Abstract: A staples push unit of a tacker includes a guide plate located at a staple outlet of the tacker. A motor is located in the tacker and has an output shaft to which a driving gear is connected. A slide and a push plate connected to the slide are movably located in a slot in the tacker. A rack is formed at one side of the slide and engaged with the teeth of the driving gear. A spring board has one end engaged with one end of the slide. When activating the motor, the driving gear drives the rack to move the slide, and the spring board is bent. When the teeth of the driving gear are disengaged from the rack, the spring board bounces back and drives the slide and the push plate to eject a staple. The push plate is guided by the guide plate.

Abstract: A fastener driving apparatus includes a drive mechanism, a drive piston disposed with in a cylinder and operatively coupled to the drive mechanism, and an anvil coupled to the drive piston. The apparatus also preferably comprises a biasing element for temporarily holding the drive piston at BDC of the piston cylinder. The drive mechanism is capable of selectively applying force on the drive piston to move the drive piston away from BDC of the piston cylinder. When the drive mechanism engages the drive piston to move the drive piston away from BDC, a vacuum is generated in the cylinder, which vacuum, after the drive mechanism disengages the drive piston, acts on the drive piston to cause the piston to move toward BDC and the anvil to drive a fastener. Abstract: A fastener driving apparatus for driving fasteners into a substrate. The fastener driving apparatus is a combination of a motor driven linear motion converter; a compression cylinder; an expansion cylinder and a valve arrangement. The linear motion converter converts a rotational motion of a motor to a linear motion of a compression piston within the compression cylinder causing a gas within the compression cylinder to be compressed. The compressed gas is communicated to the expansion cylinder through the valve arrangement wherein the compressed gas expands causing an anvil coupled to an expansion piston within the expansion cylinder to move axially. The axial movement of the anvil causes a fastener to be driven into the substrate. • Patent number: 8763874
Abstract: A portable linear fastener driving tool is provided that drive staples, nails, or other linearly driven fasteners. The tool uses a gas spring principle, in which a cylinder filled with compressed gas is used to quickly force a piston through a driving stroke movement, while a driver also drives a fastener into a workpiece. The piston/driver is then moved back to its starting position by use of a rotary-to-linear lifter, and the piston again compresses the gas above the piston, thereby preparing the tool for another driving stroke. An improved lifter design has modified lifting pins that reduce the side-forces on the driver. A pivotable latch acts as a safety device, by preventing the driver from making a full driving stroke at an improper time. An improved latch design has a more durable catching surface.

Abstract: A refill for staples, which can not be removed from a cartridge unless all sheet-type connected staples in a stapler body are delivered. A refill for staples is installed in a detachable manner in a stapler body, and includes a refill body which holds the sheet-type connected staples, and a pressing member which presses the sheet-type connected staples. A delivery port delivering the sheet-type connected staples and a locking plate provided with a locking section which locks a locked section in the stapler body are formed in the refill body. When the sheet-type connected staples are pressed, the pressing member is engaged with the locking plate not to allow rotation of the locking plate, and, when the sheet-type connected staples are not pressed, the pressing member is disengaged from the locking plate to allow rotation of the locking plate. Thereby, the locking section of the locking plate can be removed from the locked section in the stapler body.

  • Patent number: 8387718
Abstract: A portable linear fastener driving tool is provided that drive staples, nails, or other linearly driven fasteners. The tool uses a gas spring principle, in which a cylinder filled with compressed gas is used to quickly force a piston through a driving stroke movement, while a driver also drives a fastener into a workpiece. The piston/driver is then moved back to its starting position by use of a rotary-to-linear lifter, and the piston again compresses the gas above the piston, thereby preparing the tool for another driving stroke. The driver has protrusions along its edges that contact the lifter, which lifts the driver during a return stroke. A pivotable latch is controlled to move into either an interfering position or a non-interfering position with respect to the driver protrusions, and acts as a safety device, by preventing the driver from making a full driving stroke at an improper time.
