Abstract: The invention relates to a packaging system including box and wrapping papers of conventional type having a square folded bottom and side folds providing a box shaped assembly where the proposed assembly can be used for packaging of various types of items. The assembly is easy to use and can be used for packaging of consumer goods, gifts, surprise or mystery items, in promotional schemes or brand activation and marketing activities.

Abstract: A blank configured to form a package is provided. The blank may include a cover panel, a back panel, a top panel, and an elevating panel. The elevating panel and the back panel may cooperate to form a compartment when formed into a package. The top panel may include apertures that align with aligning apertures in the elevating panel. The cover panel may be pivoted between a closed configuration in which the apertures are covered and an open configuration in which the apertures are uncovered. Accordingly, a user may view the contents of the compartment when the cover panel is in the open configuration. The compartment may be employed to store cartridges for an aerosol delivery device. A related method for forming the blank into the package is also provided.

Abstract: A packing box and method of forming a packing box provides a bottom plate, a pair of first side plates which upon final assembly are bent with respect to the bottom plate so as to face each other, a pair of second side plates which upon final assembly are bent with respect to the bottom plate so as to facing each other, and a pair of flaps at both sides of each of the first side plates which upon final assembly are bent with respect to the first side plate. Each of the flaps includes a first flap portion and a second flap portion, and before final assembly, the first flap portion is connected to a first side plate and the second flap portion is connected to the first flap portion, bent with respect to the first flap portion and affixed to one of the second side plates.

The developed object of packing box comprises: first strip foldable inwardly on fold lines arranged equidistantly and perpendicularly to strip lengthwise direction, for forming inner-lateral surface; second strip including three separate square bottom-boards continuous with first strip via fold lines; third strip continuous with central bottom-board via fold line and foldable inwardly on fold lines arranged equidistantly, for forming outer-lateral surface; and fourth strip continuous with third strip via fold line, in which buckling portions and upper lids are arranged alternately in lengthwise direction. Central buckling portion has square hole, and the width of the lid is larger than one-half of one side of bottom-board. One of the lids has a lid-cutting line formed in location that corresponds to square hole when one lid is inserted under the other.

A closure member or lid (14) is pivotably attached to the main body for movement between an open position in which articles within the inner volume can be dispensed and a closed position in which the articles are retained within the container. To assist the user in opening and closing the container, an over-center mechanism (34) is provided which is configured to bias the lid (14) towards the open and closed positions. The container (10) is preferably formed from a unitary blank of foldable material (48) and the over-center mechanism may comprise two co-operating panels (36, 40) connected between the main body (12) and the lid (14). A blank (48) for forming the container and a method of dispensing articles from the container are also disclosed.

Abstract: A recycling container with a weather-resistant coating is described. The container may be provided in a variety of configurations to accept recyclable waste or other items of trash or refuse. The recycling container may itself be recycled when its useful life has ended. The various configurations of container may be combined to form a modular recycling center as desired by the user.

Abstract: A receptacle includes a first panel, a second panel opposite the first panel, and a third panel contiguous with the first and second panels on different sides. An opening is formed between a first side of the first panel and a second side of the second panel. A lid covers the opening. A first portion of the lid is contiguous with the first side of the first panel and with a second portion of the lid that folds into an interior of the receptacle. One of the first and second panels has a perforation extending from a first end of the second side of the one of the first and second panels to a second end of the second side of the one of the first and second panels. A portion of the perforation is positioned away from the second side of the one of the first and second panels.

Abstract: A box for easy dispensing of solid pourable product has a slide with a portion fixed, preferably by adhesive, to the top, but otherwise detachable from the box, preferably along a perforation. One of the sides of the box has an opening near the top of the box, covered by the slide. Upon lifting the top of the box and thereby detaching the slide, the opening is uncovered enabling the contents to flow from inside the box. The easy-dispensing box is constructed by starting from a single sheet of blank stock, and folding the sides, preferably into a tube box with sealed ends. Advantageously, the slide and the stops end up inside the box and properly located, and both ends of the box may be sealed.

Abstract: A carrier for holding a plurality of containers. The carrier comprises panels that extend at least partially around an interior of the carrier. The panels comprise at least one bottom panel, at least one top panel, a front panel, a back panel, and at least two side panels. The at least one top panel is foldably connected to one of the front panel and the back panel. The at least one top panel has a handle portion for forming a handle of the carrier and a retaining portion having container receiving openings for receiving the containers in the carrier. The carrier includes a reinforcement flap adjacent at least one of the container receiving openings for contacting at least one of the plurality of containers.

Abstract: A novel candy or mints box has an opening near the top of the box and an underlying slide that is moveable sideways across the opening. Preferably the top portion of the box includes a flap with an opening, and the flap extends over a corresponding opening in the front side such that the openings align, and the slide lies between the front side of the box and the top flap. The slide also preferably further includes a stop member and the box has a corresponding catch member, such that the slide is always contained within the box. Advantageously, the box is formed from a single blank piece of paper or cardboard stock, and folded in a particular sequence such that the slide ends up inside the box without the need for a separate insertion step.

Abstract: A package for dispensing pourable solid product includes a box having a pair of heart-shaped sides and a moveable slide for selectively opening and closing the product dispensing opening in the bottom portion of the box. Preferably the moveable slide is hingedly connected to an actuation panel extending down a side of the box. The package further preferably includes a wrapping applied to the box with a tear-away portion covering only the opening and slide, such that the tear away portion can be removed and the remainder of the wrapping stays in place decorating the box. Preferably and to great cost advantage, the box is formed from a single blank sheet of paper cardboard stock.

Abstract: A box for conveniently storing and dispensing material has a front wall, a back wall, a first and a second side wall, a first one of the side walls having an opening and an inside surface, a top and a bottom flap, and a slide that is in contact with the inside surface of the first side wall, with the slide having an opening. The front wall, back wall, first and second side walls, and top and bottom flaps are interconnected so as to form a box, the slide being movable between an open position in which the slide opening substantially aligns with the side wall opening and a closed position in which the slide opening is entirely out of alignment with the front wall opening, thereby closing the box. As one option, the slide may have sides which are cut to extend generally parallel to the top flap when the box is in the form of a flat blank prior to box formation.

Abstract: A resealable hard box cigarette pack is provided with a window type opening extending across a portion of the pack top wall and also a portion of the front wall of the pack. The window is covered by a closure that may be resealed to the pack body either through insertion of a tab on the closure into a tab receiving slot in the front wall of the pack or by applying a permanent package adhesion along the outer edges of the closure with the edges of the openings in the top wall and the front wall.

Abstract: A packaging system for storing and dispensing pourable items includes a box that has an opening. An inner liner inside the box has a removable portion defined by at least one line of weakness. The removable portion is positioned adjacent to the opening in the box. The packaging system has a first mode for longer term storage in which the removable portion remains intact to seal the inner liner, and a second mode for dispensing the contents of the inner liner through the opening in which the removable portion has been at least partially removed from the inner liner. In one embodiment, the box comprises a front wall having an opening and an inside surface, a back wall, a first and a second side wall, a top and a bottom flap, and a slide that is in contact with the inside surface of the front wall, the slide having an opening.
