Abstract: The invention provides improved backpack and waist bag carrying systems in which a waist bag rotates through a lower compartment of a backpack to allow the bearer of the backpack to access the contents of the receiver of the waist bag by rotating the waist bag to the front of the bearer's torso. One or more doors are provided in one aspect to secure the receiver of the waist bag in the lower compartment of the backpack but permit the egress of the receiver through the opening covered by the door, which may be tensioned away from the opening by a tensioning system when the free end of the door is released. The receiver is tapered to easily fit into the lower compartment and remain in that compartment due to friction with the walls defining the compartment.

Abstract: One design embodiment of a holder for a container comprising: one or more bands each capable of retaining a container inside the band(s), with straps attached to and extending away from the exterior of the band(s); with fasteners on the ends of each strap such that container within the band or bands are held in a stable position relative to a harness to be worn by a user. The design embodiment allows easy attachment, use and deployment of containers in a variety of environmental conditions and situational uses, including but not limited to the carrying of gas supplies for underwater divers.

Abstract: A hunting blind assembly having a frame adapted for shoulder supported carriage; a collapsible hunting blind; a durable flexible sheet fitted for, upon movement of the hunting blind to its collapsed configuration and upon placement of the hunting blind in contact with the frame's back side, and between the frame's left and right ends, arcuately covering the hunting blind; and left and right pluralities of ties interconnecting the frame with the durable flexible sheet, the left and right pluralities of ties, in combination with the frame and the durable flexible sheet, encapsulating the hunting blind.

Abstract: A carrying bag including an adjustable shoulder strap as well as an adjustable secondary strap that fits across a wearer's back and around an arm opposite the shoulder strap and that has a pouch integrally attached to a carrier body thereof, the pouch accessible by both a zipper and through an opening having a flap thereover. A waist belt is also provided as an additional way to secure the carrying bag to a wearer.

Abstract: A pack comprising, in one aspect, a first enclosure and a pair of sleeves. The open end of each sleeve being connected to one respective slit of a pair of slits defined on the exterior surface of the first enclosure such that the pair of sleeves is disposed therein a first interior cavity of the first enclosure to form pockets adapted to receive a user's hands. The pack may also comprise a second enclosure and a shoulder strap connected to portions of the exterior surface of the respective first and second enclosures.

Abstract: A chest bag apparatus is arranged to be worn and carried in position secured against the chest of a wearer both in a first, closed, carrying condition and in a second, open, substantially L-shaped, tray-like condition providing facilitated access to the interior of the bag and its contents during its use while being worn by a wearer. The chest bag may further have a second, fully open condition for use of the chest bag in a hanging condition on a support hook or in condition laid out on an underlying ground surface. The chest bag preferably includes a quick release, temporary closure arrangement to permit the bag to be quickly closed temporarily so that it does not obstruct the wearer's view and activity.

Abstract: A belt utility system for carrying up to a large number of objects includes an elongated flexible strap for removably supporting a large number of plurality of receptacles or holders for objects, at least one holder or receptacle for an object, as well as a way of removably attaching the receptacle(s) or holder(s) to the strap. This means of attachment includes a finger-gripping portion for facilitating both the simultaneous gripping of holder(s) or receptacle(s) for objects and the detachment, by the user, by generally lifting with the fingers, of these holder(s) or receptacle(s), in a generally upward direction. The utility system can also include a snap-lock connector connected to the strap and to the receptacle or holder, and a releasing tab or button near or on the gripping portion for releasing the connector portions from each other when pressed by the user's finger substantially at the same time as the user lifts the finger-gripping portion.

Abstract: A concealed magazine slot arrangement includes a magazine holder, a gear carrier, and a fastening device for fastening the magazine holder on the user's body. The magazine holder includes an inner panel, an outer panel, having a front operation side, overlapped thereon, and a plurality of slot dividers affixed between the inner and outer panels to form a plurality of magazine slots concealed within the inner panel, the outer panel, and the slot dividers for receiving the magazine. A gear carrier is provided on the front operation side of the magazine holder for carrying a gear thereon. Quick accessing fasteners facilitate securing magazines in magazine slots. Means for adjusting the depth of the magazine slots are provided.

Abstract: A low slung tool belt carrier includes pouches designed to be suspended from a belt strap construction with a shoulder strap crossing over the torso or shoulders to support the larger of two pouches, the pouches arranged to fit on the hips or be rested upon the hips of an individual. Alternate constructions incorporate handles for carrying the pouches and fasteners for combining pouches. Various alternative combinations of tool belts, waist straps, handles, carry straps, pouches and pockets enable customization of a tool belt for individual workmen.

Abstract: A restraining and protection device for the protection and the restraint of neckstrap-suspended equipment used in the field, comprises a flexible cover of sufficient size to envelope most surfaces of the equipment. Attached to or associated with the cover is one strap that extend around the user's waist. A second strap is attached to the equipment so as to extend around the user's neck, or alternatively over one of the user's shoulder as desired. The ability to change the configuration of the straps is accomplished by providing an interconnection between the straps such that the waist strap can loop through the neck strap when the device is in a harness-type configuration and separated to change the device to an over-the-shoulder configuration with the equipment positioned proximate the user's hip.

