Abstract: A detachable accessory carrier for an individual user to secure around their waist, the carrier including an arcuate frame to encompass a portion of the individuals user's waist, the carrier arcuate frame also includes a flexible linear element that terminates in a primary distal end portion and a secondary distal end portion, wherein the primary distal end portion and the secondary distal end portion have a structure for removable engagement therebetween to be removable from the user's waist, wherein operationally the flexible linear element removably secures the arcuate frame to and from the individual user's waist. In addition, included in the carrier is a slotted receptacle structure disposed on an extension beam, wherein the extension beam is affixed to and extending from a convex portion of the arcuate frame, wherein the slotted receptacle structure operationally removably retains an accessory.

Abstract: In embodiments, a belt clamp includes an inboard plate and an outboard plate that are pivotally coupled at their upper ends. The belt clamp may also include a spring biased locking mechanism that selectively and releasably connects the lower end of the inboard plate to the lower end of the outboard plate by way of locking posts in the inboard plate that are displaced upwardly from the lower edge of said plate. The outboard locking plate may have latch members that are entirely contained (except for opposing actuation buttons) within a compartment formed by two portions of the outboard plate connected by a living hinge. The opposing actuation buttons require a motion in a first direction, such as upwardly, to allow motion in a second direction, such as inwardly, to rotate the latching members inwardly to release the locking posts.

Abstract: A concealment holster assembly, capable of being worn in multiple positions, includes a unitary shell, a belt attachment body, a forward belt loop, and a rearward belt loop. The unitary shell is capable of holstering a firearm and has a front side portion, inside portion, and outside portion. The belt attachment body is couplable to the unitary shell and is of unitary construction and includes a complementary shell portion, a forward flange, and a rearward flange. The forward flange and rearward flanges are angled inward. A forward belt loop and rearward belt loop are couplable to the forward and rearward flanges, respectively, to cause the belt attachment body, when worn on a belt, to flex inward toward a body of a wearer and increase concealment of the concealment holster and a firearm when the firearm is holstered.

Abstract: A pouch for carrying a concealed handgun includes a compartment for rapidly accessing extra ammunition. The bag resembles a normal small bag conventionally worn on a user's belt, but is designed to securely hold a handgun and allow rapid employment of the handgun. The ammunition compartment is virtually totally concealed and drops a magazine for a semi-automatic handgun or a rapid reloading apparatus for a revolver directly into the palm of a user's hand.

Abstract: A reversible attachment device comprises a reversible hanger having a piece of hook material on a first side and a piece of loop material on a second side and may optionally be assembled with either side facing an accessory holder. Embodiments of a reversible attachment stabilize and distribute loads from objects in accessory holders. By selecting which side of the reversible hanger faces the accessory adapter, an accessory holder may be suspended from a load-carrying structure having either loop material or hook material. In some embodiments, the hook material and loop material are formed into a sleeve which fits slidably around the reversible hanger. Alternative assembly configurations for an embodiment provide for a range of height adjustment between an accessory holder and a load-carrying structure. Some embodiments include an accessory holder with a reversible attachment device. Other embodiments include a duty belt or other load-carrying structure.

Abstract: A holder for carrying cell phones and other small items is arranged to attach to a belt or other strap, or to a belt loop. The holder is of simple construction, including an elongated backing member and a cover that is attached to the bottom region of the backing member to form a pocket or holster that is open at the top. The backing member is divided near its upper end by a fold to form a first flap and a generally rectangular opening through the backing member, sized and shaped to accommodate a belt loop, is placed adjacent to and below the fold. A second flap is attached to the backing member at a location adjacent to and below the opening and is arranged to fold upwardly to cover the opening and to form a channel for a belt or other strap. The second flap is secured in that position by folding down the first flap and securing it to the second flap.

Abstract: A carrier system for carrying medical device accessories includes a first battery pouch to enclose at least a portion of a first battery and a garment to be worn about a torso. The garment including a plurality of accessory connection features adapted to allow for adjustable attachment of at least the first battery pouch and for adjustable attachment of a medical device controller that is electrically connected to a medical device.

