Adjustable Support Patents (Class 239/280.5)
  • Patent number: 11065484
Abstract: Disclosed is an adjustable and portable fire protection sprinkler system. The device consists of a sprinkler head mounted on an adjustable height center pole connected to adjustable legs, forming a foldable tripod-like configuration. The legs and center pole have inner and outer tubes arranged for telescopic movement relative to each other, for adjusting the height of the pole and the lengths of the legs. The sprinkler head is connected to a rubber hose which is threaded through the top of the center pole and connected to a water source at the bottom. The tube stretches and retracts inside the pole corresponding to the pole height. A collar around the pole connected to the legs, wherein the legs connected to the end of the pole by metal strips. This allows for sliding up and down; increasing or decreasing the triangular base parameter. The base is also defined by the length of the legs and is adjusted to maintain the tripod stability.

Abstract: A washing apparatus with an adjustable water spraying head includes a water inlet tube, a water guiding tube and a water spraying head. A second connecting base of the water guiding tube engages with a first connecting base of the water inlet tube. A plurality of first positioning holes that are against a first positioning unit of the water inlet tube are circularly formed at the engaging side. The water spraying head is plugged into a water outlet end of the water guiding tube, and a second positioning unit is located at an outer periphery of a connecting tube. The second positioning unit is against a second spring and wedged in a second positioning hole of the water guiding tube. According to the structure stated above, the adjustment of the water spraying head is more convenient without frequently moving the water inlet tube, which causes water to spray randomly.

Abstract: A pressure washer apparatus and method comprising a telescoping tube section which contains a hose. There is a forward outlet section having an outlet housing with a quick disconnect to the forward end of the hose in the telescoping tube section. A control section is located at the rear end of the telescoping tube section and makes a second quick disconnect connection to the hose. Releasable connectors are provided for the tube sections to lock the tube sections in place, and these comprise tapered threaded gripping fingers which combine with a locking nut with the threads of the two of the gripping fingers, and the locking nut having a taper end and thread configuration enabling the connection to be accomplished by only a very short rotation of the compression nut.

Abstract: A two-way hydraulic cylinder assembly which is operated in “pump up” or “pump down” modes is used to position a boom/tower unit having a snow gun at the end of the boom. The assembly has a third “locked” that prevents any hydraulic fluid flow. In the pump down mode, the assembly is capable of automatically routing hydraulic fluid flow to enable the unit to free fall if its weight and gravity force is greater than an opposing force. In a specific embodiment, the cylinder assembly includes a two-way hydraulic cylinder which is attached to a tank forming a hydraulic fluid reservoir. A manual reciprocable pump is connected by a first one-way conduit to the reservoir when the pump is on the fill stroke. A second conduit partly connects the pump outlet on a discharge stroke with a first end chamber of the cylinder to lengthen the cylinder and connects the second end chamber with the reservoir.

Abstract: A water spray pistol includes a barrel, an elbow pipe fastened to the barrel, a pivoting seat fastened to the elbow pipe, and a nozzle head fastened to the pivoting seat. The pivoting seat is provided with a pivoting shaft and a locating pin. The nozzle head has a pivoting portion which is provided with a series of locating slots and an angle scale. The pivoting portion of the nozzle head is pivotally mounted on the pivoting shaft. As the pivoting portion makes a turn on the pivoting shaft, the locating pin of the pivoting seat is retained in one of the locating slots of the pivoting portion of the nozzle head, so as to locate securely the nozzle head. The angular adjustment of the nozzle head is measured by the angle scale of the pivoting portion.
