The valve is configured to control a water flow rate from the internal fluid passage of the waterway to the spray head. The valve includes a valve body that surrounds the port and a control member operatively coupled to the valve body and surrounding at least a portion of the valve body. Rotation of the control member and valve body relative to the waterway provides a variable adjustment of the water flow rate to the spray head.

Abstract: An online monitor for trace sodium in high-purity water, and an online monitoring method and device thereof are provided. Under the control of an embedded industrial computer, an injection-calibration system conveys calibrated water samples and to-be-measured water samples to a flame atomization system continuously and stably. The flame atomization system forms a negative pressure field using a high-purity hydrogen-oxygen mixture as carrier gas, draws in the to-be-measured water samples for atomization, mixing and droplet separation, and then ignites a characteristic spectrum which emits sodium at a high-temperature inner cone. A photoelectric sensor system quickly scans the characteristic spectrum of sodium, and outputs a second-order differential modulation sodium spectrum after removing background interferences.

A first connection is stationary with respect to a housing of the fast-tool servo, for a cooling lubricant source and an outlet, which is in fluid connection with the first connection, for delivery of a cooling lubricant jet to the lathe tool. The nozzle may be a nozzle for exhausting an air flown from an entry port of a cylindrical flow channel to an exit port of the cylindrical flow channel, and a plurality of the nozzles may be discontinuously installed along the frame.

Abstract: An external sprinkler system for use on homes is herein disclosed. It is designed to prevent the ignition of the roof structure from glowing ashes or embers from a nearby wild fire or structure fire. The sprinkler system would use a series of nozzles connected to a common manifold and integrated therein a building structure's roof vents. The piping connecting the manifold is connected to a water supply via a control valve mounted at grade level. Control equipment provides switching between a public water supply and home cisterns. Runoff water is captured by the existing gutter system and recycled through the system. During activation, the system soaks the roof and house and makes it very difficult for ignition from an external source to take place. The system provides manual activation and remote activation from a cell phone or fire station.

Abstract: The present invention provides a deicing device for spraying anti-icing agents over a transport surface, such as paved road or bridge, to protect the transport surface from snow deposition and ice formation. The deicing device that is surface mounted to the transport surface has a pavement sensor to determine when the deicing device is turned on and off to spray the anti-icing agents. The deicing device comprises a supporting housing, a spray puck having a plurality of nozzles and jet channels connected to the nozzles for spraying anti-icing agents, a lock ring to immobilize the spray buck within the supporting housing, and an O-ring for sealing the anti-icing agents from leaking. The spray puck can be rotated within the supporting housing to change a spray direction. The jet channels have round corners, such as parabolic shape cross-section, to prevent from collection of dirt or debris.

Each wheel suspension assembly includes a strut assembly wherein the strut assembly is connected to the chassis at a pivot and to a respective wheel, and a dual action hydraulic cylinder that is connected to both the strut assembly at a point distal from the pivot and the chassis of the vehicle. Motion of the strut assembly around the pivot is affected by action of the hydraulic cylinder. In some embodiments, the dual action hydraulic cylinders are in fluid communication with the diagonally opposite hydraulic cylinder such that when one cylinder moves into an extended or retracted position the other diagonally opposite cylinder is urged into the same position. In some embodiments, the wheel suspension assemblies are attached to slidable drawer assemblies on each side of the vehicle.

Abstract: The system for delivery of insecticide provides a portable enclosure for delivering insecticide to an infested tree trunk. The system includes an annular shell disposed around with the trunk of the tree that defines an annular tank. An annular base supports the wall(s) of the annular shell and has a liquid impermeable membrane attached thereto that can be wrapped around the base of the tree trunk to prevent pesticide seepage into the ground. A pump delivers insecticide into the annular tank at an upper end of the tank. A drain hose attached to the base of the tank returns insecticide to the pump for recirculation. The pump is actuated in pulsating mode to agitate insecticide in the tank, causing waves of sufficient pressure to induce the insecticide to penetrate deeply through any bores in the trunk to kill both adult insects and larvae.

The umbrella body comprises a plurality of upper spokes and lower spokes, an upper spoke holder, a lower spoke holder and a shaft portion. One end of each upper spoke and lower spoke are respectively engaged with the upper and lower spoke holder such that the upper and lower spokes are radially disposed respectively. The other end of each lower spoke supports the corresponding upper spoke. The sprinkler device comprises a multi-link nozzle, a main hose, a plurality of tubes and spouts. One end of each tube connects with its corresponding secondary nozzle of the multi-link nozzle, and the other end thereof connected with a spout. Water is channeled through the multi-link nozzle to each tube and sprayed by each spout.