Abstract: An adjustable belt mount includes a belt mount body and a generally L-shaped belt sizing insert. The belt mount body defines a belt aperture adapted to receive a belt therethrough, and first and second belt sizing slots being spaced and extending parallel to each other and communicating with the belt aperture. The belt mount body also includes a forward extension adapted to releasably connect an accessory thereto. The belt aperture is adapted to receive belts of various widths therethrough. The belt sizing insert is arranged in the belt aperture, and includes a planar portion carrying a retaining body extending from a first side thereof and releasably received by either of the first and second belt sizing slots, to accommodate belts of differing widths, and a delimiting portion extending generally perpendicular from a second side thereof. The delimiting portion can thereby form varying predetermined width passageways within the belt aperture.

Abstract: A system for carrying articles from a belt worn on the body of a person or other animate bearer comprises a belt or elongated member (20) with a substantially planar rail (30) borne on the outside surface of the belt and a carrier (50) for articles attached to the rail by a sleeve sewn to the body of the carrier. The carrier (50) may be free to slide along the rail (30) or may be secured at least temporarily to the rail. The carrier (50) thereby can be moved along the rail when worn on the belt so that the bearer can place the carrier (50) in a more comfortable or useful position with respect to the body of the bearer and secure it in that position at least temporarily.

Abstract: A magazine pouch for use with magazines that are generally longitudinal and have a generally rectangular cross-section with two side faces being greater in cross-sectional length than the cross-sectional length of the front and back faces. The magazine pouch includes a rear wall (30) including attachment means (82) that in use fasten the pouch to a user's apparel, and a front wall (32), two side walls (34, 36) and a base (38) define a pocket (40) for selectively holding a magazine. Securing means (42) in use secures the magazine in the pocket and is releasable to allow for the removal of the magazine from within the pocket. The dimensions of the pocket walls (30, 32, 34, 36) define the orientation of the magazine when inserted in the pocket such that the magazine side faces are generally perpendicular to the rear wall (30) and the front and rear faces are parallel to the front and rear walls (30, 32) and therefore the user's body.

Abstract: A system for carrying articles on a user's belt, comprising a belt (10) having multiple loops (22) on its outside surface and an article carrier (1) having a sleeve (40) sewn to the body of the carrier at a first end (42) and detachably connected to the body of the carrier at a second end (44). A stiff tab (60) is sewn at one end thereof into the sewn connection of the body of the carrier to the sleeve. The other end of the tab (64) is unattached and overlapped by the sleeve when the sleeve is wrapped around the belt for supporting the carrier from the belt. The carrier can be moved along the belt and placed in different positions unless the free end of the tab is inserted through a loop on the belt in which case the carrier will be fixed in position with respect to the belt.

The container is adapted to carry equipment in a receiving compartment, and includes a fixating structure for affixing the receiving compartment to the supporting belt and cohesively affixing to the inner belt.

Abstract: A system for carrying articles from a belt worn on the body of a person or other animate bearer comprises a belt or elongated member (20) with a substantially planar rail (30) borne on the outside surface of the belt and a carrier (50) for articles attached to the rail by a sleeve sewn to the body of the carrier. Abstract: An apparatus for attachment to a waistband of a wearer for supporting a base end portion of an elongated rod such as a fishing pole adjacent to the leg of the wearer. The apparatus includes an elongated strap having a main portion which extends from the waistband down the leg of the wearer, a first end removeably attachable to the waistband, and a second end having a first support pocket which receives and supports the base end of the elongated rod. The first support pocket is suspended adjacent to and directly contacts the inner thigh of the wearer creating a fulcrum when the elongated rod is supported therein. The creation of the fulcrum permits the elongated rod to be held by the wearer in a stable manner while transferring a majority of the load of the elongated rod from the arms and shoulders of the wearer to the wearer's legs.

Abstract: A holster for a gun has a body with an interior suitable for the receipt of the gun therein, a belt-receiving first clip assembly removably affixed to one side of the body, and a belt-receiving second clip assembly removably affixed to an opposite side of the body. The clip assemblies are adjustably positioned relative to the body. Each of the clip assemblies includes a clip member and a flexible tab connected to the respective opposite sides of the body.

