Abstract: A crimping system (1) for a timepiece (6) or jewelry item comprising: a crimping support (3); a precious stone (2) mounted in or on the crimping support (3); and a flexible element (5) fastened to the crimping support (3) in such a way as to flexibly link the crimping support (3) to said item (6), such that the stone (2) can oscillate axially and radially relative to an axis of symmetry (15), following a movement of the item (6); the crimping system (1) further comprising a stop (18, 22) that is more rigid than the flexible element (5), the stop (18, 221, 241) being capable of cooperating with the crimping support (3), in such a way as to limit the range of axial and/or radial movement of the stone (2) when the latter oscillates. In particular, the crimping system (1) has the advantage, relative to the prior art, of allowing much easier and more reliable mounting of the stone (2) and of being better suited to the use of stones (2) of small dimensions.

Abstract: A fastening device for securing, for example, two pieces of fabric together comprises an outer body and an outer body secured in the outer body for rotational and axial movement relative thereto so that the inner body can move outwardly and inwardly of the outer body. The inner body carries a securing element in the form of a hook or spiral so that when the inner body is moved out of the outer body the securing element can be engaged in, say, the two pieces of fabric which, when the inner body is moved axially inwardly, are trapped between the securing element and the outer body.

Abstract: Quickly attachable button arrangement (1) comprising a button head (2) having integrally formed therewith a combined button-head holding and attachment device (5) for holding the button head on and attaching the button head to a piece of material (3). The button-head holding part (5a) comprises one or more surfaces (4a, 4b, 4c) or the like which are located at a distance from the button head and face theretowards, and the button-head attachment part (5b) comprises a material-piercing needle-like part. The holding part (5a) is intended to abut the side (3a) of the material (3) located on the opposite side of the button head (2), therewith to hold the button head to the other side (3b) of the material. The holding part (5a) has a helical and/or spiral form and the holding part (5a) is intended to follow the attachment part (5b) through the material as the button arrangement is twisted.
