Abstract: A jewelry chain having a plurality of links including a plurality of connecting links and one or a plurality of decorative links. Each decorative link comprises an outline of an alphanumeric character and becomes part of the chain by connection from at least two connecting links. The connecting links can easily pass through open sections of the alphanumeric character outline to allow rotation and sliding movement in at least two different directions so that the alphanumeric character can provide different appearances when the jewelry chain is worn. The chain can form or be incorporated in necklaces, bracelets or earrings.

Abstract: A device for interchanging a patch on an article, the device including a base component configured to contact an inner surface of the article; a curved component configured to contact an outer surface of the article wherein the curved component is switchable between an engaged state and a disengaged state, and wherein the curved component is configured to receive the patch in the disengaged state and attach the patch to the article in the engaged state; and a connector configured to extend through the article to fasten the curved component to the base component.

Abstract: A wearable harness has a first strap overlapping a second strap, with each of the first strap and the second strap having a longitudinal axis extending in a direction of a major longitudinal length. The wearable harness further has a reinforced opening extending through each of the first strap and the second strap. The reinforced openings have a pivot axis extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of each of the first strap and the second strap when the reinforced openings overlap each other. The first strap and the second strap are pivotally movable relative to one another about the pivot axis of the central openings.

Abstract: A interchangeable button system that has an interchangeable cap, a base button and a pronged fastener allowing the user to change the appearance and functionality of buttons, quickly and conveniently without sewing. The pronged fastener penetrates fabric exposing the prong tips for alignment with the base buttonholes located on the base button. Compression on the base button couples the pronged fastener with the base buttonholes creating a secure permanent attachment. The base button has an external base thread that aligns with internal cap thread for coupling. Thus the interchangeable cap can be torqued on or off. Different functional decorative and technological types of interchangeable caps may be selectively torqued onto base button for end use.

Abstract: A coaxial connector locking bracket supports a connection between a coaxial connector and a corresponding mating connector. The locking bracket includes a locking member at one end configured to engage a coupling nut of the coaxial connector and an attachment at an opposite end configured to fix a location of the locking bracket relative to the coaxial connector. The fixed location of the locking bracket is to prevent the coupling nut from rotating about an axis of the coaxial connector. The locking bracket further includes a body connected between the locking member and the attachment.

Abstract: A cap and washer fastener assembly includes a cap with an upper surface and a lower surface with a post extending from the lower surface. The assembly also includes a washer with an upper surface, a lower surface, and a hole. The assembly includes an assembled configuration wherein the post of the cap is inserted into the hole of the washer and a portion of the post is permanently deformed within the cavity. In the assembled configuration, a substrate layer is disposed between the cap and the washer. The cap and washer are configured so they are prevented from rotating relative to one another and relative to the substrate when in the assembled configuration.

Abstract: An archery peep sight cover envelops an archery peep sight to keep the archery peep sight clean of debris and prevents misalignment of the peep sight during transportation or storage for an archery bow. The archery peep sight cover includes a sight-cover body, a first string-attachment extrusion, a second string-attachment extrusion, and a string-receiving slit. The sight-cover body envelops the peep sight. The first string-attachment extrusion and the second string-attachment extrusion secure the archery peep sight cover to a bow string of the archery bow. The string-receiving slit receives the bowstring and the attached peep sight such that the peep sight is positioned within the sight-cover body and the bowstring frictionally engages the first string-attachment extrusion and the second string-attachment extrusion.

The tag includes a male portion defining a shaft, an enlarged portion proximate a first end of the shaft, and one or more sharp edges on a second end of the shaft. The one or more sharp edges are oriented to cut a pathway for the shaft through material contacting the second end of the shaft. The tag also includes a female portion defining a recess. The recess is configured to connect to the second end of the male portion.

Abstract: A charm holder device for attaching charms to a shoe is shown and described. The charm holder device allows a charm to be selectively attached to and detached from the shoe. In certain examples, the charm holder device includes a substantially planar surface that is attached to the shoe and a decorative body projecting away from the substantially planar surface. A charm keeper is attached to the decorative body for attaching charms. In some of the described examples, the charm holder device is placed between the heel of the shoe and a ground-contacting portion of the shoe's sole such that the charm holder and the charm are spaced apart from the ground-contacting portion of the sole in a direction perpendicular to the ground-contacting portion of the sole.

Abstract: A twist-lock button configured to securely fasten two articles together. Such a twist-lock button may have four pieces: a handle, a locking portion, a negative, and a button adapter. The negative attaches to an article by way of the button adapter. The locking portion attaches to the handle and passes through a button hole in the article to join with the negative by twisting 180 degrees, thereby fastening the two portions of the article together between the handle and the negative. This mechanism is more durable than hook and loop fasteners, more reliable than buttons and snaps, and less prone to jamming than zippers. In addition, the twist-lock button is easier to use for people with muscular or motor disabilities, such as cerebral palsy, ALS, stroke recoverees, and amputees.

Abstract: The use of decorative clothing fasteners may be limited by a maximum practical size of a button hole in the fabric of the clothing. Larger decorative buttons, or buttons with alternative shapes, may be used by forming a button hole on the inner piece of fabric to be attached, while the outer piece of fabric includes both an attachment to the inward facing button, and an attachment location for a decorative button cover, which may be of any shape or size. The use of other attachment methods other than buttons may benefit from the disclosed arrangement and may include snap fasteners, friction fasteners and hook and loop type fasteners.