Abstract: A holster for attaching to an leg of a user and holding a hammer in a position which provides complete freedom of movement of hands and feet of the user and which permits the user to remove the hammer with the same hand employed to use the hammer. The holster is made from a rod-like, slender, and elongated material, and includes an attaching portion attaching to the leg of a user and a holding portion extending from the attaching portion and cradling the head of the hammer therein, with the handle of the hammer extending upwardly therefrom, with the claw of the hammer extending replaceably through one side of the holding portion, and with the bell/poll of the hammer extending replaceably through the other side of the holding portion.

Abstract: A modular leg pack system is shown and described, embodiments of which include a belt or belt sleeve for wearing around the body, and preferably at the top of the hips, and preferably two thigh opposing bags. The thigh bags extend from just below the belt to above the knee. One or more top connectors attach the top of the bag to the belt, and a bottom leg strap extends from the bottom of the bag around the inside of the leg. To assist in natural movement of the bag with the leg, the preferred top connectors have a pivot point that allows the bag to pivot in a direction parallel to the motion of the leg. Additionally, it is preferred to have the top connector rotatable relative to the belt in a plane perpendicular to the outer surface of the belt, and rotatable relative to the bag in a plane perpendicular to the back plane of the bag. Openings of the bags are positioned to be easily accessible by the user, usually on the top of the bag.

Abstract: An adjustable holster securement device comprising a loop attachment for securing the holster to the belt of a user, a connection plate to which a holster can be attached, and an articulated joint for connecting the loop attachment to the connection plate in an articulated manner. The articulated joint comprises two substantially U-shaped members pivotably engaged in respective seatings on opposite sides thereof. The seatings are generally coaxial with parallel to and integral with, respectively, the loop attachment and connection plate. At least one tie-rod is also provided, acting generally parallel to the seatings to connect the substantially U-shaped members to one another and a device for locking the articulated joint arranged between the substantially U-shaped members and the seating, and operable by the tie-rods to control locking and release of the articulated joint.

Abstract: A holder for carrying a tool with a head and handle on a tool belt includes a body of single piece construction including a first portion which is generally co-planar with a first axis. The tool holder further includes a part for attaching the body to the tool belt, and a part for supporting the tool such that the head is generally co-planar with a second axis perpendicular to the first axis, and the handle extends at an inclined angle from the first axis away from a user.

Abstract: A tool-toting device for connection to a belt to be worn about the waist of a tradesman for the purpose of carrying a tool of a type having an elongated handle and angled or transverse head portion includes a support backing associatable as part of the belt; and a tool support spring clip having a first generally horizontally disposed side-spring clip portion having a first and second end and connected to the support backing.

Abstract: The invention involves a mobile phone and strap apparatus for carrying a mobile phone. A mobile phone is provided with openings in the corners of the mobile phone housing through which a flexible line is passed and cooperates with a strap and latch that secures ends of the flexible line. The strap, latch and flexible line are adapted to secure an object between the mobile phone housing, the flexible line and strap when ends of the flexible line are drawn through the latch.

Abstract: An improved belt-loop assembly for hanging goods from a belt primarily used in conjunction with a holster. The belt loop assembly has a tapered belt loop opening and a platform upon which the belt rests. The taper aids in fixedly positioning the assembly along the belt while the platform protects the belt from wear due to belt positioning screws commonly found in belt loop assemblies.

Abstract: A holster assembly for use with a hand-held utility knife having a segmented blade. The holster assembly comprises a plastic holster having a generally hollow interior and a blade well located inside the hollow interior of the holster. The blade well has at least one slot therethrough. By simply twisting the knife, a user may break off the endmost blade segment exposing a fresh cutting edge. The used blade segments are collected inside the blade well.

Abstract: A front pack and belt support assembly including 1) a main front pack assembly which can be collapsed and expanded to achieve a large carrying capacity; 2) a shoulder support strap assembly connected to the main front pack assembly and supported on a shoulder portion of a user thereof; 3) a support frame assembly to provide rigid support to the main front pack assembly; 4) an instrument support assembly connected to the support frame assembly having support means thereon to hold a gun, fishing pole, or tripod for ease of resting and conveyance; 5) a side pack and arm support assembly having pivotal side pocket assemblies pivotally movable from a collapsed to an inclined usage position and having arm support means thereon to support an elbow area of a user thereon; 6) a belt support assembly slidably attached and vertically supported to a user's belt member; and 7) an accessories support assembly having a support receiver assembly to receive a tubular member such as a monopod therein.

