Abstract: An accessory system for a vehicle includes a bracket configured for adhesive attachment at an in-cabin surface of the vehicle windshield. The bracket includes an attaching portion having an aperture therethrough and includes a pair of attaching arms extending from the attaching portion. An interior rearview mirror assembly has a mounting base that is attached at the attaching portion of the bracket with the bracket adhesively attached at the windshield. With the mounting base attached at the attaching portion, a rain sensor is disposed at the in-cabin surface of the windshield and the aperture of the attaching portion circumscribes the rain sensor. With the bracket adhesively attached at the windshield, a forward camera module is attached at the attaching arms of the bracket and generally at the in-cabin surface of the windshield so that an imager of the forward camera module has a field of view through the windshield.

The device includes a housing having a perimeter wall extending between a front end and a back end. The perimeter wall defines an open front face at the front end of the housing. A top slot extends through the perimeter wall. Each of a plurality of tabs is coupled to and extends from the perimeter wall. Each tab is curved to extend in front of the open front face of the housing wherein the tabs support an extrinsic device in the front end of the housing. A fastener is coupled to a bottom face of the housing for coupling the housing to a dash of a vehicle.

The equipment carrier includes at least one equipment holder configured to be secured to the user. The equipment holder includes an engaging portion configured to receive the equipment. At least one tether includes a first portion attached to the equipment and a second portion attached to the user at a second location offset from the engaging portion. The at least one tether applies a tension force on the equipment to retain the equipment with the engaging portion of the equipment holder. The tension force is negligible when the equipment is disengaged from the equipment holder and positioned near the second location.

Abstract: A bicycle mounting system is provided having a base board with a flat top, a threaded aperture, and an alignment feature. A removable fork mount includes a first lug extending from a first side, a second lug extending from a second side and a threaded fastener for removably attaching the fork mount to the base board. The threaded fastener has a knob to enable attaching and removing the fork mount without tools. A contact fastener on the base board attaches the system to a vehicle.

Abstract: In an object holding device, it is possible to prevent loosening of a cord-like body for holding an object without requiring any user's special operation. The object holding device includes a fixing belt (3) wound on a plastic tank (2), a male buckle (9) provided at a fixing belt, a reel (4) having the fixing belt wound around and urged to rotate in a winding direction of the fixing belt and a reel housing (11) connecting with a male buckle. When the male buckle is connected to the reel housing, a rotation of the reel is restricted at least in a counter-winding direction of the fixing belt.

A strap that is tightened to clamp around the tank has two mounts spaced along the length of the strap to connect to the two mounting points respectively. Some rotational movement is allowed where the mounts connect to the mounting points to accommodate tanks with different cross-sectional dimensions.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a golfer's aid includes a bracket configured to be attached to a score card holder on the steering wheel of a golf cart. The bracket includes a main body and a leg extending from the main body. A recess near the distal end of the leg is sized to be received over an edge portion of the score card holder, and a fastener associated with the recess can be adjusted to clamp the bracket to the score card holder. The golfer's aid further includes a magnifying viewer coupled to the main body of the bracket whereby the user can view a score card on the score card holder through the magnifying viewer.

The base is provided with a micro-adjusting member for adjusting combined tightness of the first and the second strap, and an engaging member for engaging the one-way ratchets of the first strap to prevent the first strap from moving reversely and a releasing member for pulling open the engaging member to release and separate the first strap and the second strap.

Abstract: An attachment mechanism is described for attaching accessories to a stake hole in the sidewall of a cargo area of a vehicle, such as a pickup truck. The mechanism comprises of a base plate with a grove formed in the top of the base plate having the shape of an inverted T. An attachment plate having a connector, also having the shape of an inverted T, is attached to the bottom surface of the attachment plate. An attachment such as a tie down ring, a tie down anchor, a flag pole or tent pole holder or the like is attached to the top surface of the attachment plate. The attachment plate can then be attached to the base plate by sliding the inverted T shaped connector into the inverted T shaped groove in the base plate. Another attachment mechanism is described which can be used to attach accessories to vehicles without stake holes or to other regions of a vehicle.

The first edge section is configured to secure the first lip, and the second edge section is configured to form a wall. A wedge assembly is coupled to the track assembly for engaging the wall and the second lip to secure the component on the track assembly.

Abstract: A stabilizing mechanism and method for a reflector antenna, in a mobile satellite system on a transport, such as a vehicle, for substantially minimizing damage to the reflector antenna when stowed. The stabilizing mechanism uses a stabilizing surface and a pair of stabilizing devices connected on opposite sides of the reflector antenna to provide a pre-load separation distance between a stabilizing surface and the reflector antenna when the reflector antenna is stowed. The pre-loaded separation minimizes any movement of the reflector antenna towards the stabilizing surface during movement of the transport or in adverse environmental conditions.

The slide block slides along the cam surface when the locking member is moved toward the unlocked position.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a sports rack or support system that has a pair of mounting posts adapted to be received in the stake holes of a pickup truck. A frame is supported by mounting posts. The frame includes a pair of laterally extending supports adapted to be positioned above the side rails and behind the cab when the mounting posts are in the stake holes. In one embodiment, the frame includes a first and a second frame elements. The frame elements have an arm that extends out along the side rail of the pickup truck. The laterally extending supports extend perpendicularly from the arms into the bed of the pickup truck. The laterally extending supports may be adjustable in length.

The system includes an accessory holder and a mount that is attached to the accessory holder and that may be installed in a tool-less manner into a cup holder, such that the mount grips the cup holder with enough force to be usable in highly dynamic applications. Abstract: A protective holder for a mobile GPS navigation device includes attaching portions for mounting to a motor vehicle sun visor. The attaching portions include clips, elastic straps, Velcro fasteners, double-sided sticking tape strips or hooks. The holder includes a main opening for the mobile GPS navigation device with adjoining sides. The adjoining sides include additional openings to provide access to the power switch, power charging jack, speaker, memory card and LCD touch screen. The holder, a rigid support plate, or clips may include exterior projection fins for the clearance of sound from the speaker or for access to the charging jack of the mobile GPS navigation device. The projection fins also allow the mobile GPS navigation device to be lifted at an angle to allow better viewing of the LCD touch screen when the mobile GPS navigation device is mounted to a motor vehicle sun visor. A pivot mechanism may also be used for additional tilting of the mobile GPS navigation device.

The cradle is for receiving a fork crown of a bicycle. The cradle includes first and second tines which form at least part of a substantially U-shaped structure, and a third tine extending angularly away from the U-shaped structure so as to allow the fork crown to be received between the U-shaped structure and the third tine. A head tube of the bicycle is disposed between the first and second tines. The third tine is disposed between fork tubes of the bicycle.