Abstract: A pack for carrying school books and other items, with the weight substantially balanced between the front and back of the wearer. A yoke has front and back pouches, and an opening for the wearer's head. The sides of the front and back portions of the yoke are releasably connected by flaps at the sides of the back portion which engage a strip of hook-and-loop material on the front pouch. An auxiliary bag is detachably connected to the back pouch.

Abstract: A harness-like fishing gear holder vest upon which various pouches are mounted for storing fishing supplies and caught fish. The harness includes two shoulder straps on which are attached six pockets, three on the front of each straps. The two straps are attached to a waist belt, which has two additional pouches attached to the sides. A chest strap is provided between the two shoulder straps. Two adjustable rod-holding rings for holding a fishing rod are attached to the straps. This enables the user's hands to be free for performing various other activities. A detachable line cutter and a snap hook are placed on the waist belt by looped snap bands. Pouches are attached to the shoulder straps by clamp-like clips. The device is fully adjustable, fastened with VELCRO belt and shoulder adjustment. The vest is worn by an angler while wading in water up to his chest.

Abstract: A harness with detachable and interchangeable pouches comprises two torso straps extending downwardly and outwardly from a central coupler assembly, two shoulder straps, and two belly straps. The harness is adjustable to fit nearly any body size. The pouches are attached to the harness with quick-releasing retaining clips and to each other by the belly straps. Each pouch includes front and rear panels that are formed using either a right-side template or a left-side template and is interchangeable with any other pouch designed using the same template. The interchangeability allows the wearer to install pouches that are best suited for a particular activity. Each pouch is designed such that, when worn, it hangs at an angle which causes its top to slant downwardly toward the middle of the wearer's torso, thereby increasing the accessibility of the pouch contents.

Abstract: A support member and detachable container mounting, which includes a support member, for example, a shoulder strap, a container having a top mounting hole, a flexible suspension member having one end fixedly connected to the support member and an opposite end terminating in a T-shaped end piece inserted through the mounting hole on the container by force to suspend the container from the support member, and loop and hook materials respectively provided at the support member and the T-shaped end piece of the flexible suspension member for enabling the T-shaped end piece of the flexible suspension member to be secured to the support member.

Abstract: A modular load bearing field support system having a waist belt, a pair of shoulder straps, each of the shoulder straps having a front end attached to the waist belt and a rear end attached to the waist belt, and a middle section disposed between said front and rear ends. A mounting track is attached to said waist belt, and a spatula accessory support system is included for mounting an accessory on the mounting track. The spatula system includes a flat spatula attached to an accessory, with the spatula inserted between the mounting track and the waist belt to attach the accessory to waist belt. A long gun support system for conveniently and safely carrying a firearm along with the load bearing support system is described. Extension panels for carrying large loads on the support system, as well as fabric noise-reduction and color variation panels are also described.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a wearable tray assembly particularly designed for those who stock shelves or perform similar tasks. The device includes a circular, continuous padded waistband having an elongated, integral slot on its front portion. The waistband is supported around a person's abdomen using a pair of adjustable shoulder straps. A planar, substantially rectangular tray member is received within the slot for supporting items, such as a shipping carton, immediately adjacent a user's abdomen. The tray member preferably has at least one retaining wall vertically depending from a peripheral edge to prevent the carton from shifting. Alternatively, a box shaped container member may be attached to the waistband by inserting a pair of opposing, horizontally extending attachment arms into the slot. The tray and container member are supported in a horizontal position using a leg brace removably attached to their respective lower surfaces at one end and to the waistband at a second end.

Abstract: A pack for safely securing personal items below stadium seating at sporting events includes a flexible sack including one or more pockets that can be sealed by a closure flap. One of such pockets may be used to contain a seat cushion to be placed upon such stadium seating. A fastening system is provided for securing the flexible sack to the underside of the stadium seating. The fastening system may include hooked members secured by elastic straps to opposing ends of the pack. Alternatively, the fastening system may include straps secured to the sack and which extend around and above the stadium seat. The pack may include a handle, shoulder strap, or a pair of arm straps to aid in carrying the pack to or from a stadium.

Abstract: A stuffed toy carrier for attachment to a strap or the like object by use of a reusable hook and pile fastener. The carrier allows for securement of a stuffed toy as well as ease of accessibility to the toy. The carrier forms a pocket-like structure having a top opening constricted by an elastic band formed integral to the upper rim and a first and second aperture for positioning the legs of the stuffed toy.

Abstract: A carrying system which may be utilized for carrying video cameras, photography cameras and accessories, medical supplies, tools or recreational equipment therefor comprising two adjustable compartment bags that are each supported by an adjustable shoulder strap and an adjustable waist belt that when worn over the upper body provide a comfortable, balanced and accessible carrying system. Alternatively, both compartment bags may be re-configured and locked together to form a single shoulder bag.
