Abstract: A box for shipping, display and or/storage of a cassette, such as a video cassette, is folded from a single sheet of material. The folded box has a top, bottom, front, back and opposing end portions. The front portion includes a top edge defining a cutaway portion. The back portion includes a removable closure panel attached to the back along a perforated line, the perforated line also defining a cutaway portion opposing the front cutaway portion. When the box is folded and closed it may be used for shipping and/or storage. When the removable closure panel is torn along said perforation to form a sleeve container for the cassette, the opposing cutaway sections provide means for grasping opposite sides of the cassette.

Abstract: One end of a skillet style carton is closed by minor closure flaps (16,17) foldably attached to opposite side walls (3,4), an overlying inner major closure flap (11), preferably adhered to the minor closure flaps, and an outer major closure flap (13) overlying and adhered to the inner major closure flap (11). The carton is opened by tearing to disconnect the inner major closure flap (11) from its respective wall (1) and a tuck flap (14), initially overlying the outside of the carton, is tucked inside the carton on re-closure.

Abstract: A box structure with increased resistance to the opening of its base due to the weight of its contents has in the closure tab for its base a shaped notch which when the box is closed forms a slot parallel and adjacent to the folding line of said tab. From each of the relative box closure tabs, in correspondence with said slot, there projects a tooth which extends to touch the inner side wall of the box, the width of said teeth being just smaller than the length of the slot.

Abstract: A top closure arrangement for a container having opposed pairs of major and minor side wall panels forming a tubular structure and including opposed pairs of inner and outer closure flaps joined to upper end edges of the side wall panels with the inner closure flaps each having foldably joined to opposite sides thereof support tabs formed from material cut from adjacent portions of said outer closure flaps and folded downwardly for engagement with adjacent surfaces of related side wall panels to help support the inner closure flaps when they are in a closed position.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a blank and carton for packaging ice cream or the like comprising hingedly connected cover, rear, bottom and front panels. Left and right end flaps extending from each of the cover, rear, bottom and front panel end flaps. A pocket means formed in each of the carton ends for receiving a portion of the cover panel end flaps adjacent the rear panel for reforming the carton subsequent to the initial opening thereof. The pocket means includes rear panel end flaps forming exterior liners and the corresponding front and bottom panel end flaps forming interior liners. Membrane flaps are hingedly connected to the front panel and left and right front panel end flaps for forming a substantially continuous lip along a portion of the outer periphery of the carton.

Abstract: This invention relates to a stackable file storage carton characterized by an open-front box fitted with an integrally formed access opening cover hingedly attached to the bottom of the box along the front edge of the latter for movement from a closed position into an open one forming an extension of said box bottom. The access opening cover is comprised of a panel sized and shaped to cover the access opening. This panel is bordered along its free edges by upstanding fence-forming flanges cooperating therewith and with one another to define a tray which in open position is adapted to receive and support a file slid forwardly from within the box. The front flange is formed to provide a pocket extending lengthwise thereof which is open at both ends to receive and hold tabs depending from the front edges of the flanges bordering the sides of the cover panel.

Abstract: A slot-less, one-piece container formed of scored cardboard, or its equivalent, the shape of such container being sustained by locking flaps which form interference fits with contiguous side-wall members and one of which simultaneously overlaps bellows-folded joining members between side members to keep the side-wall members in normal relationship to a base member, the locking flaps being in opposing pairs, each pair having a pair of abutting end members, one pair of end members lying on the base portion and the other pair of end members lying on the cover portion of the container.

Abstract: An octagonal carton formed from an integral prescored blank having a bottom wall with at least three side walls attached thereto. An opposite pair of the side walls include diagonal corner wall structures which are foldable with the side walls to form diagonal corner walls. The lid is attached to the third wall and is foldable over the two opposite side walls and secured to a fourth side wall attached to the bottom wall or secured by a wall on the lid edge to the bottom wall to form the fourth side wall. The lid and fourth wall structures include various securing structures to secure the carton when erected.

Abstract: A carton for food products or the like comprises a combination lid and tray with a bottom locking means for securing the lid and tray when the carton is closed. The bottom locking means comprises a locking tongue integral with an extended portion of the lid component which engages a locking slot formed in the bottom of the tray component. The locking tongue comprises a tab element formed as a part of a flap foldably attached to an extension of the front wall of the lid. The locking slot comprises a cut out formed substantially along the fold line between the bottom wall and front wall of the tray.

Abstract: A carton for packaging ice cream, having several novel features, including full bottom panel end flaps which have a recess along a major portion of the outer marginal edge thereof which underlies the carton cover panel and front panel end flaps which have, along the upper edges thereof, lips coinciding with the recesses in the bottom panel full end flaps, and rear panel end flaps which overlie the other flaps and are secured thereto by single lines of adhesive extending along the edges of the front panel end flaps and up to the cover panel end flap lower edges or up onto the cover panel end flaps, depending upon whether or not the rear panel end flaps comprise breakaway tabs to be adhesively secured to the cover panel end flaps, as well as additional advantageous features, carton blanks and tubes for producing the same, and method of closing the carton ends, are all disclosed.

Abstract: A disposable ice, food or beverage carrier which is fabricated of corrugated fiberboard materials. A single piece of bendable corrugated fiberboard is factory die cut and scored in such manner that it may be easily folded into a container assembly for use by picnickers or other persons requiring a temporary insulative container. The score and cut-line designs disclosed yield a highly durable temporary food container.

Abstract: A tray type container constructed usually of a cardboard, corrugated paperboard, synthetic resin sheet or the like to transport, display and storing various products, especially a unit number of bottled, canned or cardboard packed products, for instance a bevarage, and a blank plate therefor. The container comprises essentially a generally rectangular bottom panel, two pairs of opposite upright side panels connected with the bottom panel, and a pair of upper strips, each being connected to concerned side panel to partially close an open top defined by the four side panels.
