Plate-type Armature Valve (e.g., Plate And Integral Projection Or Ball) Patents (Class 239/585.3)
  • Publication number: 20120024987
Abstract: A device is for the administration of injectable products with controlled flow rate, with a container (23) in the form of both a syringe and an ampoule preloaded with the injectable product, an injection port (25) and a control valve (21) for controlling the outlet rate and pressure arranged between the injectable products and the injection port (25). A device for reducing the outlet flow rate depends on the pressure increase applied during the administration of the injectable product, the administration being moderated by closing the valve (21) when the pressure exceeds a predetermined limit. A device prevents the backflow of fluids during the administration of the injectable product. The valve (21) can be positioned both in the container (23) and at an injection end (27) including the injection port (25) which is coupled to the container (23).

Abstract: In relation to injectors used for internal-combustion engines, it is important to decrease valve closing delay time and also the minimum injection quantity, while these are affected by remanent magnetism in the fixed core, surface tension of the fuel, etc. With reference to a fuel injection valve with a pipe-shaped member to enclose a fixed core and a movable part and further with coils and yokes to cover up the above pipe-shaped member, the anchor to drive the movable member has a plurality of through holes for fuel passage extending in the axial direction, while these through holes are arranged at a certain intervals in the circumferential direction, and projections formed to constitute a contacting surface to touch the fixed core arranged randomly in between the through holes.

  • Patent number: 8038083
Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel injector for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber, having a solenoid valve for controlling a mini-servo valve. A movable armature can be placed in a sealing fashion on a valve seat in a lower armature chamber, wherein in addition, the mini-servo valve is held in an injector body and seals a control line against a flat seat. By means of the flat seat, during an actuation of the solenoid valve, the control line can be relieved of pressure from a high fuel pressure to a return pressure into at least one return line. A mechanism for reducing pressure oscillations are provided in the at least one return line, which includes at least one diaphragm cell which is held in a recess and which is placed in fluidic connection with the at least one return bore. A fuel injector with the mechanism for reducing pressure oscillations is therefore created in the at least one return line which operates without a leakage flow and has a simple and effective function.

The intermediate flow path has a tapered conical surface that is connected to a downstream side end portion of said cylindrical surface and that includes a diameter gradually decreases in the direction of flow of fuel to cope with where the injection port diameter is small. A cone apex angle of the conical surface of the intermediate flow path is smaller than a cone apex angle of the valve seat surface.

  • Patent number: 7309025
Abstract: A fuel injection method is provided for correcting the fuel injection amount accurately by eliminating offset components when detecting a current flowing through a solenoid for fuel injection. A current component, which is detected during normal running and a drive current flowing through the solenoid for fuel injection is OFF (Step 11), is input to an A/D converter that stores the value thereof (Step 12). Thereafter, the drive current is turned ON (Step S13), elapse of a fixed time period is waited (Step S14), and an input voltage of the A/D converter is detected (Step S15). A difference current (offset component) is calculated by subtracting the offset voltage from the input voltage (Step S16), and a current span is adjusted based on a span correction factor (Step S17). Thereafter, a pulse width current correction factor is calculated (Step S2a) and, based on the pulse width current correction factor, a drive pulse width is calculated (Step S2b) and provided to the solenoid.

Abstract: A fuel jet adjusting plate has first nozzle holes arranged along a first circle coaxial with a central axis of a valve body and second nozzle holes arranged along a second circle coaxial with the central axis and having a diameter larger than that of the first circle. Each hole axis of the second nozzle holes forms an acute angle with a reference plane perpendicular to the central axis of the valve body smaller than that formed by each hole axis of the first nozzle holes with the reference plane. Hence, fuel sprays injected through the first nozzle holes can be directed away from fuel sprays injected through the second nozzle holes. As a result, the fuel sprays injected through the first nozzle holes do not interfere with the fuel sprays injected through the second nozzle holes, which makes it possible to suitably atomize injected fuel.
