  • Patent number: 7014084
Abstract: A stapler apparatus of the type using continuous belt-formed staples 200 includes a staple feed claw 25 for advancing the staples 200 sequentially to a stapling position 103, and a drive means 50 for driving the staples 200 drawn to the stapling position 103. A clincher means 40 bends the ends of the staples 200 driven into the sheets and pivots a staple feed pawl 25 interlocked to the staple bending operation of the clincher means 40 for sequentially feeding the staples 200 to the stapling position 103. This construction lightens the load on the drive means to staple sheet stacks, facilitates smooth driving operation of the drive means, and reduces the occurrences of trouble.

  • Patent number: 7000817
Abstract: A nailing gun applicable to oblique rowed nails of different specifications includes a nail box having its upper rear side pivotally combined with the head end of a muzzle to form a pivot and its intermediate portion combined with the arc-shaped guiding slot of the combining member of a handle. Thus, the nail box can be adjusted and positioned at a proper angle for loading oblique rowed nails of different specifications. The nail box has a U-shaped nail-guiding plate fitted in a nail head groove and having its upper end formed with an extending section extending upward and reaching the rear end wall of the muzzle. The extending section of the nail-guiding plate is able to guide oblique rowed nails to smoothly move in the interior of the muzzle whenever the nail box is adjusted at a slant angle for loading oblique rowed nails of different specifications.

  • Patent number: 6991146
Abstract: A stapler having a detached base supporting an anvil and a first magnetic element, and a stapling assembly for ejecting staples from a magazine port. The stapling assembly supports a second magnetic element positioned for magnetic coupling to the base to align the anvil with the magazine port. Accordingly, the staple-driving stapling assembly and detached anvil-supporting base are not mechanically coupled. Instead, the stapling assembly and base are magnetically couplable. The magnetic coupling feature eliminates throat depth limitations and allows for staple placement at any desired location on a sheet of any size. An alignment guide may be provided to visually indicate an approximate location where a driven staple will be placed. The base and stapling assembly may be provided with friction pads for limiting movement of any sheets therebetween while stapling.
