Abstract: A backpack that comprises a series of durable fabric panels that have been sewn together to form a soft and expandable container, which has been equipped with ergonomic shoulder straps and numerous features for the homeless individual that help overcome many of the shortcomings and disadvantages of prior art. The d backpack employs a series of adjustable quick-release straps to provide expandability and Velcro connections for detachability. The backpack employs an internal pleated back pad that is removable to be used as a sleeping pad and in combination with a chevron stitch pattern for added support and user comfort. The backpack also has a closure system for closing the top inner liner of a backpack.

Abstract: An apparatus for carrying objects includes a bag and at least one cord. The bag has a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion of the bag includes a channel. The cord includes a first end portion coupled to the bottom portion of the bag, a second end portion coupled to the bottom portion of the bag, and a middle portion positioned between the first end portion and the second end portion. The middle portion of the cord includes a first length of cord which extends slidably through the channel and a second length of cord which is positioned outside of the channel. The second length of cord has a substantially larger diameter than the first length of cord.

Abstract: A bag configured to be worn or carried on the back by a user having a cinched top and including padded straps which extend over the user's shoulders. Each of the straps includes a strap member which may be a cord or a drawstring which is attached to the bottom of the bag and loops around the perimeter of the top of the bag. Each of the straps also includes a padded member which encircles a portion of the strap member to provide additional comfort to the user by cushioning the strap member and distributing the weight of the bag over a larger surface area.

Abstract: A flexible shipping bag, which after use for shipping an item in commerce, can be turned inside out and transformed into a re-usable backpack with an open top. The flexible shipping bag includes sealing flaps configured to enable opening the flexible shipping bag by cutting off a portion of the sealing-flap. The sealing-flaps fold into the flexible shipping bag when the flexible shipping bag is turned inside out revealing backpack flaps each configured to define a draw-string tube-like passage therethrough. The flexible shipping bag includes a drawstring and a tab extending from an inside edge of the shipping bag, preferably near the bottom, and configured to secure the drawstring. The inside of the shipping bag may also include a separate pouch. The top of the pouch may include means to close the pouch.

Abstract: A backpack includes a body having a closure portion which defines an opening through which an interior region of the body can be accessed selectively. In the opened position, end portions of the closure portion are extended away from one another, permitting access to the interior region. In the closed position, end portions are moved toward one another, inhibiting access to the interior region. A cord coupled to the strap assembly and to the end portions of the closure portion has a first configuration which permits movement of the closure portion to the open position, and a second configuration which inhibits extension of the end portions of the closure portion away from one another. A method for securing a backpack in a closed position includes positioning the cord in the second configuration, which permits drawing of the closure portion to a closed position.

Abstract: A carrying bag includes a bag body including first and second panels cooperating to substantially form a first compartment therebetween; an expandable compartment configured for housing an object, the expandable compartment including first and second areas cooperating with each other; the first area being connected to the bag body, the first area having two end portions, each end portion comprising a protrusion, and the first area having a fold line approximately along its center, the second area comprising three regions configured to cooperate with each other; and a cord capable of cooperating with the second area for facilitating the cooperation of the three regions. The shape of the protrusions of the end portions prevents the visibility of the first area to a user when the compartment is in an unexpanded configuration.

Abstract: A property and evidence bag comprising a deployable inner bag inside a pouch attached typically to the belt of an officer. The inner bag can be deployed and expands from its folded compact state inside the pouch. It is partially attached to the pouch and deploys by pulling a tab. Property and evidence can be placed in the inner bag and its opening can be secured using one hand by pulling on a draw string at its opening. This allows the officer to safely secure property and evidence found during an arrest while at the same time holding the arrestee at bay. After the arrestee is seated in the patrol car, the property and evidence found during the search of the arrestee's pockets can be itemized.

Abstract: A backpack having a body including a storage compartment formed between first and second ends. A support member can be attached to the body for supporting the body on a user. A skirt may be connected to the first end of the body and a hood can be integrally connected to the skirt. An actuation member may extend along at least a portion of the top edge portion of the skirt and connected to the hood to move the skirt and hood between open and closed positions so that when the actuation member is pulled, the skirt and hood are simultaneously moved to the closed position in a single motion to close the storage compartment at the first end of the body.

Abstract: The invention relates to a carrying bag comprising a first compartment and a second compartment, separated from the first compartment. At least one of the first compartment and second compartment is configured to receive a sports product and contains an opening arranged for exposing a portion of said product to the outside world. The first compartment is arranged above said second compartment in a carrying position of the carrying bag. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a carrying bag.

Abstract: A backpack having increased security features is disclosed that helps prevent the theft of objects stored in the interior portion of the backpack and in the external pockets. In particular, the backpack includes a security cover flap that is disposed to prevent access to the closing mechanism of the interior portion of the backpack. The security cover includes a latch portion that is secured to the first surface of the backpack, proximate to the wearer to prevent a criminal from accessing the closing mechanism, opening the backpack and stealing items from the interior. External pockets are provided on the front surface of the backpack, proximate to the wearer's body making them and the objects contained therein inaccessible to other people.

