Abstract: A holder secured to a vertical column by a cross support holds an object in a fixed position. The holder includes a tube that can be secured to the cross support. A movable clip at a first end of the tube is configured to hold the object, e.g., a probe held in a calibration bath. The movable clip includes an aperture. When the movable clip is in an extended position, an object can be inserted into the aperture. When the movable clip moves toward a retracted position, the object is held within the aperture. A cap at the second end of the tube is coupled to the movable clip by a spring inside the tube. The movable clip exerts an adjustable holding force on the object by adjusting a number of turns of the spring between the cap and the movable clip. A central holding device may support multiple holders.

Abstract: An articulating buckle including a loop side and a hook side, the loop side configured to pivotably couple with the hook side via insertion of a cylindrical bar of the loop side into a rounded groove of the hook side. Coupling via the cylindrical bar and rounded groove enables the loop side to pivot relative to the hook side while the two sides are engaged. The articulating buckle further includes a first cam latch and a second cam latch, pivotably coupled to a base of the hook side, and configured to releasably secure the cylindrical bar within the rounded groove. The first cam latch includes a first lobe, and the second cam latch includes a second lobe, wherein the first lobe and the second lobe are configured to bias the first cam latch and second cam latch, respectively, towards a locked position, when acted against by the cylindrical bar.

Abstract: A stretching device for stretching and aligning a user's back may include a belt, optionally a gambrel and universal hook, and optionally a support system, such as a slotted door mount. The belt may be designed to wrap around the user's back and under the user's armpits, wherein the belt is a segmented belt having a plurality of raised segments spaced along a length of the belt. Rings may be attached to each end of the belt, wherein the rings may be designed to engage with a mounting device, such as the gambrel and universal hook.

Abstract: A 360-degree double carabiner includes an outer-carabiner, an inner-carabiner and a swivel joint including a swivel cylinder and two locking pins. The outer-carabiner is enabled into a horizontal hole, the inner-carabiner is enabled into a vertical hole, the two locking pins are enabled into two smaller holes of the swivel cylinder to lock the outer-carabiner and the inner-carabiner to the swivel cylinder. The 360-degree double carabiner includes an outer latch, wherein one end of the outer latch is fixed to a proximal end of the outer-carabiner and another end of the outer latch rests on a distal end of the outer-carabiner. The 360-degree double carabiner includes an inner latch, wherein one end of the inner latch is fixed to a proximal end of the inner-carabiner, another end of the inner latch rests on a distal end of the inner-carabiner.

Abstract: The invention discloses a double-safety adjustment hook for a length-adjustable luggage strap, which mainly includes a luggage strap, an adjustment hook housing, a reinforcing bar and a reinforcing crossbeam, wherein the luggage strap is penetrated into a strap inlet hole arranged at the bottom of the adjustment hook housing, penetrated through a strap passage, and passed through a U-turn and through a turn bypassing hole fixed on the reinforcing crossbeam, a strap clamping groove having bevelled teeth on both side walls thereof is arranged below the turn bypassing hole, the luggage strap is passed through the turn bypassing hole into the strap clamping groove and penetrated through the bevelled teeth, and finally exits from a strap outlet hole arranged at the bottom of the adjustment hook housing.

Abstract: A belt adjustment and fixation hook (1), comprising a body (10), a hook portion (11), a limiting convex portion (12) and a belt installation frame portion (13); the body (10) has a first main surface (101) and a second main surface (102) opposite thereto; the body (10) is provided with a first through hole (103); the limiting convex portion (12) is located in the first through hole (103) and extrudes beyond the first main surface (101) to limit a support rod (2); and the belt installation frame portion (13) is connected to the body (10) to further connect to a belt (3). The belt adjustment and fixation hook (1) fits the support rods (2) having different diameters; in addition, the belt adjustment and fixation hook (1) is convenient to detach and replace the belt (3), thus improving user experiences and reducing costs.

Abstract: An adjustable cam buckle assembly is described herein. The adjustable cam buckle assembly may include a cam buckle member, a retaining member and a clamp. The cam buckle member may include a hook section and a buckle section, wherein the buckle section may include a central opening and at least one slot. The retaining member may be engaged with the hook section, wherein the retaining member and the hook section may be capable of selectively securing a member within the hook section. The clamp may be pivotally engaged with the buckle section, wherein the clamp may be capable of engaging a strap within the buckle section.

A first hook having a first eye, is provided, wherein the loop passes through the first eye. A second hook, having a different configuration from the first hook is provided, having a second eye wherein the loop passes through the second eye. The second hook is sized and configured to pass through the first eye of the first hook.

Abstract: A swivel D-ring attachment point. A first attachment portion has a first closed aperture defining a circular ring portion that extends over a first circumferential range of at least 180 degrees of arc that is symmetrically disposed relative to an axis. A second attachment portion has a second closed aperture. The first and second attachment portions are joined together so as to permit freely swivelling one of the attachment portions relative to the other around the axis. The second aperture has a shape that is substantially different from the shape of the first aperture, for connecting to substantially different articles.

