container. The container is mounted to the visor using elastic cords which stretch to accommodate the increased volume of the tissues or a larger box of tissues inserted in the container which has a greater volume than the volume inside the housing of the container.

Abstract: A device intended to be removably attached to an automobile sun visor having a pocket for the safe and convenient storage of a plastic access card is disclosed. Said device is constructed of a plurality of rectangular sheets of equal size and a clip comprised of a thin, planar, rigid, substantially rectangular base and a resilient member of constant thickness and width projecting from the base having an arcuate portion then extending towards an edge of the base with an inclination towards the plane of the base such that the free end of the clip is in close proximity to the plane of the base as well as said edge of the base. The base is eider held within first and second opposed plastic sheets fixedly attached to each other along the edges or fixedly attached directly to the second sheet. A third plastic sheet is attached on three edges to the second sheet; the fourth unattached edge provides an aperture of a size suitable for insertion and removal of a plastic access card.

Abstract: A portable coupon organizer for organizing and transporting coupons to the supermarket, having a plurality of double-sided, viewable and sealable coupon pockets, which can be attached to the handle of a shopping cart. The coupon organizer once attached to the shopping cart, is capable of rotating on the handle. The organizer enables a shopping list or store map to be stored. Each pocket can be labeled to a shopper's desire for easy organization of coupons. The organizer can be used either partially or in its entirety. Portions of the organizer can be replaced when needed, obviating the need to replace the entire organizer.

Abstract: The present invention provides a notepad holder for automobiles which may be mounted directly to the windshield of a car for viewing by the driver during operation of the motor vehicle or for making notes during times when the vehicle is momentarily stopped. The notepad holder includes a base which is removably mounted to the inner surface of the windshield of a motor vehicle by at least two separate mounting locations. The base includes a clamp for removably holding a pad or other writing material, and further includes a compartment for holding a pen or other writing implement.

Abstract: A coupon holder container includes a forward container cavity spaced in adjacency to and below a rear container cavity, with the rear container cavity of a rear container including a rear wall mounting a spring clip to an upper end of the rear wall for securement to a handle portion of a shopping cart. The forward container cavity of a forward container includes a forward wall mounting a plurality of U-shaped supports for selectively receiving a pencil or alternatively, a calculator support plate having a support flange projecting forwardly of and below the forward container.

Abstract: An apparatus for attaching to a steering column, column or instrument panel, e.g., an aircraft yoke column, having a two-part clamp to so attach, an arm movably connected to the clamp, and an information display movably connected to the arm. In a presently preferred embodiment, any circular column of 3/4" to 7/8" diameter can be attached to. The movement of both the arm and information display is upwardly or downwardly such that the overall effect is that the display can be moved inwardly or outwardly. The connections of the arm to the clamp and/or of the arm to the information display can be a joint or a hinge. The information display can be a video display, e.g., a moving map computer or a display screen for such a computer, or, a clipboard or ring binder; the video display and clipboard are presently preferred.

Abstract: A tissue dispenser for a motor vehicle which is molded as an integral part of the interior trim of a motor vehicle in such a manner that no additional hardware is needed. The tissue dispenser is preferably located in a readily accessible location in the interior of the motor vehicle--such as the dashboard, the passenger rear seat arm rest compartment, the center console, the overhead console, or the door. The tissue dispenser may be color blended to match the interior trim or may be covered with fabric to match the upholstery.

Abstract: A filing and organizing device for vehicle seats having a front panel, a rear panel, and first and second flexible side walls extending from the front panel to the rear panel. A flexible bottom extends across an area formed by the panels and the side walls so as to define a central receiving area. A plurality of divider panels are removably affixed to the side walls and positioned in generally parallel relationship to the panels. An attachment belt is connected to the rear panel for removably attaching the device to a car seat. Each of the panels and the dividers have different sizes. The dividers are supported on tracks positioned along the inner surface of the side walls. A strap is provided so as to extend from the rear panel across the front surface of the front panel for affixing the position of the front panel with respect to the rear panel.

Abstract: A system and method for shopping are described which includes a lightweight, compact carrier, made of nylon or fabric material, designed to carry a set of reusable shopping bags. The set of shopping bags comprise a plurality of bag structures made of either nylon, fabric or paper material. The bag structures are folded into a compact shape which are then placed on one edge and stacked horizontally in a side by side manner inside the carrier. The entire bottom surface or a band having an identifying color is printed on the bottom surface of each bag structure which identifies the size of the bag structure. During use, the bag structures are folded and stacked inside the carrier so that a portion of the colored bottom surface or colored band on each bag structure is visual when each bag structure is stored inside the carrier which enables the user to identify and select the correct bag structure from the set of shopping bags.

Abstract: A clipboard arrangement includes a planar base member having a raised peripheral rim and a suction cup mounting plate hingedly mounted to a top edge of the base member. A removable clipboard assembly is selectively mounted to the planar base member and has a clamp plate at its upper edge for mounting a writing pad upon the clipboard. A bottom bracket extends outwardly from the base member to cradle and hold the clipboard bottom edge and a tang and slot juncture extends between the clipboard and the planar base member toward upper portions of the clipboard and base member so that a clipboard can be easily lifted slightly upwardly and then outwardly from the base member for carrying. Use of the clipboard arrangement permits the user to semi-permanently mount the planar base member to a suitable surface within a vehicle, such as a windshield or dashboard and then to easily remove the clipboard when going about his or her business, such as shopping or running errands.