Abstract: A safety bag with a firm structure is formed by connecting a hard casing and a soft enclosure. The connectors for connecting a cover extending from the soft enclosure and the hard casing are installed with a plurality of buckles. The cover is installed with a first insertion portion at a front surface of the bag and a second insertion portion at two sides of the bag. A band passes through the first insertion portion and second insertion portion. The band out of the first insertion portion and second insertion portion is tightened by the retaining ring. Two ends of the band are buckled to selective two buckled of the plurality of buckles. The band is capable of being buckled to the buckles of different levels so that the tightness of the cover securing to the hard casing is adjusted according to the objects in the bag.

Abstract: An apparatus, for transporting a stroller, includes a sac for receiving a stroller therethrough. A support device is connected adjacent to the bottom end portion of the sac and selectively a frame of a stroller. The wheels of a stroller are allowed to extending outwardly from the open bottom end portion of the sac so that same can be rolled along the ground rather than carried on a user's back. A plurality of elongate straps allows the apparatus to be removably positioned on a back of a user. The apparatus may further include a plurality of adjustable clips cooperating with the plurality of straps respectively and for allowing a length thereof to be selectively adjusted. The apparatus may further include device for selectively closing the top end portion of the sac and for assisting to stabilize a stroller positioned therein.

Abstract: A collapsible decoy bag utilized to carry hunting supplies/accessories such as water fowl decoys. The decoy bag includes a collapsible, semi-rigid, spring-reinforced frame covered by a fabric shell formed of flexible panels. The fabric shell includes a top cover with drawstring opening to facilitate the loading and unloading of the bag with decoys, a mesh side panel to allow drainage, and a reinforced bottom panel to prevent wear and allow dragging. A shoulder harness is provided to allow a hunter to carry the bag across one or both shoulders like a backpack. In use, the present invention remains upright and open to facilitate the decoy unloading/loading process. The decoy bag is fully collapsible for ease of storage when not in use, and includes snaps for maintaining the collapsed configuration.

Abstract: The invention provides a bottom opening pocket that can be attached to an apparatus such as a backpack, a vest, a wheelchair, etc. The bottom opening pocket provides a user with ready access to contents. In one embodiment, the bottom opening pocket includes a flap that opens away from the body so that it can assist in guiding the contents through the opening. Further, a size of the bottom opening pocket can be adjusted and/or additional support can be provided to accommodate items of various sizes and weights.

Abstract: A harness with detachable and interchangeable pouches comprises two torso straps extending downwardly and outwardly from a central coupler assembly, two shoulder straps, and two belly straps. The harness is adjustable to fit nearly any body size. The pouches are attached to the harness with quick-releasing retaining clips and to each other by the belly straps. Each pouch includes front and rear panels that are formed using either a right-side template or a left-side template and is interchangeable with any other pouch designed using the same template. The interchangeability allows the wearer to install pouches that are best suited for a particular activity. Each pouch is designed such that, when worn, it hangs at an angle which causes its top to slant downwardly toward the middle of the wearer's torso, thereby increasing the accessibility of the pouch contents.

The webbing having portions intermediate the first and second ends which pass through the slider and through the flexible channel and the slider being slidably positionable along the webbing.

Abstract: A wetsuit containment system and method of using the same. Preferably, the system comprises a bag member defining a peripheral edge and having external and internal portions. A cinching strap is disposed within the peripheral edge so as to cause the bag member to selectively transition from an open configuration, which defines a platform surface of approximately 40 inches in diameter, or less, within which a person can stand and remove a wetsuit, and a second closed configuration, which enables the wetsuit to remain contained within the interior portion of the bag member. Fastening means may be provided to enable the bag member to selectively stay maintained in the second closed configuration. The cinching strap may further be designed as a pair of opposed loop members to facilitate the ability of a bag to transition between the open and closed configurations. The strap portions may further be adjusted to enable the system to be worn as a conventional backpack.

Abstract: A backpack for carrying foldable chairs and other accessories comprises an outer envelope open at one end into which a foldable chair is placed, a pair of spaced straps mounted at one end to the outer surface of the backpack and extending over the outwardly extending legs of the chair and being removably coupled to a mating strap attached to the mid point of the opposite outer surface of the backpack. The backpack further includes a first zippered compartment extending horizontally across the outer surface and including a mesh pocket mounted at an intermediate position thereon. A drawstring is mounted along each end of the envelope opening to secure the chair in place. The backpack also includes a reinforcing strap mounted horizontally to the surface at the upper end thereof and having one end of a pair of shoulder straps mounted thereto at an intermediate position and a handle mounted thereto at the upper portion of said reinforcing strap to be used with a second handle on the other side of the opening.