Abstract: A universal tie down assembly includes first and second longitudinal belts comprising reinforced webbing made from a flexible fabric material. Each belt includes a buckle end and an anchor end. The anchor end is a loop of the reinforced webbing. At least one longitudinal slot is woven into an edge of at least one of the belts. The length of the slot is at least as great as the width of the belts. The assembly includes a novel open under load buckle having a receiving part (female part) and an insertion part (male part). The buckle end of one of the belts is adjustably disposed in a belt opening of one of the insertion part and the receiving part and the buckle end of the other of the belts forms a sewn loop that loops through a belt opening of the other of the insertion part and the receiving part.

Abstract: A strap assembly comprises an attachment member structure includes a main body and a plurality of attachment members. A first end portion of the main body is pivotable with respect to a second end portion thereof. Attachment members are connected to the main body at its opposing ends. A clasping device attached to the main body is engagable with one of the attachment members when a control portion of the clasping device is in a first position and selectively disengagable therefrom when a control portion of the clasping device is sufficiently displaced. A control structure is attached to the control portion of the clasping device such that sufficient displacement of the control structure with respect to the clasping device causes sufficient displacement of the control portion. A storage structure integral with the main body includes a passage configured for receiving at least a portion of the control structure therein.

Abstract: A buckle device includes a female member having a chamber for receiving a strap, a male member having two tabs for engaging into the chamber of the female member and for detachably coupling the female member and the male member together, and a pressing device engaged into the chamber of the female member and having one end pivotally coupled to the female member with a pivot axle, and having the other end for engaging with the strap and for limiting the strap to move relative to the female member, and the tabs of the male member are engageable with the pressing device for forcing the pressing device to engage with the strap when the tabs of the male member are engaged into the chamber of the female member.

Abstract: An adjustable length rope clip for tethering an animal or other object on a lead rope providing a predetermined length of rope to be released when pressure is applied. The rope clip for attachment to a lead rope, the clip having a arm element for positioning a lead rope, or the like on the clip, providing means for retaining a predetermined length of rope, permitting the rope to be easily manually adjusted in length about the rope clip and permitting the a predetermined length of rope to be selectively released in a controlled manner upon application of pressure by the animal. The clip system providing means for re-positioning an attached animal, or the like, without the addition of other devices and without un-tethering the animal, even momentarily.

Abstract: In a hook fastener having a sliding closure for closing the mouth of the hook, a keeper prevents opening of the closure. The hook fastener includes a body having a base portion and a hook portion extending from an end of the base portion to define a gap between the hook and the base portion. An opening formed in the base portion has an elongate mouth intersecting an external face on the base portion. The closure includes a shaft part and a grip part, the shaft part received in the opening, the grip part protruding from the shaft part through the mouth for manipulation by a user. A spring urges the closure such that the shaft part extends out of the opening into the gap. The keeper is received to rotate upon the external face, being located between the grip part and abutment on the body. A slot in the keeper extends parallel to the mouth, the keeper preventing the user retracting the closure from the gap, except when the slot is rotated so as to be angularly aligned with the mouth.

Abstract: A buckle assembly includes a handhold or attachment type of strap system for horse reins, backpack straps, belts, climbing rope, and the like. The female portion of the mating assembly that forms the buckle permits a strap to pass through such that the latchable engagement of the male member of the buckle, upon insertion into the female portion, fixes the position of the buckle by frictionally engaging the strap. At least one or both of the male and female members may also include a loop type-connecting strap that provides a handholding attachment to the buckle assembly. Thus, the placement of the handhold attachment may be varied by the disengaging the male and female members, and sliding the female member along the strap before their reinsertion of the male member.

Abstract: A self-locking fixing loop with adjustment of an attachment strap comprises a base equipped with a clasp for hooking a retaining ring thereon, and an operating button movable between a closed position and an open position of the loop, respectively to hold and release said retaining ring. A spring locks the operating button in the closed position, and a ring adjusts the length of the strap, said ring being inserted between the button and the base opposite the clasp.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a lanyard construction, which includes a strap forming a closed loop of flexible material adapted to be disposed about a part of a human body. An adjustable mounting element, preferably either a slide hook assembly or a universal slide attachment, is on the loop. This mounting element is used for mounting an object to be displayed or used by the wearer of the lanyard. Finally, the lanyard construction of the present invention includes a breakaway member which defines a weak point in the strap whereat the loop may open and be pulled free from the wearer. In the present invention, the user of the lanyard selects the best location for separation of the weak point from the mounting element about the periphery of the lanyard loop. Such a location may be behind the wearer's neck, or it may be some location closer to the mounting element.

