Patent number: 7044404Abstract: A fluid delivery device for supplying fluids, particularly automotive fluids supplied to fluid reservoirs. To attain this, a vessel configured to hold a liquid includes a pressurized gas inlet configured to receive gas into the vessel through a passageway in an integral handle upon actuation of a handle-mounted trigger. Liquid is displaced from the vessel by the gas. In an embodiment, the trigger includes a stem having a solid portion and a hollow portion, and actuation of the trigger aligns the hollow portion with the passageway such that gas may flow. Liquid flows through a hose extending from the vessel.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2004Date of Patent: May 16, 2006Inventor: Michael A. Kricheldorf

Patent number: 7032842Abstract: In a spray element for a spray head for spraying the molds of pressure casting machines, a control piston for the release of the parting agent supply is disposed beside the spray nozzle and a connecting passage opens in a chamber of the housing in which one end of the control piston is sealingly guided, while its second end lies with a sealing ring before a chamber fed with parting agent. In the case of the application of control air the sealing ring is shifted out of its cylindrical section 26 into the chamber, so that the feed of parting agent to the spray nozzle is released. If the control air is shut off, then the sealing ring closes the delivery of the parting agent, and the second, larger end of the control piston exercises upon its return movement a reverse suction effect on the connecting passage. Any after-dripping of parting agent is securely prevented.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 2004Date of Patent: April 25, 2006Assignee: Oskar Frech GmbH & Co. Publication number: 20030071139Abstract: A liquid injection apparatus 10 comprises an injection device 15, and an electro-magnetic injection valve 14 for ejecting pressurized fuel into the injection device. An ejection hole in the electro-magnetic injection valve is connected to a hollow cylindrical hermetically sealed space, which in turn is connected to a liquid ejection nozzle, through a liquid filling port, a liquid supply passage, and a chamber which are included in the injection device. By means of allowing the electro-magnetic injection valve to eject the pressurized fuel at an angle of inclination relative to the center axis of the hollow cylindrical hermetically sealed space, flows of fuel are produced across a wide area in the hermetically sealed space so that large-sized air bubbles are prevented from being formed in the hermetically sealed space.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 1, 2002Publication date: April 17, 2003Applicant: NGK Insulators, Ltd.Inventors: Takao Ohnishi, Toshikazu Hirota

Patent number: 6533187Abstract: The spray gun includes a primary port for receiving a primary material such as adhesive or similar materials, for dispensing. The spray gun further includes a secondary port to receive an aerosol-based cleaner which is stored in an aerosol container within the handle of the spray gun. The valves associated with the primary and secondary ports are sequenced such that during ordinary depression of the trigger to apply the primary material, the aerosol-based cleaner is momentarily “poofed” through the nozzle to clean the nozzle prior to the application of the primary material. After the primary material has been applied and the trigger is released, the aerosol-based cleaner is again momentarily “poofed” through the nozzle to clean the nozzle.Type: GrantFiled: February 14, 2001Date of Patent: March 18, 2003Assignee: Illinois Tool Works Inc.Inventor: Kevin J. Patent number: 6520427Abstract: A pistol nozzle is provided with a flow control structure which is formed of a main body, an inner rack, an inner rack, a control lever, and two switching members. The two switching members are used to actuate the outer rack to slide toward one side to engage the inner rack so as to locate securely the control lever. When the outer rack is actuated to slide toward other side to disengage the inner rack, the control lever is set free.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2002Date of Patent: February 18, 2003Assignee: Shin Tai Spurt Water of the Garden Tools Co., Ltd.Inventor: Chin-Yuan Chen

Publication number: 20030029932Abstract: A pump apparatus has an electric motor having an impeller fixed to a rotating axis thereof driven based on signals from an injection control unit to rotate in a normal direction and, then, switched to rotate in a reverse direction so that, when the motor is rotated in the normal direction, the washer liquid is sucked from a second intake conduit and discharged via a first discharge port from a first injection nozzle and, when the motor is rotated in the reverse direction, the washer liquid is sucked from a first intake conduit and discharged via a second discharge port from a second injection nozzle. Since the washer liquid is not injected at the same time from the first and second injection nozzles, an injection amount per unit time of the washer liquid is relatively small, which makes the pump apparatus more compact.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 31, 2002Publication date: February 13, 2003Inventors: Hiroyuki Nakano, Tsuneo Fukushima

Publication number: 20030015607Abstract: The inventive device comprises at least one spraying device (1) and several supply lines (8) for supplying said spraying device with the coating product, said lines being linked to a connecting assembly (3). Each downstream end (6) of a line is provided with a gate valve which can be controlled by an actuator (30) which is itself controlled and which is positioned at the entrance to a product supply pipe (2) for the spray device (1). The actuator (30) and the connecting assembly (3) can be displaced in relation to each other (F1-F4) in such a way that the actuator (30) can be positioned selectively facing a downstream end (6) of one of the supply lines (8) and can manoeuvre the valve of said line. The ends (6) of the lines arc arranged in rows and columns and an assembly (30) comprising the actuator and connected to the supply pipe (2) is mobile parallel to a plane surface (5a) where these line ends (6) open out.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 11, 2002Publication date: January 23, 2003Inventors: Pierre Ehinger, Caryl Thome