Abstract: A holster assembly for use with a hand-held utility knife having a segmented blade. The holster assembly comprises a plastic holster having a generally hollow interior and a blade well located inside the hollow interior of the holster. The blade well has at least one slot therethrough and a guide leading to the slot for a user to guide an endmost blade segment of a utility knife into engagement with the slot. By simply twisting the knife, a user may break off the endmost blade segment exposing a fresh cutting edge. The used blade segments are collected inside the blade well.

Abstract: A firearm retaining apparatus operable to be carried on a user's belt member and positioned at a forward mid portion of the firearm user and having means thereon for retaining and supporting portions of a hunting rifle in vertical or horizontal positions. The firearm retaining apparatus includes 1) a main firearm retainer member of a U-shape and rigid construction; 2) a retainer and flap cover assembly of a flexible construction wrapped vertically about the main firearm retainer member; and 3) a front pocket and cartridge retainer assembly operable to be interconnected to itself and extended horizontally about the main firearm retainer member. The retainer and flap cover assembly is operable to be extended and covered about an outer surface of the main firearm retainer member and providing a rest for the hunting rifle thereon.

Abstract: The belt includes a yieldable flat foam core tapering inwardly from narrow attachment ends outwardly to a wider portion which is positioned adjacent a wearer's back. The foam core serves to provide a measure of back support for the wearer while preventing abrasion of the wearer's hip bones due to the weight of objects suspended from the belt. The narrower portions of the belt which are positioned adjacent the wearer's abdomen provide additional comfort by preventing restriction of movement due to the belt in bending situations. The foam core is covered entirely with a fitted fabric cover for appearance and durability of the foam core. In addition, the fabric cover is trimmed with an abrasion resistant material such as nylon to prevent wear of the fabric cover. The fabric-covered foam core is secured to a strip of webbing material, typically by longitudinal and transverse stitching. The utility belt includes an infinitely adjustable attachment means affixed to the webbing material.

Abstract: A multi-pouch belt that includes a belt, a belt strap, a pouch strap, and at least one pouch/holder. The belt is manufactured in a variety of colors from canvas or leather and is adjustable and waterproof and has an inner side that contains a zippered pouch for holding paper money, an outer side, a first free end, and a second free end. The belt strap is disposed on the outer side of the belt and has a part of hook and loop fasteners disposed thereon. The pouch strap has a part of hook and loop fasteners disposed thereon that is complementary to and releasibly engagable with the part of hook and loop fasteners of the belt strap. Each pouch/holder is removably mounted on the pouch strap and has a loop disposed thereon that removably receives the pouch strap. Each pouch/holder is manufactured in a variety of colors from canvas or leather and is waterproof.

Abstract: A restraining strap includes a waistband for circumferentially transversing the waist of the user having thereon a yoke. The yoke comprises a first length and a second length when extended from the waistband, where each of the first and second lengths has a proximal end fixedly attached to different locations on the waistband. A distal end of each of the first and second lengths are attached one to the other at or near each of the distal ends of the first and second lengths. Restrainers are positioned proximate the distal end to form a holder therebetween. The article may be enclosed by the holder such that the restraining maintains the suspended article from motion relative the user.

Abstract: Competition holsters for use with autoloading pistol and revolver handguns. They include a protrusion with a trigger guard recess and a trigger guard retainer which is cantilevered from the outside of the body into the trigger guard at a compound angle to hold the handgun in the holster. The frame of the handgun extends over an elongated surface at the top of the body. The handgun is, in actuality supported on a cradle at the muzzle region and on the lower side of the trigger guard. A muzzle tensioner in the form of an inverted J is adjustable secured to the body in the muzzle region. A belt loop assembly including mating partial spherical surfaces secures the body for universal spherical angular adjustment. Further adjustments include the compressive force on the trigger guard retainer. All of the adjustments may be made with the holster in place on the shooter's gun belt.
