Abstract: The elastic closure for footwear is a releasable closure for an open upper of an article of footwear. The elastic closure includes an elastomeric loop having opposed first and second ends, an anchoring member, such as a button, secured to the first end of the elastomeric loop, and an aglet secured to and covering the second end of the elastomeric loop. In use, the aglet and the second end of the elastomeric loop are inserted from above through a first eyelet of an upper of the article of footwear, so that the aglet and the second end of the elastomeric loop may be drawn through a second eyelet of the upper from below. The button prevents the first end of the elastomeric loop from passing through the first eyelet. The second end of the elastomeric loop is then stretched across the upper and releasably secured about the button.
Abstract: A flexible hanger loop adjustably attached to an item for causing the item to be suspended with a desired orientation when hung from a hanger by the flexible loop. The item is constructed with a hole therein through which a portion of the flexible loop extends. An enlarged end of the loop prevents it from being inadvertently pulled back through the hole. In order to adjust the orientation of the item when hung by the loop from a hanger, the portion of the loop extending through the hole is twisted or rotated, whereby the item assumes a new natural orientation.
Abstract: A button mounting device includes: a button mounting unit that comprises a first die holding the button main body and a second die holding the button mounting tool; an intermediate material formation unit that forms an intermediate material, which is to be interposed between the button main body and the cloth or between the button mounting tool and the cloth, by cutting a strip-shaped sheet material; and an intermediate material transfer unit that transfers the intermediate material formed by the intermediate material formation unit to the button mounting unit to supply the first die or the second die.
Abstract: A garment fastening system having a button member adapted to be inserted into a buttonhole of a garment. The button member has a front wall, a rear wall and a side wall disposed therebetween. The button member defines an aperture that is extending from a portion of the rear wall and a portion of the side wall, and an internal chamber in communication with the aperture. The garment system also has a resilient member extending, through the aperture and having two opposite ends that are connected to the internal chamber thereby defining a loop at least partially extending outside the button member and adapted to receive a button of the garment. The aperture is dimensioned for allowing movement of the resilient member. The garment fastening system can be used for providing elasticity to a garment by simply connecting it to existing button and buttonhole.