Abstract: A card case is mounted within the vicinity of the driver's seat of an automobile for accommodating and holding therein a magnetic card. The card case has a card accommodation portion which is provided upon the inner surface thereof with an illuminating means. The card accommodation portion is also provided therein with a push member pushed inwardly by means of the insertion of a card, biasing means for biasing the push member in the direction of extracting the card, and a latch device for latching the push member at a card accommodation position within the card accommodation portion and, when the push member is pushed in further from the card accommodation position, for releasing the latched push member within the card accommodation portion. The push member is made of a light conductive material.

Abstract: A shopping list holder having a novel method of fastening the holder on a vertical rod of a child seat on a standard shopping cart. The method of fastening permits the list holder to be positioned at two distinct angles of repose. The angle of reponse that is more accessible by the user is selected merely by choosing whether to fasten the list holder around a vertical rod from the right to left or from left to right. The use of magnetic strips enables the holder to be stored on a refrigerator or other metal surface to keep the list holder readily available for use at home.

Abstract: A foldable bag 31 for storing items in an automobile comprises a roller assembly 19 for extending and retracting purpose, suction cups 10 and supporting brackets 11 12 for attaching, a roller tightener 29, an extension web 30, a bag 31 which can be folded in compacted form, an opening and closing frame 32 33 34, and rigid back panel 38 covered with soft vinyl and upon which an elastic band 39 is hung for additional attachment.

Abstract: A document shipping container assembly adapted to be coupled to a railroad car is disclosed. The document shipping container assembly includes a support member, a container, and a lid. The support member is attached to the railroad car and the document shipping container is attached to the support member. The bottom of the support member is shaped to mate with a curved Murphy End of a railroad car to position the container in a recessed location. The lid includes a circumferentially extending flange overlapping the container and the mating surface between the lid and the container. The seal between the container and the lid is watertight when the lid is closed. A latch permits the lid to be locked shut onto the container to prevent unauthorized persons from removing the documents therein. A non-repairable sealing member, such as a plastic strap, extends through the latch to provide an indication whether the documents have been tampered with.

Abstract: A modular workstation (2) is disclosed comprising a base container (4) for positionment on an automobile seat. A top surface (10) of the base container constitutes a writing surface, which is movable from a storage position to a second position in writing proximity to the workstation user. A secondary storage container (6) is integrally molded with the base container, inboard thereof, and a channel (64) is provided for receiving a seat belt. A third storage container (8) can be attached to an outward surface of the base container, for use in transporting files to and from the vehicle. The writing surface (10) mounted to the top of the base container is removable from the container, whereby providing the user with a transportable writing surface if so needed.

Abstract: An apparatus for use in combination with vehicular cigarette lighter sockets, wherein the apparatus includes a cylindrical base including spring biased clip members to retain the cylindrical base within the cigarette lighter socket. The base is secured to a generaaly "Z" shaped link to define an offset forward leg mounting a first head rotatably mounted to a second head, wherein the second head is in turn mounted to a third head and the third head mounted to a fourth head, the fourth head mounting a support plate thereon, wherein the support plate includes a generally trapezoidal slot to receive trapezoidal flanges of accessories of the organization to include a cup, a clip board organization, and a tray assembly.

Abstract: A golf cart score board and handlebar angular position adjusting structure, comprising a screw rod fastened with a lock nut to secure a handlebar and a score board to a connecting rod which is fixedly fastened in a golf cart's main frame. The handlebar and the score board have each a toothed portion engaged with the toothed portion at either side of the connecting rod with a helical spring each set therebetween. Therefore, the handlebar and the score board can be adjusted to a desired angle relative to the connecting rod and the golf cart's main frame by loosening the lock nut from the screw rod and then fastening it tight.

Abstract: A mobile telephone console for use in a motor vehicle includes arcuate side shoulders on an upper surface supporting the telephone to guide the hand of the user to the telephone to release it from the telephone cradle. The console may have a writing table assembly removably connected thereto by a stab joint arrangement between an elongate table support arm and a slot in the console. The writing table is pivotable on the support arm between a deploying position for use by the driver or a storage position when the table assembly is removed from the console.

Abstract: A motor vehicle accessory particularly useful for holding a sign or other article, includes a plate member formed at one end with a mounting section for insertion between the vehicle windshield and the vehicle dashboard. The mounting section extends obliquely to the plate member, and is joined to it by an elastic juncture section, such that when the mounting section is inserted between the vehicle windshield and the vehicle dashboard, the plate member is pressed towards the inner surface of the windshield to thereby releasably hold a sign or other article between it and the inner surface of the windshield.

Abstract: An automotive accessory mount is set forth for use in combination with an automotive cigarette lighter receptacle. The apparatus includes an enlarged, cylindrical base of a configuration complementary to that defined by the cigarette lighter receptacle. A metallic core extends from interiorly of the polymeric base to a shank provided with an orthogonally oriented clip member.