The present invention describes an accessory having: an accessory head; and a threaded body, wherein at least a portion of the threaded body is integrated into the accessory head; and a fastener having: a horizontal part; and a concave vertical part having an elastic member, wherein the vertical part is integrated with the horizontal part, wherein the fastener is integrated into the clothing apparel with the top of the concave vertical part being externally exposed.

Abstract: A connector assembly that enables a rope or other load to be attached to a tarp or other sheet material. The assembly includes male and female connector members having broad, flat base surfaces for engaging the material of the tarp from opposite sides. The male connector member has a sharply pointed screw portion for penetrating through the material of the tarp, and the female connector member has a threaded socket for receiving the screw portion of the male connector member. At least one of the connector members includes a projecting flange portion having an opening or hook for attachment of the rope or other load. The flange portions are flattened for being gripped between the thumb and forefinger when tightening/loosening the assembly. The grip faces of the connector members include raised protuberances that prevent accidental loosening during use.

Abstract: A not rotatable enclosing buckle of fabric article, including a female buckle body formed with a shaft hole passing through a bottom end thereof and a male buckle body including a main body and a nail post upward projecting from the main body. The nail post penetrates through the fabric article and inserting into the shaft hole of the female buckle body so as to latch the male and female buckle bodies on the fabric article. A stem of the nail post is formed with at least one rib. The rib and the longitudinal axis of the stem contain an angle other than 90 degrees. The rib defines a maximum outer circumference of the stem, whereby the rib meshes with the peripheral wall of the shaft hole to prevent the male and female buckle bodies from rotating relative to each other.

Abstract: A cap for body piercing jewelry has a retention member for resisting passage through a pierced passageway. The retention member is composed of a plastic material. An enlarged end of a shank is anchored into the retention member with a threaded stud extending therefrom. The process to make the cap includes positioning viscous plastic material in a mold to produce the desired retention member shape. The enlarged portion of the shank is inserted and embedded into the plastic material. The enlarged portion of the shank has a pointed tip which enables the enlarged end of the shank to be inserted into the plastic material without producing visible unsightly air bubbles. As the shank is inserted into plastic material, the plastic material flows into anchors on the enlarged portion of the shank to assist in securing and locking the shank to the retention member.

Abstract: A fastener system which can be utilized with leather type fabric, such as shoes for attaching decorative pieces which consists of a flat disk shaped member which has a protruding component which interlocks with another flat disk shaped component which has a receiving component. The tolerances allow the two disk shape components to be affixed together such that they hold an ornamental piece in a certain position. The two disks sit parallel with each other or can be dimensioned to allow one to sit into the other such that on one side the two pieces create a relatively flat surface in relationship to the surface of the fabric. These configurations permit the ornament to be attached to the clothing without the feel of a lump or projection to the person wearing the article. This result is highly desirable, for example, at the instep of shoes where ornaments are often attached and the body is sensitive to any lump or projection.

Abstract: A button attachment device (10) is adapted to replace the standard thread known for holding buttons to fabric. Device (10), typically fabricated from molded plastics material comprises one or more spearhead (13) upon a leg (18). To allow for compression of each spearhead (13) upon passage through holes (16) in button (11), a compression recess (15) is provided. Spearheads (13) are adapted to pass through fabric or material (14) by application of pressure in the direction of arrow A in affixing the device (10) to button (11). Once affixed, the tips of each spearhead (13) may be removed by cutting or otherwise being flattened perhaps by application of heat from an iron.

Abstract: There is disclosed a connector consisting of a male coupler having a shank and head member and a female coupler including a cylindrical member having a bore and being open at one end for receiving the shank of the male coupling member. The female coupler is also provided with a head member affixed to the cylindrical member at the end opposite the open end. Both head members define a flat outer and inner face. The shank of the male coupler is preferably threaded for engaging corresponding mating threads or for self-tapping threads in the bore of the female coupler for retaining the shank in the bore. The female coupler, which is normally positioned at the upper surface of the surfboard, is provided with a head member having an axially extending opening which communicates between the outer surface of the head member and the bore and a normally extending passage which communicates between the bore and the exterior of the cylindrical member.

Abstract: A button assembly is disclosed which includes a spear that is removably connected to the back side of a button head for enabling penetration of a post (or shank) of the button head through a piece of fabric. The post, itself, is threaded so that a locking disc can be screwed onto the post on the back side of the fabric once the spear has been removed and discarded therefrom. The surfaces of the disc and the button head which engage the fabric are also provided with teeth so that the button is not loosened from the fabric once it has been fastened thereto.

Abstract: A dress fastener for fastening any two parts of a dress together, which includes a male member comprising a decorative button and a hook portion, and a female member comprising a retaining plate having two unitary screws respectively screwed up with two safety nuts. The male and female members are respectively secured to a dress at two opposite or corresponding parts thereof so that such two parts can be firmly secured together when the hook portion is connected to the retaining plate.

The holding part (5a) has a helical and/or spiral form and the holding part (5a) is intended to follow the attachment part (5b) through the material as the button arrangement is twisted.

Abstract: A connector for attaching a leash to a surf mat comprising a shank member, a head coupled to one end of the shank member, and a coupling member attachable to the other end of the shank member. The shank member is adapted to project through a resilient surf mat with the head and the coupling member lying on the opposite faces of the surf mat. The outer surfaces of the head and coupling member are smooth and neither the head nor the coupling member project substantially, if at all, from the associated face of the surf mat. The resilience of the surf mat can be used to enhance the attachment between the coupling member and the shank member. The leash is attached at one end to the connector and at the other end to the surfer.
