Return From Liquid Pump Outlet To Supply Holder (e.g., Tank Filling, Mixing Or Pump Unloading) Patents (Class 239/127)
  • Patent number: 11401019
Abstract: An objective of the disclosure is to provide a simulation method for a two-stage plunger pressurized common rail fuel system of a marine low-speed engine. The method includes: first setting initial status parameters, such as a control step of a system model, a total time of a calculation process, and structure parameters and pressures of components; and then establishing a mathematical model of a fuel booster unit, a mathematical model of a high-pressure fuel pipe and a mathematical model of a fuel injector based on a MATLAB simulation platform, and connecting input and output parameters of the models to realize data transfer between the models. By considering one-dimensional (1D) spatial fluctuations in the high-pressure fuel pipe, the disclosure establishes a high-precision model of the fuel system, which provides an effective method for designing and calculating detailed pressures in the common rail fuel system.

Abstract: In applications such as manufacture of shielded radio-frequency modules where costly metallic paint is sprayed to form a conductive layer, it is desirable to reduce the amount of paint being utilized, and to maintain an acceptable level of suspension of paint particles in solution. A closed recirculation system can be configured to provide such desirable features, and can include a reservoir for holding a volume of metallic paint, a spray apparatus for spraying metallic paint received from the reservoir, and a recirculator for recirculating the metallic paint that is not sprayed back to the reservoir. In some embodiments, the recirculator can include a compact peristaltic pump that allows use of shorter fluid paths in the closed recirculation system, as well as a desired level of agitation to quickly achieve the acceptable level of suspension and maintain the suspension for an extended period of time.

Abstract: During fabrication of shielded radio-frequency modules where costly metallic paint is sprayed to form a conductive layer, it is desirable to reduce the amount of paint being utilized, and to reduce the likelihood of accumulation of metal particles along various paths. A closed recirculation system can be provided to yield such desirable features, and can include a reservoir for holding a volume of metallic paint, a spray apparatus for spraying metallic paint received from the reservoir, and a recirculator for recirculating the metallic paint that is not sprayed back to the reservoir. In some embodiments, the spray apparatus can be implemented so as to have reduced dimensions, and include a mechanism for switching between a spray mode and a recirculate mode. Such a spray apparatus can reduce the amount of paint being utilized, and also reduce accumulation of metal particles in the spray apparatus.

Abstract: A sprayer has a tank for holding a spray solution that is applied to a ground or turf surface. The sprayer includes an agitation system having a plurality of agitation nozzles that extend into the tank that are accessible from outside the tank and can be removed and replaced without using tools. The sprayer may include a rinse system carried onboard the sprayer which is segregated from the spray and agitation systems to avoid contaminating the rinse liquid prior to the time the rinse liquid is sprayed into the tank through rinse nozzles. The rinse nozzles include upwardly and downwardly directed nozzle ports and a bottom spinner for thoroughly cleaning all interior surfaces of the tank. The sprayer may also include a chemical eductor mounted on the side of the tank, whose weight is counterbalanced by springs, and which easily pivots between lower and upper positions on the tank.

Abstract: A pressure washer device is provided that employs an unloader bypass valve that directs a selective amount of fluid via a small diameter bypass line back to a water storage tank. The small amount of fluid allows for the pump to remain working and introduces cooler water into a bypass circuit, thereby allowing the thermal relief valve to be omitted. The diameter of the bypass line is of such a diameter to prevent siphonage of the detergent associated with the pressure washer system into the water storage tank as well.

Abstract: A multi-container manual-pump-operated backpack sprayer including an open-topped backpack enclosure, a plurality (preferably three) modular liquid containers removably seated in the enclosure, a hand-lever-operated pump/accumulator combination, and a user-controllable manifold for selecting a particular chemical from the containers for administration through a spray wand. Chemical is carried to the pressure chamber by manually pumping. The pump draws liquid from a manifold-selected supply container outward through tubes to the manifold, which has a console of valves. Separate return tubes are provided for each chemical from the manifold back to the containers of origin, and the manifold allows convenient flushing of each chemical back to its container of origin. This ensures that chemicals are not mixed or cross-contaminated and avoids waste since all residual is returned back to its respective container. The manifold is conveniently carried at the hip for ease of access.
