Single Attaching Means Crossing Both Shoulders And Extended Circumferentially Of Torso Under Arms Patents (Class 224/606)
  • Patent number: 10952525
Abstract: A flexible scabbard for securing a baton to equipment worn by a user includes a holster, a cover, and a clip. The holster and cover are made from flexible material. A strip of a first half of a hook and loop fastener wrapping around a top of the front of the holster and a first half of a snap fastener at a center of the front of a holster. The cover has a rear portion extending from the back of the holster to a forward portion having first and second security portions. A second half of the hook and loop fastener extends across the first and second security portions, with a second half of the snap fastener in the middle. When the halves of the snap fastener are engaged and the first and second halves of the hook and loop fastener are engaged, the hook and loop fastener in the security portions is orientated in a shear direction with respect to a release direction of the snap fastener.

  • Patent number: 8251064
Abstract: An articulated firefighter breathing pack includes multiple polymeric pressure vessels connected together and to a flexible manifold with sections of flexible conduit. The pressure vessels and sections of flexible conduit are encased in high strength fiber material. The pressure vessels are wrapped in high strength ballistic ribbon material. The manifold provides connections for a high pressure regulator and an air fill source. A low pressure hose is connected to the high pressure regulator, a low pressure regulator is connected to the low pressure hose and a mouthpiece connected to the low pressure regulator. A pressure vessel container attaches the pressure vessels, the flexible conduit and the manifold to a harness having a waist portion and two vertical straps extending upwardly over the shoulders and back down to the waist portion. A utility belt provides mounting for equipment for the breathing pack including hoses, a power supply, electronic sensors and controls.

Abstract: A carrier with a handle having a left side and a right side and a loop string having two sides with the first side held on the left side on the handle and the second side being held on the right side of the handle. The handle may have a shoulder strap attached to the handle and may be adjusted to the shoulder length. The strap is to be tied in a loop. The handles may have a buckle attached to a waist belt. The handle defines a gap on the left side and a gap on the right side through which the loop may pass upon compression and an opening for receiving the loop wider than the gap. A buckle for restricting the length of the loop of string to secure a load within a hoop formed by the string. A plurality of strings of different lengths may be used. A loader for leading bags on the handle is also shown.

  • Patent number: 5957354
Abstract: A backsack (48) comprises a bag (51 ), a strap (30), a pair of robust ring spring clips (38, 66) and generally four pellets (26, 28). The bag is folded and glued of a single sheet of printable paper-like, yet high-strength material to have side gussets (55) and a flat bottom (52). The flat bottom (52) comprises folded and glued flaps (21, 23) which advantageously form corner pockets (22). The top of the bag is turned (87), with reinforcements affixed under the cuff. Two holes (88) are punched through all four layers of the collapsed bag resulting in eight holes (88) when the bag is open. With the bag still collapsed, the strap (30) is threaded through one of the two holes, back through the other, and serves as a closure at the top, leach of the two equal length portions of the strap (30) emerges from its hole and loops down to form shoulder loops. A pellet (28) is placed into each bottom corner pocket (22). The coils of the pair of ring spring clips (40, 42 and 68, 70) are pried apart with a tool (34).

  • Patent number: 5774338
Abstract: A body integral electronics package housing is formed of cloth material that simulates a person's garment, such as a poncho or vest. The housing contains various pockets to confine various electronic modules, including a front pocket of such size as to overlie the breast and midriff portions of the person's torso. The front pocket confines a plurality of rigid electronic modules that are supported within the pocket in a row and column array. The user may twist or turn his torso and bend forward or back and the foregoing array, and the modules do not restrict that movement. Instead, the position of the individual modules independently adjusts to the torso's position.