Abstract: A motorcycle saddlebag comprising a body formed of a substantially continuous and substantially rigid material (e.g., plastic) having an opening providing access to the interior volume of the body. A body cover made of a flexible material (e.g., leather) is formed over at least a portion of the exterior surface of the body. The saddlebag further includes a lid formed of a substantially rigid material (e.g., plastic) and a lid cover made of a flexible material (e.g., leather) formed over at least a portion of the exterior surface of the lid. A first fastener and a second fastener are connected in series between the lid and the body such that both the first and second fasteners must be fastened to hold the body to the lid. The first fastener can be a strap and buckle fastener, and the second fastener can be a quick-release fastener that is at least partially hidden by the first fastener.

Abstract: An adjustable strap is comprised of an elastic band generally folded in half with one section slightly longer than the other. The end of longer section is folded back over the shorter section and stitched to the end of the shorter section and an adjacent portion of the longer section. An elongated small loop and an elongated large loop are formed on opposite sides of the stitching. A D-ring is connected to the small loop, and a clip hook is hinged to the D-ring for clipping to a supporting structure. The lateral sections of the large loop are both threaded through at least two slots in a buckle, which is slidable along the large loop to divide it into two variable-size storage loops for strapping and holding items. The buckle is slidable for changing the sizes of the storage loops for tightening around the items. A triangular ring is connected to the storage loop farther away from the clip hook. The strap may be wrapped around a supporting structure by clipping the triangular ring to the clip hook.

Abstract: A multi-purpose hook for a message board having an edge along its front surface, the hook including a substantially flat extension member having first and second ends, a retaining grip extending from the first end, and a curved hook extending from the second end. The hook generally curves in a plane oriented substantially perpendicular to a plane defined by the extension member, thereby preferably defining a portion of a cylinder, preferably defining a substantially half-cylindrical cross-sectional shape. The retaining grip includes a substantially flat portion extending between front and rear portions of the retaining grip, and preferably extends substantially perpendicularly from the first end of the extension member. The retaining grip is attachable to an edge of a fixed member, such as a frame of a message board, the retaining grip including a tip extension and a lip on the front and rear portions, respectively, for engaging similarly shaped front and rear channels in the edge of the fixed member.

Abstract: An attachment system for coupling an object such as a small pouch or case or a tool or flashlight to a belt, backpack, knapsack, vest or the like. The attachment system includes a tab which is sewn to the belt, backpack or etc. . . and which has an elevated region defining a key-like opening. The system also includes a coupling member having a key-like structure which may be inserted into the opening in the tab member, and which may be rotated between a position wherein the coupling member is secured to the tab member and a second position wherein the coupling member may be detached from the tab member. The coupling member may be attached to a pouch or small case. In another embodiment, the coupling member can releasably attach the shaft of a tool or flashlight.

Abstract: A quick release disconnect for a harness comprising an attached pivotable collar that is pulled through gravitational force from a lock position of upward rotation into a normal release position of downward rotation. The pivotable collar in its lock position of upward rotation engages a yoke on a snaphook. A tang secures the pivotable collar in its lock position to the yoke. A flexible quick-release means detaches the from the pivotable collar such that the pivotable collar returns to its normal release position and the yoke is automatically disengaged from the pivotable collar.

Abstract: A fastener for bi-valve casts splints and other devices is disclosed which permits ease of use, change-ability of straps, reliability, convenience and detachability, that is, which permits repetitive attachment, removal and re-attachment. The fastener includes a base, attached to the device, a buckle universal mounted and detachably connected to the base, and a strap coupled to the buckle at one end and adapted to wrap the device and engage the buckle at its other end to secure the devices while preventing migration and rotation of the device from the original intended position.

Abstract: An elastic buckle construction which is comprised of a base which has a bore at its top side and a throughhole passing through from one side to another side of the bore, an engaging ring of a circular shape which has a tapered annular wall surface at its inner side and which is adapted to be received in the throughhole, a buckle body which has an engaging rod of disuniform cross-section for insertion into the bore and an engaging plate directly molded on its one side, whereby the base and the buckle body are firmly interconnected when the engaging rod of the buckle body is inserted into the bore and the engaging ring clamps the engaging rod.

Abstract: A plastic snap-hook for hooking belts to rings secured to articles of various kind comprises two sections only; one base section, shaped as a strip folded at one end thereof on itself in the form of a hook and folded at the other end on itself as a flexible tongue; and a second section in the form of a slider engaging the lateral edges of said first section and adapted to slide between a closed and an open position of the hook. The flexible tongue tends to bring the slider back in the closed position of the hook when said slider moves from said closed position.

Abstract: A buckle for a safety harness consists of two identical parts. Each part comprises a plate 10 having a D-shaped aperture 12 in one end, for receiving a harness, and a portion 14 at the other end folded at right angles to the rest of the plate 10 along an oblique fold line 16. A slot 18 extends half way along the fold line 16. A second plate 20 has a tab 22 welded to the portion 14 of the plate 10 at the side thereof adjacent to the slot 18. The two parts interlock with the upstanding portions 14 and 22 of one part projecting through the slot 18 in the other and vice versa. Tension applied to a harness connected to the apertures 12 tends to draw the ends 24 of the slots 18 into abutment with each other.
