Including Valve Means In Flow Line Patents (Class 239/569)
  • Patent number: 7500619
Abstract: A method and apparatus for reducing the effective precipitation rate of an irrigation sprinkler during an irrigation cycle without disrupting the supply of pressurized water from the source opening and closing the inlet to the sprinkler riser at timed intervals through the use of a flow stop valve assembly disposed at the base of the riser, and which includes a lost motion piston and cylinder assembly and first and second flow control devices which control the time the flow stop valve is in the open and closed conditions during the irrigation cycle.

  • Patent number: 7500618
Abstract: A valve device has a pressure chamber, which is connected to a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet and retains liquid, and a pressure regulator decreasing the pressure in the pressure chamber to a predetermined level. The pressure regulator has a pressure receiving member. When the pressure in the pressure chamber becomes lower than the predetermined level, the pressure receiving member is elastically deformed in an inward direction of the pressure chamber. The pressure regulator generates actuation force greater than the pressing force produced by the elastic deformation of the pressure receiving member. The pressure regulator is configured to be opened by the actuation force. When the pressure regulator is open, a fluid supply from the liquid inlet to the pressure chamber is permitted. It is thus possible to minimize the valve device.

  • Patent number: 7150415
Abstract: A spray valve is configured with a fluid path that always provides dynamic water flow on both opposite surfaces of the seating flange of the valve stem when the valve is almost completely closed and when the valve is just beginning to be opened. This equalization of dynamic pressure from the incoming water flow tends to reduce the frequency of vibration that is imposed upon the valve stem and biasing member by the incoming water flow. A check valve is built into the spray valve, which has a trigger lock and a selectively removable spray disk. The valve has an outer sleeve that surrounds the valve's base member and defines a gap therebetween and is formed of mechanical shock-resilient, heat-insulating material.

  • Patent number: 7134617
Abstract: The invention intends to prevent the occurrence of a phenomenon that air is sucked through an ejection port formed at a nozzle end when a plunger rod is retracted to move away from a valve seat. In a method or apparatus for ejecting liquid droplets in which a liquid under regulated pressure, the liquid being stored in a container as required, is ejected while it is caused to fly in the form of liquid droplets from a valve ejection port, bubbles are prevented from being mixed into the liquid through the ejection port by controlling a supply amount of the liquid in a manner being able to follow a pressure difference between the ejection port and a flow passage in a valve body. The liquid is continuously ejected at a high-speed tact. The ejection port is opened with a plunger rod retracted by air pressure, and the liquid droplet is ejected through the ejection port with the plunger rod advanced by a resilient force of a spring.

  • Tap
    Patent number: 7090154
Abstract: A tap has a flexible hose for delivering water and a support for the flexible hose. The support comprises a channel with an open mouth along its length. The flexible hose is removably mounted in the channel such that it is supported along at least the majority of its length and can be removed by lifting out of the mouth of the channel. When removed from its support the flexible hose extends the reach of the tap, and when mounted in the support it is kept in an orderly position where it does not interfere with e.g. washing and cooking. The tap can be wall or deck mounted. Preferably the channel is U-shaped and has a semi-circular cross section, which conforms to the shape of the hose. The hose may have a spray head at its distal end.

  • Patent number: 7083118
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for mixing a liquid such as fertilizer with water flow in a sprinkler pipeline where the liquid is timely dispensed over a period of time from a fertilizer chamber into a mixing chamber for mixing with the water before re-entering the pipeline. The device has a flexible diaphragm that sealingly separates a mixing chamber from a fertilizer chamber. A central disk is fixedly carried by the diaphragm and is biased by a first spring that applies a restoring force upon displacement of the central disk. A valve seat on an axial extension of the central disk extending into the mixing chamber is so dimensioned and proportioned to seat a pin holder fixed to an adjuster holder upon engagement by the pin holder. The adjuster holder is responsive to a second spring and the water pressure in the mixing chamber.

  • Patent number: 7066402
Abstract: A Spraying assembly for spraying liquids for agricultural purposes is provided whose respective sprayer valves attached to a common liquid supply line are at least configured in the form of valve housings whose pair of valve channels share a common distributor bore. This distributor bore allows connecting the bodies of valve housings in one of two positions in order that, provided that they are connected using a t-shaped fitting, they may be arranged either with their valve bores lined up in rows extending to the front or rear of the liquid supply line, as well as ahead of or behind the liquid supply line and aligned parallel thereto. Since one embodiment also provides a rotatable pipe-T joint, the dual-sprayer-nozzle valve units may also be arranged beneath the liquid supply line, which yields a large number of opportunities for laying out the sprayer nozzles, in spite of the simple means available for connecting them.
